We had a spectacular stay at Cindy's place. It was as described on VRBO and Cindy was very communicative. The house was very clean and well appointed. Plenty of space! The outside backyard was an oasis! The pool was great along with the covered patio. The location is perfect. Very close to downtown Palm Springs in a very quiet neighborhood. Can't wait to stay there again.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It was even better than the photos…4 of us flew in from Canada and had an amazing long weekend, enjoyed the pool and spa with gorgeous patio ambiance, great privacy, easy access to restaurants etc. The house was cool and clean, nice kitchen, comfy beds. Host was very easy to communicate with, and let us check in early. I absolutely loved the place and hope to come back someday. Recommend 10/10!!!

Overall, it was a good experience and a great location for our annual girls’ trip to Palm Springs. However, I do wish there had been more flexibility with early check-in, as we were only allowed to check in one hour early. Additionally, some of the pool furniture could use updating, and the beds were not the most comfortable. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay

Property was delightful for our stay. Pet-friendly, gated yard reassured us when we went out. Very convenient to everything Palm Springs. The hosts presented the house accurately online. I could go on and about how pleased we were.

Palm Oasis

Four of us stayed for a golf trip and the accommodations were perfect. Great location, beautiful pool and hot tub and plenty of room. Would absolutely stay there again.

I was disappointed there was a charge to heat pool and hot tub and was not noted in description. Also, the house is in the flight path and a jet would go over every 3 to 5 minutes. I suppose they could not mention that the fans in the house did not have remote control to adjust them. The house was clean the lighting was a bit sketchy plenty of room for a party of four.

Kathy may not have reviewed the listing carefully, as we clearly stated the pool and spa heating fees there. Additionally, during the summer, guests typically don’t need heating, so it wouldn’t be fair to include that cost in the base price. We always strive to provide the best experience, and for a home of this size, our rate is very reasonable considering the high maintenance costs 🙏

Amazing pool!

We loved the pool especially and the backyard was so private with enough seating for all 8 of us. The rooms were great and we all felt very comfortable and had what we needed provided for us. Overall a great stay and location.

Exceptional experience in every way! Even better than advertised. I have stayed in roughly a dozen short-term rentals this decade. This was easily the best. The 4-BR house is gorgeous! The photos are accurate. It's right in the heart of Palm Springs on a quiet residential street, close to downtown and the airport. Everything worked perfectly. The beds were comfy. The back patio was scenic and peaceful. The kitchen is well-equipped. The communication with the host Nadya was exceptional throughout. She kindly granted us early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost. One caveat about fees: Know before you go! The listing is clear that there's a daily surcharge if you want to heat the pool and/or hot tub. What's less clear is the "additional guest fee." I was surprised we were charged 260 for that, hidden under "host fees." Not sure whether that gets triggered by 4 guests, like we had, or 3 guests. We inquired about it, but ultimately kept the booking because it was still great value for the total price. We're glad we did!

Surprise Fee

I stayed at this property with a coworker to attend a work conference in town. We picked this location partially as there wasn't an additional charge in the listing to heat the spa. On the day of arrival, the owner texted me and asked if we wanted to use the pool or spa and that we need to pay $75 a day to heat the spa and $125 a day to heat the pool. This caught me by surprise.

Hi Deane , thank you for staying at our home. In Palm Springs, it’s common to separate the nightly rate from pool and spa heating. Including it would make the price much higher, and during the summer most guests don’t need pool or spa heating.

We spent the weekend at Cindy’s house. It was as described and she was very responsive, clear and was available at any time. We were able to bring our dog that was very much appreciated. The kids enjoyed the pool very much and we all like the entry book so we could leave a little note. Would book again.

TERRIBLE! The advertising for this property was fraudulent. We chose this property specifically, because it promised an arcade/game room. They even went as far to say “rare find.” When I asked owner said there is a chess board. The AC was controlled by the owner. When we arrived it was 104 and during our stay it topped to 107. When we brought the temperature down we noticed the temperature went up. When I text the owner, she said she was controlling it, so we were subjected to her control of AC. She lied and said, they had just turned it on before we arrived. Even if that is true, you know you have guests coming, so why turn it on right when you’re guests are about to arrive. Then she lied and said, we had it off because the week before they experienced cool weather, I checked and that was a lie. She lied to us saying the temp needed to be regulated because it would compromise the AC and shut down. Why are you renting a house that can easily malfunction? One of the rooms was a hot box, no AC. When I asked about the hot tub, for night use, that was advertised as part of amenities she said there was a 75 fee. Her ad said no hidden fees, but there were HIDDEN fees. Pool was dirty and the controlled the lights. One of the rooms was dirty with roaches. I provided all the evidence to Vrbo, but they don’t seem to care as well. Finally, a random person entered the side yard while my young daughters were exposed. We felt watched the entire time. Vrbo needs to vet properties better.

From the beginning of her stay, Beatriz expressed concerns regarding the spa and pool. We explained that heating the pool and spa is not included in our nightly rental rate because, during the summer season, it is generally not necessary. Including these costs in the standard rate would be unfair to our summer guests, as it would increase the rental price for everyone. The fee for pool and spa heating is clearly stated in our VRBO listing and is also communicated again during check-in. We provide several entertainment options for our guests, including a chess set, card games, and a grand piano. At this time of year, Palm Springs experiences very high temperatures, often reaching 104°F. To help prevent the air conditioning system from overloading or shutting down due to the extreme difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures, we use a temperature management system. Unfortunately, this appears to have been misunderstood. Prior to check-in, we also informed the guest of the scheduled days when our pool maintenance and gardening staff would visit the property to perform routine upkeep. This is our response to the concerns raised in the review.
