Great Family Beachfront Home where you can watch the sun rise over majestic Mt. Baker, stroll the long beach or just relax in one of the lounge chairs on the patio. This beach is noted for agate hunting and is a great spot to start your kayaking trip. Children love to make forts from the driftwood on the beach
The home has been remodeled yet still retains the cozy atmosphere of 'Grandma's Beach House'. It comes with everything needed for a fun getaway. The kids can play on the beach and the parents can watch from the patio. The Kitchen has been totally remodeled and the furniture almost all new. There is a large Family Room, Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa, Master Bedroom with Queen Size Bed and guest bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and 2 baths. It comes with BBQ,TV,DVD,VCR, picnic tables & lounge chairs. The home has a delightful history which we have set down in writing for you to enjoy. SECOND BATH REMODELED THIS YEAR. PET FRIENDLY
We stayed 3 nights over Christmas and could not have been more comfortable (we were a group of 4). The house is well-layed out for space to read, sit, sleep, conversation. You are right on the water with big windows to take in the view of the water and mountains, and it has a nice terrace to eat or lounge outside. It is close to neighbors, but the houses are off-set for a feeling of privacy. Super clean throughout, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and amenities, some games and books if you forgot yours. The beach is narrow and rocky with lots of shells and pretty stones, and I imagine in the summer it's good for wading, swimming, and kayaking (there is a tide, so you lose the beach sometimes). Seems to be a good place to bring a bike, too. The ferry runs often, but it can get expensive if you plan to go back and forth for other adventures. I'd say, bring your groceries and plan to stay put (there is a small grocery store that has enough to get you through, too). We gave this stay four thumbs-up for comfort, location, and value.
This lovely home was the perfect place for the 5 of us and our dog. We loved every minute of it. We stayed up very late watching the stars and woke up early to enjoy coffee on the patio....to be able to take advantage of every second.
We don't want to leave. We've only had 4 days but we are so rested and revived it feels like much more and we want to stay longer.
Everything from the very convenient ferry, beautiful views, excellent communication from the owner, quaint beach, perfectly appointed kitchen, comfortable furniturnishings, cozy beach blankets, and much much more this place is perfect and we will book again for sure!!!
Now forget all that I wrote because we don't want anyone to hear about this secret gem we've found. We LOVE it and want it all for us. 😃👍👍
We are coming back,

Grandma's beach house is full of unique little treasures, you cannot find them all at first glance.
There were pictures of Grandma and her husband to Grandma and friend floating in dingy.
The doll house sets it all off, what a perfect touch. The little jars of agates made for great conversations.
The home was filled with love and memories of the past.
The kitchen is fully stocked.
Two living rooms, was perfect.
My dog enjoyed the walks on the beach and large front yard area to play ball.
The home was everything I had hoped for.
Our family of 5 plus our 2 dogs spent 2 relaxing days at this charming beach house. We arrived on Thanksgiving and easily found anything we needed to complete making our meal. The weather was cold and clear and the view of Mt Baker was the best. The stretch of beach in front of the house is really beautiful. The layout of the house is very good and seems larger than the sq footage would suggest. The TV is older with no HDMI port, so we couldn't access movies saved on our laptop, but we really didn't mind. The owner was very pleasant and responsive. We would love to come back!
The forecast called for rainy and dreary weather but it ended up being rather nice for most of our stay. Our group of 12 rented 3 homes on the island and this one was by far the best. We loved walking along the beach and sitting on the rocks by the water with our friends when they stopped by for a tour of our weekend home. Beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home, this place was hard to leave on Sunday afternoon. We will definitely be back!
Great little cottage on right on the water, great view and quite comfortable. Had a very relaxing time, and the house is well equipped (especially the kitchen).
Casino, 7 minute ferry ride then approximately 6 miles. Hike to the top of Lummi Mt. and get an absolutely spectacular view. There are quite a few walking trails in the area. Bring your hand held GSP and go Geocaching. It is a great 'scavenger hunt' for adults and children.
