Everything was very clean, the bedrooms, lounge/diner all lovely, just as in the pictures. The kitchen was well equiped although as heavy tea drinkers we missed a kettle. For us the stand out feature was the enormous balcony with stunning views across the sea, watching the sunrise at least once during your stay is a must. There is a room of beach equipment which gave us hours of fun as did the snooker table!We also enjoyed hiring a chef come and cook us a meal one evening, at our request he provided us with a typical Sicilian seafood menu which tasted amazing.Ennrico was a brilliant host and helped us out with anything we needed, including pointing us towards the nearest good beaches, restaurants and where to park for the train station.

Loved Our Stay at Villa Orizzonte

We absolutely love staying at Villa Orizzonte. It is the most beautiful and comfortable stay directly on the Sea. This was our second time staying and everything was just as perfect as the first time. The villa is spotlessly clean, comfortable and everything you need is easily accessible. We love going to Aspra - the beautiful little fishing village just a mile down the road - for the market or to eat at Il Corallo. Enrico - the owner is the best host you will ever meet. He will meet you to check in, provide information about the area and restaurants and is always available for any questions, responding immediately. We would love to return every year to Villa Orizzonte!

Fantastic Villa

The villa was spacious and well presented, and the views from the balcony were stunning. With access to the sea from the bottom of the villa we were able to go swimming most days. Enrico was a wonderful host, he was extremely helpful and made it clear that he was only a phone call away in the event of any issues. In the end we had no need to bother him but it was reassuring to know he was on hand. We took Enrico's suggestion to go into Palermo by train and that worked extremely well. We also hired a boat from the boatyard he suggested (which we would never have known about otherwise).All in all a great villa in a great location.

Just superb!

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful property! The villa has EVERYTHING a family or larger group could need. The whole home is immaculate with stunning interior decor, beautiful terraces on 2 levels and amazing sea views from 3 of the 6 large bedrooms. Direct access to the sea is another plus, and we swam almost every day. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to prepare meals to have in the evening sunshine. We loved the opportunity for family time combined with the option for privacy when needed. If all of that is not enough, the host Enrico is the best we’ve ever had, so friendly, caring, and responsive. He left a wonderful selection of welcome treats and even came to help load our bags and say farewell when we left! We would love to return to this magical spot on the beautiful Northern shore of Sicily.

Fabulous villa at sea shore

Spacious villa, which has been designed built and maintained with devotion and great motivation. The outcome is perfect for spending holiday -or living longer. There is room for at least 6 couples - and even the "last" bed is good to sleep. Kitchen is well equipped and everything we needed was there. The environment is good for running, walking - and you can swim 20 meters from the terrazzo , provided the waves are not too big. We have visited more than a dozen of villas around Italy - and I rank this as #1. And Enrico keeps every promise and is easy to communicate with.

Perfect 60th Family Gathering

I booked the villa for a surprise for my husband for his 60th Birthday. Our party was 8 adults - my husband and I, children,their partners his mum and sister. The accommodation was spacious and luxurious. As it was a celebration, the pool table was a fun addition for games nights. There was a kayak and snorkeling equipment which the family made full use of to explore the beautiful coastline via private steps to the beach. We enjoyed eating on the terrace with its fantastic view across the sea, but you absoutely need protection from the Sicilian mosquitos, which are ruthless!There is a prebookablr local taxi service, but another time I'd book a car. It was tricky aligning the availabity of the taxi and the trips we wanted to do. Enrico,the host, is extremely helpful, even booking the most beautiful cakes on my behalf (it was also my mum in law's birthday) which were delivered to the villa at reasonable cost. We've been lucky to travel extensively and this was the perfect location for a party.

What can I say that would do justice to describe our stay at Villa Orizzonte ? The Villa is truly breathtaking. The amazing and beautiful panoramic 180 degree view of The Tyrrhenian Sea from Aspra to Capo Zeferano will forever be imprinted in our minds . There was a private swimming access to the sea with all the necessities in place for enjoying the water . The true Sicilian architecture and lush gardens are exquisite . Our host Enrico embodied true heartfelt Sicilian hospitality . He surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers on my birthday and upon arrival left our family fruit, sweets ,water, and wine. Our expectations were exceeded 100 times over and would only dream of returning one day . 5 stars ! Grazie, Suzanne, Lois, Ryan, Sydney

