NUEVA - Establecer a poca distancia de la playa de Kalami Bracklesham está en el lugar de vacaciones perfecto para una familia que quiera estar cerca del mar. Dormir un total de siete bungalow recientemente reformado, ofrece todo lo necesario para preparar su propia comida con comodidad durante su estancia.
Desde el hall de entrada se encontrará en el amplio y luminoso salón de Kalami que se enrolla alrededor de la zona de comedor y cocina. Con una puerta del patio grande se puede ver a través del jardín de buen tamaño mientras se come su desayuno casero, almuerzo o cena. O, por supuesto, simplemente sentarse con las puertas abiertas con un vaso de algo burbujeante y disfrutar de la noche de verano.
La cocina está totalmente equipada con horno, vitrocerámica, frigorífico, congelador y lavavajillas. En el área de servicios públicos se encuentra una máquina de lavabo y lavado adicional.
Kalami tiene tres dormitorios, uno doble, uno con dos camas que se pueden convertir en una doble y una habitación con literas con un doble que la litera de abajo. Entre las habitaciones hay un cuarto de baño con ducha en el baño y más adelante en la casa acaba de pasar el cuarto de servicio también hay una sala de ducha con WC. Con fácil acceso desde el jardín que hace que sea fácil de limpiar después de windsurf abajo en la bahía.
Se puede aparcar su coche fuera de la carretera en esta propiedad a lo largo del camino de entrada o hacer uso del garaje si lo desea.

Lovely bungalow

Kalami is a lovely bungalow in a great location. Brilliant for the beach & local restaurant. Comfy beds and all the essentials provided. We had a great holiday. Our only improvement would be an upgraded TV with teenagers being able to access our Netflix/YouTube in the evening and a new microwave the coating inside is coming off. Minor improvements it's a great holiday let. Thank you

Great location

The house is in a great location for the beach and lovely surrounding areas. The property suited us for the week but there were a few things that could have been addressed as they have been raised in other reviews. The garden was unkempt front and back with a number ants nests and weeds. The front gate was falling apart in 2 places. The property inside was fine apart from the twin bedroom where both beds were incredibly uncomfortable with one making noise every time you moved and one where the springs appear to be making a noise when you turn over! A curtain over the patio door at night time would be an improvement.

pleasant stay in Bracklesham Bay at Kalami

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our first visit to this area. We did however need to contact Barnie your representative on two occasions with electrical problems, which were solved by his advice on the telephone and by the visit of a plumber. Both calls were dealt with promptly and efficiently. It would be nice to have blinds or curtains at the patio doors to close at night time, but the back garden is not overlooked. The back garden was very pleasant for relaxing during the hot weather. No criticism, but you had to step up over the bottom of the front door and a bigger step down into the back garden, which was a problem for one of our party incapacitated with a bad knee. We are only mentioning this for future hirers with similar problems.

Great Location for a family holiday

The house was delightfully furnished, spotlessly clean with all the facilities and utilities needed for a lovely holiday. It is close to the beach so an easy walk for a 3 year old. Excellent all round, we had a great week.

Last minute weekend

Booked very last minute and was so happy with the bungalow. It was steps away from the beach where we enjoyed some lovely long walks. The bungalow was very spacious and clean. Would definitely book again.

Long ish stay

We Renyard Kalami for 5 weeks whilst a house purchase went through in the same road. The house was great and allowed us to continue life as normal. Great location and well presented. For a long stay there was a serious lack of clothes hanging space (none) but if staying for a holiday the place is great. My mum has booked for next year!

Totally Disappointing

The property was advertised as newly refurbished and luxury and it was far from either! The whole property was grubby and tatty and had definately not been newly refurbished. The settees were stained and filthy and the windows had not been cleaned in a very long time. The kitchen surfaces were dirty and all the pots saucepans, kettle, crockery and utensils were disgusting and had seen better days. The kitchen bins were battered and dirty. The beds were extremely unconfotable. There were no wardrobes at all for hanging clothes and there were no 'luxury touches' whatsoever! Not even a lamp in the living room let alone a TV in the bedrooms. The bathroom sink kept blocking. Considering they allow dogs and had tiled flooring there was no descent mop and bucket supplied. The garden was very neglected and the garden furniture shocking. The garden fencing and gate was very poor and all the fence panels rattled in the slightest breeze. I had to go out and buy cleaning stuff, throws for the settees and saucepans! Not what you expect to do on holiday. After complaining the word 'luxury' was removed from the property description. Outrageously overpriced for the standard provided.

Our disappointment!!

