What makes this Condo unique
From the Owner: Beautiful area, affordable and easy to reach. We enjoy snowmobiling and West Yellowstone has the best trails we could find that do not require a guide. Must have guide in park but we prefer snowmobiling on our own and this area has miles of beautiful trails that are well groomed and safe. See wild animals from condo -- bison, deer, elk and fox in the back yard!

West Yellowstone condo
Oour stay was excellent everything we needed was there great location
Family Vacation to Yellowstone - wrong time of year!!
1st of all do not plan a trip to Yellowstone after 10/15. I wish I was told this before I booked. Yellowstone is very weather dependent and it snowed/sleet the whole time we were there. Every day we had to hope they had parts of Yellowstone open so we could enjoy the park.
The condo was clean but very dated and the living room furniture was not comfortable and barely accommodated the four of us. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and this one did not have many amenities for cooking like spices other than salt and pepper. Pots and pans were mix matched and wore out. For 5 nights and four people with two rolls of toilet paper is ridiculous. No bathroom soap or shampoo. Bedrooms don't have blackout curtains and the parking lot light makes the rooms feel like daytime - very hard to get a full night of sleep. Beds were great but the pillows were worn out. Fireplace in condo but no wood provided.
The property owners should have cautioned us at the time of booking about the park opening/closing daily based on weather.
Future guests, please reach out with questions!
It is not the responsibility of the property management company or the home owner to educate a traveler about their trip. When we are asked questions however, we are more than happy to answer them.
Everywhere you travel, all the time, is weather dependent. It is my opinion that if a traveler does not research the area they are traveling to in order to obtain pertinent information, there is no excuse. The internet provides any information you might desire to have for any location you might travel to.
This property is not "dated". All appliances are new in the last four years, clean and in great working order. Travelers can see from the photos that this condo is so cute! The home owners have gone out of their way to make it feel cozy and like a little cabin. It's a cabin theme! Most folks stay in this condo so they can be near the great outdoors and most travelers enjoy the cabin theme.
On the listing for this condo we state more than once that we do not provide wood for the stove or condiments. Both of those things can be gotten in town. Some folks are discussed by the thought of leftover condiments and some are not. So, we ere on the side of caution as condiments can go bad, we really don't want anyone getting sick.
As for the furniture in the living room, it is comfortable. Saying otherwise is just being mean, Yellowstone National Park closing and making a traveler mad is no reason to make up reasons to be unhappy with the unit it's self. The couch is fluffy and the recliner is in great condition. The couch seats three, one in the recliner, one bench, and one wood chair in the living room. I think four people should be able to find a place to sit.
One more thing, Yellowstone National Park might have closed during the stay of the guests who wrote this review but there is still plenty to do in the area. In fact I personally had a conversation with these guests on the phone and listed to them several things that might occupy their time. Yellowstone National Park is 2.2 million acres situated in what we call The Greater Yellowstone Eco System which is about 12 million+ acres of PUBLIC LAND. West Yellowstone, MT has hiking trails out the wazoo! In town we have the Bear and Wolf Discovery Center! We also have guide services for just about any type of out door activity you can think of, all of whom guide inside and outside of the Yellowstone National Park boundaries!
Come to the Yellowstone area!
Overall OK. Cookware dated and on the cheap side. Cobwebs on a lamp in the living room. Our unit was on the 2nd floor and it was a pain to drag things on open stairs. Bed was comfy but linens mismatched and tired. Probabably would not stay here again for the $$.
We enjoyed our stay at this property.
Nice condo close to Yellowstone
We enjoyed our stay very much. Close to Yellowstone, only 15 minute drive from the West entrance. It’s an older property that is very well kept. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, we could not enjoy the deck or the yard because of the mosquitos. Also construction
Is going on at the back which spoils the views a bit. Overall, we definitely recommend.
Bed linens and pillows in sad shape. Kitchen needs desperate updating. Quiet surroundings, nice decor. Overall, disappointed in condo.
The area offers easy access to Yellowstone Park and the thousands of acres of surrounding Forest service lands. Accessible less than 1 mile from the home, the Gallatin National Forest offers abundant wildlife and hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, and exploring. With spectacular mountain lakes and rivers that create a myriad of fishing and boating opportunities, there's something for every outdoor enthusiast.
The town of West Yellowstone has its own charms, with both summer and wintertime activities, live theater and movie theaters, dining, shopping, outdoor and wildlife educational programs, the Rendezvous ski/bike trails, and a museum.