A spectacular house with an astonishing view - and the perfect host

The house – or rather castle, is built by a Sicilian nobleman, and holds a lot of atmosphere and soul. It is the most well-equipped house we have ever stayed in – and we have tried quiet a few. The interior is kept loyal to the intentions of the builder yet modernized with all necessary features: Bathrooms are big and well equipped, and the beds are very good. The terraces are situated with the most breathtaking view over the sea. There is no pool, but you really do not need one. Walk down the established staircase and continue the path to the sea where you have a natural private pool. We arrived late and Enrico, the perfect host, received us showing all the features of the house. He had also equipped the fridge with cold prosecco, white wine as well as plenty of snacks. Best arrival ever! The house is situated a short drive from Aspra with supermarkets, bread shops and plenty of cozy restaurants along the water front. All in all a splendid week.

Truely Amazing Property and Host

Weve stayed in a dozen upscale properties over the last 6 years. This villa (really like a castle) is the most spectacular property we've visited. Six bedrooms. Guest have complete privacy when desired, yet massive common areas for gathering. The location is perfectly located near the small seaside community of Aspra, yet 12 minutes from the much larger town of Bagheria, offering plenty of incredible dining options and grocery stores. The view off the massive (multiple) decks of this home are sensational. Waves crashing can be heard from most bedrooms and all common areas. High ceilings and Italian marble floors throughout. Like being in a fairytale. All of this is onky surpassed by the host and property owner Enrico, personally paying attention to every detail for your comfort. Such a genuinely warm host. His desire for the guest experience to be perfect really shows through. Welcome wine and fresh fruits and juices. Plenty of written recommendations for dining, shopping, etc. Always responding promptly to questions. He provides the property w security services and gardening for the incredible grounds. The scale of the grounds and the plant life are astonishing, providing sweet fragrances whike walking about. This property is truely stunning. Outside, inside, and all around. Some other touches that other premium properties dont usually provide: full selection of uoscale stemware. Albums and turntable system, water sport gear. Best property near Palermo for sure!

Villa Orizzonte - Heaven on Earth!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Orizzonte. The villa is a large and significant property, extremely well maintained, both outside and inside. It was very clean and the beds and seating inside and outside were comfortable. The kitchen is complete with plenty of dishes and cookware. A car is needed and a grocery store and restaurants are a short drive of 5 minutes to the wonderful little fishing village of Aspra. Apple Maps worked much better than Google Maps for driving in and around Bagheria. Google Maps kept sending us down tiny alleys with one inch of room to spare on each side of the car. Bagheria offers larger stores, restaurants and all amenities that anyone would need. I can’t say enough good things about owner Enrico. He was extremely kind and helpful and immediately responded to any questions or needs that we had. He clearly cares greatly about the maintenance of the property and the comfort of its guests. He is by far the best host we have ever encountered and a very nice person. We would love to visit Villa Orizzonte every year for an absolutely fantastic vacation.

Très belle maison dans un décor naturel magnifique

Notre séjour que nous avions projeté depuis le premier confinement à Paris en Avril 2020, s'est merveilleusement passé. La villa Orizzonte très spacieuse et très belle est aussi d'un grand raffinement. Nous étions 10 adultes mais nous n'avions pas le sentiment d'être les uns sur les autres. Le jardin est tout simplement magnifique avec une végétation luxuriante et la vue sur la mer et le cap Zafferano grandiose. La maison est un havre de paix où il était très agréable de rentrer après des journées de visites passionnantes mais harassantes à Cefalù, Monreale, Segeste, Palerme ... . Enrico est un hôte exquis avec un grand sens de l'hospitalité et une disponibilité peu commune. Grace à lui, nous avons pu aussi goûter à la cuisine familiale sicilienne préparée par la Signora Lia. Cela a été un autre moyen de découvrir cette grande culture de la Sicile. Nous leur en sommes très reconnaissants. Nous recommandons, sans aucune hésitation, la maison d'Enrico!

Superbe villa

Avons passé un magnifique sejour dans la villa d'Enrico. Nous étions 3 couples avec 4 ados. Tout était parfait. La villa est immense et parfaitement équipée. Rien ne manque. Et surtout l'emplacement est extraordinaire avec une immense terrasse surplombant la mer, et un accès direct pour se baigner. Ce qui est un vrai plus quand on voit les plages surpeuplées. Enrico est un hôte extrêmement accueillant et attentif au confort des vacanciers. Bref allez y les yeux fermés. Et encore merci Enrico pour votre accueil.

