Our place in on the ski hill and there is a ski trail within a 2 minute walk.

Our home is furnished in a contemporary manner and is appointed with all the luxury touches and amenities that separate it from the rest. Air conditioning for Summer, heated tile floors for Winter. Granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms; personal ski storage; boot/mitt dryer, heated parking; as well as a fully equipped kitchen and more.

Ideal for 6-8 adults and 4-6 kids. Three bedrooms with king-size beds, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. A bunk room with 4 double-size beds and 2 twin-size beds.

Situated in a prime location our home possesses unparalleled views of the Canadian Rockies and is close to many amenities making it an ideal and beautiful location for a vacation any time of the year. Enjoy the stunning views from deck in the private hot tub while the steaks cook on the BBQ.

Summer activities at Kicking Horse include, via ferrata, grizzly bear refuge, downhill biking, trail biking, and lots of hiking trails. Plus you are 10 minutes to the town of Golden and 20 minutes to Yoho national park. Golden has white water rafting and much more.

The house was lovely - clean and had all the basics needed. The view was beautiful and was nice to be able to ski in and ski out. The bunk bed room for kids was a nice feature.

Spacious and inviting!

What an amazing week we spent at this place! So much space for 5 people, huge dining table, so many bedrooms and bathrooms, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Having ensuite laundry was super helpful. Though it’s a little outside of Golden, it was worth the extra drive every day for such a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend!

Better than we remembered

This was our second stay and it was better than we remembered! House is very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and the elevated hot tub is a wonderful on those cool evenings! We will be back!

Great unit with all you need. Comes as advertised and Paul was very easy to deal with. Seamless. Hot tub has an excellent view and the heated path to the tub is a very nice touch.10 out of 10 would come back.

Great Place. Beautiful area

Great stay. Easy check in/access to property. Very clean. Beautiful views. Hot tub was big and clean. We visited many national parks and other sites around the Banff/Lake Louise area and this was a great jumping off point. Paul was very responsive and helpful. Everything exactly as advertised. Would love to stay here again.

I am glad we chose this house to stay while in Banff area. Paul is helpful and responsive. The house is spacious, well stocked. Kitchen has everything we need. The hot tub has great view of the mountain. We enjoyed the tub while watching sunset. Grocery stores are just down the hill. The washing machine broke down during our stay but laundromat is right next to IGA and we had no problem washing our clothes. Fun fact: there is a grizzly bear named Boo that lives in the hills of Kicking Horse mountain. We didnt know until we left but you should check him out if you can.

Beautiful Ski getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at kicking horse. The accommodations were wonderful, and the instructions for the house were easy to follow. A great perk was the heated mats by the hot tub! We enjoyed sitting outside staring at the trees and mountains it was very serene. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to cook meals for the group. Aside from skiing we didn’t leave the house! We hung out and played games and ate great food. Thanks Paul!

Really loved this property. Really great layout for two families of five. Excellent social space at top floor. Thanks for being well stocked. Loved the speaker just for the hot tub and the heated mats leading to tub. Well thought out.

Paradise at Kicking Horse

Paul's property at Kicking Horse is outstanding. Everything is new and top of the line and Paul was a great communicator. We will definitely be back again and I would encourage anyone looking for newly built accommodation in the kicking horse to book this property. Highlights include the hot tub on the deck, great sitting area with fireplace and large TV, top of the line appliances and utensils, boot warmer in the garage and great gear room off of garage. Views were outstanding as well.

amazing views and a relaxing stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice! We LOVED the heated mats to dry off on after the hot tub. The snow conditions were not great, so the ski in was a little tricky- a blue with not much snow, a lot of ice, and some moguls, so one of our group members had to be picked up from the base (which is 1 min drive away). Maybe there was an easier way, but we couldn't figure it out :) The bunk room was awesome. The place felt large for our group of 6 adults!

Amazing property

This is an incredibly well-stocked luxury escape in Golden. Everything was as advertised, if not better. We especially liked the quiet of the neighborhood, the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, (great for those looking to cook some meals), and fantastic in-unit entertainment options with three large TVs and Bluetooth speakers. We had many family dinners at the large dining room table, and the layout of the unit allowed the kids and the adults to have their own entertainment spaces in the evening. Can’t wait to try it in the winter…

This property was clean, spacious and homey! Great kids bunk room. Loved the mudroom and garage space for all our stuff. So easy to keep our gear all organised! Easy to find, easy to ski out after a short walk. Had everything we needed. Fastest coffee machine ever. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Travelled with 3 couples and 2 teenagers and the house was perfect. House was clean, very well stocked, beds were comfy, plenty of towels and the hot tub was superb! Location was nice and quiet with a great view or the mountains. We will definitely return!

Beautiful Place

Rented this unit for a ski trip with ten 40-somethings and everyone on the trip raved about this place. Had many things at our disposal to keep us entertained, very clean and well kept. Hope to be back again!

We're a family of four from Calgary. Three of us have a love for skiing, and mom likes the hot tub and the view (to go along with a glass or three of wine). We have recently upgrade from a smaller two bedroom condo as we really like having other friends and family join us.

Why they chose this property

The best skiing in the area. It's only 45 minutes further than Lake Louise (from Calgary), and has a fraction of the crowd. Great views and year round activities.
