The house was simply awesome. It was extremely clean and the atmosphere was very inviting.
The location of the house was very good. There were shops, restaurants, and bars in walking distance of the house. The parking and access to the house was great. If I return to Memphis I will chose this house again. Our family felt extremely comfortable and at home. Everything a person needed in the house was in place. The house made the Memphis extremely enjoyable.
We enjoyed this space. Having the patio was very nice. Everything was clean, plenty of room to spread out and lots of nice furniture and art. Definitely a plus to have two bathrooms. The back outside stairs are kind of scary. And we were a little bummed not to have access to explore the third floor even though that wasn’t even an option 😀 All in all a cute neighborhood and house and we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.
This home is just that - a VERY comfortable home. I can’t think of anything that you’d need that wasn’t there. Beautifully furnished in traditional style. Luxurious, fragrant bed linens and towels. Host/ hostess very gracious and eager to please. I inquired if there was a hand held shower fixture . They installed one for me !
Location is somewhat commercial on a busy street, but great. You can park in front or in the back, via a shared driveway to the left of the house . If you have mobility issues be forewarned. The steps from the street to the lawn are steep with no rails. Better to pull up the driveway . There is a sidewalk in front of the house leading to 2 much easier steps. The steps in the rear are steep and metal, but they do have handrails. The beds are “ high ,” but I saw ( and used 2 ) at least 3 stepstools . Very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Couldn’t have been happier with our Thanksgiving stay.
I loved this historic house and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we forgot we needed.

Very Poor Place To Vacation
The Place was fine. The owner, who was never around, was ok. He lives out in S. California, so you rarely saw him.
The person in charge was absolutely terrible; very nosey, pried
into your private matters, a bad situation. The local police had
to be involved once. The best part, was the next door neighbors. They were kind and informative when you needed to ask them something important; both retired. Needless to say, I would not stay there again NOR recommend it to anyone. It was a very long, miserable 3 months for me........YET,
I left the home as spotless as what it was when I arrived and I
made sure that I had witnesses who could attest to that~
I think it was great for long term stay and I’m so glad that they allowed us to stay for the summer. I think that it could use more updating but it was great!
Check in was easily. I got a phone call and was told how to get in. Once we got in, we couldn’t believe our eyes. You don’t need anything!! Everything you need is already stocked and waiting on you.
