The villa is very well appointed with large kitchen, living room and bedrooms with private bathrooms.Nicola is a very gracious host. He even provided 2 bottles of his own wine from his vineyard.

Home away from home

Nicola was an excellent host. He was very helpful and at the same time very discreet. The pool was a hit for our kids and the house had everything we needed and then some. We would stay there again for sure.

Very enjoyable stay

The location is quiet and surrounded by nice landscape. You are ideally positioned in the middle of nature and 20 km from the beach / 10 km from Lucca. Firenze and Sienna are approx 1h travel which is very convenient for the visits. The house is very well furnished and with a great swimming pool. It is to share with other inhabitants but it is largely big enough. Nicola is providing good advices and is available to help whenever necessary. In summary : a perfect location for a relaxing stay in beautiful Toscany !

Nicola was very welcoming and flexible about our arrival time. We had no need to contact him during our stay as all was fine.The property is very clean, with a good layout. The kitchen is well equipped and everything worked well. The bathrooms are spacious as are the bedrooms. Excellent air con. Very useful blinds for near black out and the mosquito nets on all windows made us very happy (barely a bite)!Pool was clean and large however, we did feel slightly overshadowed by the larger house on the plot. Only negative was that we missed the views of the Italian countryside we have had at other properties due to the set up of the property.

I'm very happy that enjoyed your stay here. The other house you mention is the one I live with my wife, it is not larger, it is approximately 90mt from the Villa and is completely surrounded by tall trees and is barely visible to guests. Regarding the landscape: Italy is very varied and is therefore difficult to define a typical italian landscape. This is the typical Lucca landscape: gentle green hills covered with pine and holm oak woods above and olive groves and vineyards below.

A stunning modern property in a beautiful location

Although this property does not look very interesting from the outside, it is perfectly designed, very well furnished and is situated in a huge simply beautiful garden with a large private salt-water pool. The owner Nicola was generous, providing fresh fruit, vegetables and wine for us when we arrived and responded quickly to any questions we had about the house and the area. My only comment would be that the property does not have air-conditioning.

A wonderful place for a family holiday near Lucca and Pisa

We stayed for a week here at the end of May. We are a family of four with kids aged 9 and 13. We loved it. The location is stunning, the house is great with wonderful views and is well equipped with everything you need. The pool is great and the fact that it is a saltwater pool is much better than a chlorinated pool. Nicola is a fantastic host, always willing to provide a restaurant recommendation or give advice on how to get to places. Lucca and Pisa are close and Florence a train ride away from Lucca. Whilst Nicola is on site and around if needed, he is the perfect host as unless you need something he leaves you to your privacy. The pool is solely for your use. You do need a car but the roads are easy to drive and loads to see close by.Thank you Nicola!

The pictures don’t do it justice

This is a beautiful villa set in large grounds with a huge swimming pool, where is deep enough to jump in, but with a shallower ledge the whole way around. The salt water is much better than chlorine. The children enjoyed the pool so much it was difficult to get them to leave the villa. Inside the air conditioned villa is very well equipped and comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Lucca is a delightful, friendly town with ample cheap parking and plenty to see and do. We much preferred it to the bigger tourist destinations such as Pisa. Only thing to note is that, if going in summer (particularly at the end of a heat wave) take plenty of mosquito repellent and watch out for wasps.

Caro Peter, grazie per i tuoi commenti e sarò felice ti rivedere te e la tua famiglia presto. Purtroppo il caldo eccezionale e la mancanza di pioggia per un periodo così lungo ha comportato oltre alla sofferenza di molte piante anche l'arrivo di tante zanzare e vespe in cerca di acqua. Tuttavia le reti antizanzare a tutte le finestre della camere e dei bagni aiutano a difendersi da esse. Oggi dopo un'abbondante pioggia sono sparite.

Prachtige woning op prachtige locatie

We have never celebrated a holiday in such a beautiful home as this one! Very modern, neat, spacious. With a beautiful view at the rear and a spacious garden at the front. The pool was lovely: regularly cleaned, nice temperature and sufficiently large. The owner was very helpful with any requests or questions. The area surrounding the house is perfect for a bike ride or walk. Towns as Lucca and Pisa and the beach are very close for trips. The holiday home had all imaginable facilities. Excellent air conditioning, excellent kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. One small minus was the power of the wifi. It was just enough to open a news app or email, but not enough to stream anything. The owner indicated that this will be improved. But this little something was absolutely no hindrance for us to come back to this lovely place again!

Perfect zomverblijf

Heel aangenaam verblijf, rustige locatie midden in de groene natuur. Heel ruim huis, elke slaapkamer met eigen airco en eigen badkamer met wc is echt een zalige luxe! Heerlijke chille tuin met zalig zwembad en genoeg schaduwplaatsen. Verschillende zitplekjes rondom het huis, genoten van elke hoek. Nicola was de perfecte host, spreekt vloeiend Engels, heel discreet maar altijd makkelijk bereikbaar.

Traumhafter Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Ferienhaus mit großem Pool

Wir haben Anfang Juni zwei traumhafte Wochen in dem im äußersten Westen von Lucca wunderschön in einem Talkessel gelegenen Ferienhaus verbracht. Wir haben es sehr genossen im von Weinstöcken und Olivenbäumen umgebenen schönen Garten mit großem Pool zu entspannen. Das Haus ist großzügig und modern. Der Vermieter Nicola ist sehr diskret. Es stört überhaupt nicht, dass er auf demselben Grundstück wohnt. Vielmehr hat dies den Vorteil, dass alles sehr gepflegt ist und der bei Bedarf kurzfristig helfen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Traumurlaub in der Toskana

Nicola ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber, der immer bemüht war, dass wir uns wohlfühlen und gute Tipps parat hatte. Das ganze Anwesen ist einfach traumhaft. Ein sehr großzügig geschnittenes, klimatisiertes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Der Pool und die gesamte Gartenanlage sind perfekt. Wir haben gleich für das nächste Jahr gebucht:)

Très bon séjour au calme

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette grande maison de plein pied. Les chambres et le salon sont climatisés, c est tres appréciable. La piscine est tres grande , possible d y nager. Nicola est à l écoute et est tres réactif si besoin. Il faut compter 30 minutes pour aller sur les plages de Viareggio. Il y a un barbecue à charbon, plusieurs tables pour manger à l extérieur et des transats autour de la piscine avec 3 parasols. Une belle adresse proche de Pise.

Sehr angenehmer und hilfsbereiter Vermieter wohnt nur 80 Meter entfernt. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Quartier gut beschrieben und sehr sauber. Pool wird täglich gepflegt und ist absolut privat nur für die Gäste. Lage außerhalb und sehr ruhig in Weinbergen und Olivenhain. Lucca und Pisa ca. 15 km entfernt. Kommen gerne wieder.
