Cuando vienes al Texas Hill Country, ¿por qué no quedarte en ... bueno, el Hill Country? Texas Star está en los mismos 20 acres que el Guesthaus en White Tail Oaks y The Hideout, pero fuera del alcance de la vista. Esta cabaña se encuentra a unos 15 minutos al noroeste del centro de Fredericksburg, cerca de la comunidad histórica de Cherry Springs.
Los huéspedes disfrutarán de una espaciosa y abierta cabina privada con una cama king size, área de descanso donde encontrará un televisor con reproductor de rayos azules pero sin recepción por cable.(recuerde, esta es la razón por la que se dirigió al país), y cocina americana. Wonderful and peaceful experience

The property is lovely with complete seclusion. It has utensils, microwave, mini fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker. The hot tub and jacuzzi were really nice and well maintained. The nights out there are super dark (I'd recommend bringing a good flashlight) and the skies are glorious! We're already looking to plan another stay at the property! Fantastic and recharging getaway.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was exactly what we needed to get away from work and kids for a long weekend. It's far enough off the beaten path that you feel secluded and private but you're close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock for days out there. The cabin was cozy but not tight-quartered and felt very relaxing. Many birds and deer can be seen right from the porch, adding to the seclusion. We loved our stay and would certainly want to come back.

We Keep Coming Back

This was our third trip to this cabin in the last 3 years. It's the perfect getaway to escape civilization without being more than 20 minutes from it. The hosts are super-friendly and VERY quick to respond, and the cabin itself is just perfect and private. Lots of birds to watch, wildlife to view, and even a couple of friendly cats from time to time to visit on the porch. And the night sky... wow! We'll keep coming back.

This is a great property! The cabin was well secluded. We saw wildlife and enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings, listening to the birds. The cabin has no WiFi or cable tv/antenna, so it was nice to disconnect. The jacuzzi hot tub wasn’t working correctly, but we were still able to enjoy it one night (even though it wouldn’t heat up like we wanted).

The location was beautiful and we were excited to get to just spend some alone time together. We got a little turned around with what cabin to go to when we first arrived. Our GPS took us straight to the Guest Cabin instead of the Texas one we were in. Once you’re on the property just follow their signs, not the GPS! Thankfully the property manager answered my phone call and we resolved the issue. Make sure that you bring Coal or something to start a fire on the grill. They provide pretty much everything else for the pit, but it had rained so we couldn’t use the wood around us to start a fire.

Perfect Cabin

This was our third time staying at this cabin, and it is our favorite place to vacation out here. It is so peaceful and pretty. Could not ask for a better cabin for relaxing and turning off the phones.

Texas Star Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were looking for a secluded place so we could look up at the stars at night. This was wonderful. The wildlife was a bonus. The cats are very friendly and loved to be pet. The cabin is well stoked with items you would need for a short getaway. I have attached one of the many pics I took of the Milky Way.

Anniversary Get A Way

We had a wonderful time enjoying the Quite Country atmosphere. The property was very private and had wonderful views of deer and birds. We definitely enjoyed our time and will be back again one day.

Good and bad

Upside: I had the best night sleep of my life! That bed was perfect. I felt more rested after a night of sleep than I can ever remember. Downside: the hot tub was not working the entire weekend, much to our disappointment. There was no shower inside and the tub inside had a bad smell when we first used it. There were some other issues which I've forgotten about, which were overshadowed by the hot tub. Since my wife refuses to book any accommodation without a hot tub, we were overall very disappointed with our stay.

Would not stay here again

Decided to try a different cabin this year and that was a mistake. Cabin was dusty everywhere, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed for awhile it looked like. Didn't use jacuzzi it had yucky stuff coming out of the water vents. After a cleaner and 3 more runs. It was gross. The air conditioner vents had mold on it. We won't ever go back to this cabin. The area is so beautiful out there it's a shame it's not kept up.

A Peaceful Stay

Texas Star was the perfect answer to our need for peace and quiet. We loved the cabin, the wildlife that live on the property and the clear sky which allowed us to see so many stars! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Amazing cabin

We LOVED the Texas star. It was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Next time we will book one more night to get all the benefits of the amazing place. I love the cats that greeted us at the beginning of our stay. I looked in the binder of instructions for the weekend and saw something about cat food but couldn't find any. Given that it was after hours I called and left a message. I'm an animal lover and wanted to make sure all their belly were full if they were keeping us company all weekend. The host texted me and was very quick to respond and tell me that they would get us cat food by the next day. The cabin itself was absolutely amazing. Perfect for a couple trip. We loved waking up to the deer in the yard. Having coffee and a maker was perfect for us. We weren't sure if utensils would be included so we got some on our H-E-B run but come to find out EVERYTHING we needed was provided in the kitchen. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit (burn ban) or the grill but we took advantage of the quiet serene atmosphere and napped whenever we could on the amazingly comfortable bed. The hot tub was fantastic and all the stuff was provided for us. We loved watching the sunset from the back porch in the hot tub. The host was quick to respond when we told them that the jets didn't work in the bathtub but that was minor compared to the amazing thing I just talked about above. We will be back in the future and look forward to our next visit.

Perfect little cabin

Everything about this cabin was wonderful! Loved the outdoor shower and hot tub. Bed was super comfy as was everything about this place. I recommend bringing your own firewood like we did if you plan to use the fire pit. We also brought our griddle to fix breakfast and that worked perfect. Lots of kitchen supplies, but there is only a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot inside. We did dinner on the grill and it was great. There are lots of sweet kitties here, which we enjoyed very much, but if you don’t like cats or are allergic, you might not like that. Great place to stay and we will definitely be back again.