We booked Kalami at relatively short notice ( our family holiday in France had been cancelled due to CV-19) and were grateful to be able to find somewhere but .. it was very expensive. We have been staying in three + bedroom bungalows in Bracklesham Bay for several decades, though never before through Henry Adams. When booking I questioned the price which was nearly £500 more for the week than any other bungalow we had previously booked. It looked as though they were capitalising from CV19 but Laura told me that it was the same price as last year!! So obviously were expecting superior accommodation! However you will see from the notes that there were some problems. The new doors were not a good fit, they rattled, and our grandson was trapped in the bathroom because the lock failed. HA had to send out someone to replace it! The Internal door to the garage was also faulty though that was not repaired whilst we were there, it was extremely difficult to lock and unlock! The shower in the bathroom did not work at all and it was not mended until five days into a seven day holiday! There is a VERY dangerous step from the lounge into the utility/shower area and our granddaughter was fortunately not badly hurt, just upset, shaken and a bit bruised when she was being carried to the shower to wash the sand off her feet (because, being considerate tenants we did not want her to spread sand in the bungalow!) and they had a very alarming, and frightening fall because the step is disguised! If she had been seriously hurt that would have been HA’s, or the owner’s, liability!! There were several other, more minor, issues that we did highlight to HA and so we courteously requested a refund to ‘reflect’ the difficulties we had experienced. However, on behalf of HA Laura refused to do so. She said they did not give refunds ‘unfortunately we are not able to offer and reductions post stay’! However, we had pointed out the problems immediately, spoken to both the handyman and the cleaner (to whom we were supposed to report any problems and they both agreed with the various concerns that we raised. We could also have emphasised how dangerous, and heavy, the d/w door was because it dropped down suddenly and we think the spring had gone, but we decided just to be very careful with it. We have behaved reasonably and raised relevant, and serious, concerns but do not believe that HA has been equally fair with us. Maybe we need an independent adjudicator? We have obviously retained all the relevant documentation. HA indicated the price was reasonable, we have already shown details of a similar rental property, for next year, at considerably lower price than their charge for Kalami this year. Also we could not have known of any of the issues with Kalami before we were actually staying at the property!! So considering the facts: 1) a considerably above average rental for the property, which we only paid because it was short notice and our plans for our regular trip to France had been cancelled due to CV-19 2) significant, and dangerous, problems with the facilities within the property. We have been fair and reasonable in our assessment and obviously we would not be inclined to recommend, or rent, via HA again.

We stayed at this property last year and it was in very very good condition this year it was not so !! A little tired may be !! We were very disappointed with the cooking trays/ oven/ dishwasher and the plates and the glasses they were discusting we had to clean the oven out go and bye a dishwasher cleaner and put that through wash the plates and glasses before we used them the trays and dishes were un cleanable !! not what you want when you turn up for a 4day holiday break !! The bungalow is ideally situated by the sea close to everything so providing the vendors sorted the cleaning side out I would recommend it !!! Apart from that we had a nice time !!

Disappointing

This property has the potential to be so much better than it is. It took us a while to find it, as the gate with the house name on it has fallen off/been removed so it has no identity. Sadly the property is poorly maintained and could do with some time spent on it both inside and out. The garden looks unloved (although the grass was cut whilst we were there) and there was builders debris left around outside the property too. Inside, it looked like the cleaners rushed through their work. On first glance the inside of the place appeared surface clean, but actually it could do with a thorough deep clean (dirty kitchen cupboards & tableware, food on underside of wall units, shards of glass on floor & cobwebs on the walls to mention just a few of the issues). The bathroom door was swollen and was very stiff to open further than half way, and when you did manage to push it open, made an unpleasant screeching noise. The shower room was left unused by us as you had to pass a large patio door and back door which were uncovered so there was a lack of privacy. Also the hallway outside the shower room was stacked with an ironing board, airer, hoover, mop & bucket etc - all very unsightly. These issues and others didn't warrant us calling the 'emergency' number, but overall they made our stay less enjoyable. After all, if it could have been easily rectified, why wasn't it done prior to our arrival? On the other hand, the inside of the bungalow was bright and airy which was nice. The lounge/kitchen/diner was a good size, had nice tiled flooring and the sofas were comfortable. The furnishings & textiles throughout were of good quality too. As per the description there are 3 bedrooms, with the layouts exactly as mentioned. The bedrooms also contained a chest of drawers in each room, but no wardrobe/hanging space - not very convenient. The beds were however comfortable and the bedding appeared clean. The bungalow is very close to the beach (it's beyond the houses on the other side of the road) and its just a short stroll to a nice local eatery (Billys). When the tide is out, the beach is lovely and sandy, and you can walk to the Witterings. If the owners can sort out the niggles, Kalami would be a nice place to stay.

Week at Kalami July 2018

This was our second year at Kalami . Bungalow is in ideal position and is very well equipped . Close to beach and Billy’s on the Beach . We discovered way to walk to East Wittering this year without going all way on pebbles ! Teenage grandchildren love it so it must be good . Only thing I would say is the garden furniture has seen better days and perhaps s visitors book so people could let others know where nearby pubs / shops etc are such as Tesco Express in East Wittering .

Fabulous week!

Spent a fabulous weeks holiday at Kalami. Accommodation very clean and comfortable and everything we needed was there. Location was excellent - walking distance from the beach, local shops and restaurants. Great walks along the beach - would definitely book here again.

Lovely weekend at Kalami

We had a lovely weekend at Kalami. The property has been recently renovated and is very well presented. It's location is also fantastic, just one road back from the beach. In terms of constructive feedback (and while the weather wasn't good enough for us to use it!), it would have been nice if the law had been mown and the garden tidied. Other than that, just great.