A dream becomes true - aesthetic villa with unique view!

Looking for a hideaway for group of friends or family? This is definitely a really great place for you to consider. Luxurious villa, well equipped and beautifully furnished. We spent a week with a family of 9 adults between 25 - 80 and one toddler. Everyone found his favorite place to chill out or enjoy. Terrace by day and night or pool table, a swim in the sea in front of the house or just playing one of the records which you will find there or.... Perfectly clean and most important with Enrico a fantastic very responsive and supportive host! Several restaurants (if you don’t want to use the BBQ or the gas furnace) and different beaches within 5-10 minutes driving distance. Almost no cell phone coverage in the villa but WiFi is available.

Wonderful House

Our host could not have been kinder. The view from the balcony is extraordinary. Given the location, however I would say that you might want to think twice about going with young children. Otherwise perfect with a landlord who had clearly thought very carefully about his guests needs. Highly recommended!

Amazing villa

We want to say a big thank to Enrico, he is a wonderful and a very helpful host, we had a great time there! The villa is just amazing, high equipped and well furnished, the garden was also a beauty. We were 10 there (6 adults and 4 children), but there would have been place for one more family. The sight is even more beautiful as on the pictures: you can wake up to the sunrise, the see is extreme clear. By snookering we sought a lot of fish and shells. There are several nice beaches (for instance Porticello) for just a few minutes by car. The beautiful Cefalu is reachable in an hour. See you next time :).

Meraviglioso soggiorno

Meglio di quello che si vede dalle foto, una villa che ti affascina, in una posizione fantastica, pulita accogliente e dotata di ogni genere di comfort. Il padrone di casa è una persona squisita, disponibile e discreto. La Sicilia e i siciliani hanno fatto da contorno a questa straordinaria location. La consiglio senza Dubbio! Noi torneremo spero.

Incredible house, great view, best holidays ever

We spent almost two weeks in a house with a wonderful familial atmosphere, one of the most incredible views from the terrace. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Perfect for holidays with family or with a group of friends . A house with a real soul !!!

Séjour de rêve!

Que le retour fut difficile après les 15 jours magiques que nous avons passé à la Villa Orizzonte! Son descriptif est tellement en deçà de ce qu"elle est en réalité, c'est à dire extraordinaire! Son architecture et l'aménagement de son espace sont incroyables et permettent d'y séjourner à plusieurs avec facilité et bien-être! De même, sa situation géographique est idéale puisque la villa se trouve à distance raisonnable de la plupart des trésors culturels de la Sicile et, bien sur, les pieds dans l'eau! .... Et que dire d'Enrico, si ce n'est qu'il s'agit d'une très belle personne, serviable, attentive, ouverte aux autres, cultivée, .... qui prend vraiment très à cœur la qualité du séjour des occupants de la villa! En fait, tout était tellement génial, que nous avons déjà réservé pour l'été prochain!

Casa perfetta

Esperienza assolutamente da consigliare; la casa è bellissima, non manca nulla, accessoriata e funzionale con molte possibilità di svago e divertimento anche per i bambini. Casa estremamente pulita. La posizione è molto comoda, a poca strada da Palermo. La terrazza sul mare è fantastica e l'accesso al mare dagli scogli dà la possibilità di fare il bagno in un' acqua limpida e ideale per fare immersioni; facilmente accessibile anche per i bimbi. Tre camere da letto con finestra sul mare, da sogno e altre camere nel piano più basso, molto fresche, per chi sopporta meno il caldo. Se ciò non bastasse è da segnalare l'estrema gentilezza ed accoglienza di Enrico, il proprietario; molto disponibile e presente per ogni necessità. Imperdibile la casa e imperdibile la Sicilia!!!

Great luxury villa on the sea with amazing view

We had a great stay at la Villa Orizzonte. It is a very unique villa and decorated with a lot of taste and luxury. The villa is big with many rooms and bathrooms, all of them are very clean. Moreover for a big family (we were 7 adults and 5 children), it was very practical, we could find there everything we needed. The view is just amazing and it is directly on the water. The owner also took care of us really well. In a nutshell we consider coming back as we really loved it there.
