Great stay in Taos! The house was just as described. The fenced yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. We had an issue during our stay and the host was quick to help us with it. Highly recommend!
Very nice property, well appointed, beautiful views. Great place for dogs, ample private places to walk. Only negatives are outdated electronics (TVs) and discarded items outside detract from ambience.
Nice property in a good location - close to Taos Plaza, mountains and trails. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Beautiful views in all directions.
My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs and had a wonderful time. The fenced in yard worked great with our dogs, and the house itself was clean and lovely. The only minor issue was the water -- it was very hard and water pressure wasn't great.
The view from both the front and the back of the house was magnificent. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked with everything you needed. The furnishings were very comfy. We had a little trouble getting in when we first arrived but the host responded very quickly when I called. I loved having the fenced in area for the dog. We would definitely return and recommend this house. I gave it a 4 because the flooring in the kitchen and dining area was worn and the shower head in the master bath was not functioning properly. There was also a set of blinds broken but the curtains covered that window. If you’re looking for a comfortable, roomy, oustanding view and location this is the place!
Taos was my home for many years and my spiritual go to place when I need to rejuvenate, Wendy's home was just what I needed. Love the kitchen and how well it was stocked. Will definitely recommend and stay again.
This is the perfect little house for us and our English bulldog. We had a very nice day. The place was clean and gorgeous views. The star gazing was great! Close to everywhere but far enough to feel private.
Wendy’s place was exactly as described. Check in was straight forward and the house was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was a perfect escape from the city and the heat. I really appreciate it being dog friendly without a ton of excess rules. It’s nice to be able to travel with pets without added stress.
This was a second stay! Great place near lots of outdoor activities in the Taos area. We really enjoyed the nearby hiking and biking trails. Easy drive to Taos Ski Valley, the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and the Enchanted Circle. House is as advertised and is perfect for folks travels with dogs. Small backyard is fenced and house is a good distance from the neighbors. An added bonus is the 360 degree views of sunrises, sunsets and the mountains! .
Great house and wonderful for our dogs.
The view is a knockout. Began and ended every day on the swing looking at the mountains.
The kitchen was well supplied and the bedrooms/bathrooms were very comfortable.
I would stay again.
Kitchen and living room was a nice huge room. Only one bedroom had AC so one couple slept in the living room/kitchen area where the other AC was. Nice backyard for the dogs. Checkin was very easy.

Peaceful and quiet getaway
The house was clean and comfortable, with excellent provisioning. The exterior of the property was negatively impacted by an abundance of dead plant materials around the front and rear patios and yard. I called this to the manager's attention when we arrived, as it was disappointing to behold. Since this is merely a matter of outside maintenance,, it should be easy to remedy. That's why I've given overall rating of 3 stars. We enjoyed the location and the privacy.
Overall good. Nice to have fenced yard for our two dogs. We stayed one month, one complaint there is a A/C unit in living room and one in Master, it was very very loud. The master was held together with masking tape from the hose to the outside, so fell off twice. Otherwise good house, loved walking our dogs on the property in the morning and early evening. Good location, very peaceful but not too far from town.
We appreciated the fenced back yard for our dog, but as another review noted, the back patio was very overgrown with weeds and detracted from a pleasant outdoor experience. It was a bit depressing and could have been remedied by a quick weed-whacking from the property manager. That is the only downpoint with this stay. It was a bit close to the road so there is some road noise but that isn't the owners fault. We felt safe with the private, gated entrance. The house was also generously appointed with coffee, condiments and toiletries. We loved sitting outside in the evenings enjoying the view of the mountains... if it just weren't for all of the tall overgrown weeds.
The house was very clean, had everything you needed and more. Layout was great for someone who gets up early and does not want to disturb the sleeping family members. Fenced yard was good for the dogs. And of course the views were breathtaking from the many windows in the house.
Great location close to convivences but out in ranch land
Great property with all the things you need for your stay. Air conditioning for summer and fireplace for winter. Host is very kind and responsive. Good for dogs. Great views of the Mountains.
It was a beautiful location. Easy to get to. Beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen and activities.
A member of our party is disabled and she found it very comfortable and easy to move around too.
Would recommend :)
My family had a great time at Wendy's place. It was just outside of town (5-10 mins), which was perfect--we were close enough to enjoy the wonderful town of Taos, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet beauty of the area. The views were great, and the place had everything we needed.
Wendy was very communicative, and the check-in and check-out processes were easy. The home itself was very comfortable and spacious, and there was even space to park our trailer that we had with us, which was so helpful.
Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Taos.
The pictures don’t do it justice. The place felt so welcoming, comfortable, and homey. We very much enjoyed the telescope and the spa-like bathtub. Views were breathtaking. Small touches throughout the place meant so much!
