Private oceanfront villa with the best snorkeling on the island with huge coral heads right off the beach! Awesome diving on other side of reef. All linens and beachtowels included. Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed and a balcony overlooking the Caribbean sea. There is one double-bed upstairs and one double-bed downstairs. Tandem kayak, spices, most condiments and hairdryers for your use. Phone for incoming/local calls.
Quiet and relaxing side of Cayman. No traffic or busy streets. Book your Sting Ray City trip on a catamaran or glass bottom boat or book a dive trip with Red Sail Sports which is located at Rum Point just 4 miles away. Or rent a jetski or have one of their famous Mudslides!! There are several great restaurants minutes away and a small grocery store just a couple of minutes from the villa. 7 Mile Beach and George Town are 30 minutes away if you're in the mood for shopping, nightlife or great fine dining.
You won't find a more relaxing place to stay on the island. The beach is very private and has the most beautiful sunsets.....it truly is paradise!!

I am a paralegal and my husband is a commercial real estate developer. We have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren and a westie named Piper (our 4th child).
After several years of vacationing in Cayman we decided we needed to purchase our own little piece of paradise. We enjoy the snorkeling right off our beach and the quiet, relaxed side of the island. Although it is only a 30 minute drive to 7 Mile Beach for great dining and shopping (we too have great dining on 'our side of the island'). We hope you enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we do!

We loved walking out of the villa and onto the beach. The coral reef was perfect for beginners to snorkling, lots to see. Our family if 5 had a great trip.
This home is amazing! As soon as I rounded the corner of the property and saw what was going to be my view for the next week, my face broke into a smile that wouldn’t quit until our plane departed. This was my fourth trip to Grand Cayman and by far my favorite. A lot of properties “oversell” themselves, this property undersells. If you are considering this property, contact MeLinda and just make the reservation, you won’t be disappointed.
This property is located with 5 other stand alone buildings. There is space between them, so you don’t hear the neighbors on the other side of a wall. It is a two story building with the master upstairs, balcony and the most glorious ocean views. The house contains all the necessary items to make it feel just like home. Linens, floaties, ice chests, spices, and lots of kitchen items. It truly feels like a home, not just a rental property.
The location, for us, was perfect. Away from the hustle, but close to Rum Point and several other restaurants. We stayed an entire week and only had to share the beach twice with a neighbor. 90% of the time we had the beach to ourselves. We spent a whole day just snorkeling and playing on the two man kayak. I also found a nice collection of sea glass.
I truly recommend the colorful Captain Herman's fish shack on the East End. Best fried grouper I've ever eaten.
My first day back I rebooked same week next year. I’m counting down the days!
We were 4 friends celebrating a milestone birthday year and this villa was the perfect home base on Grand Cayman. This island is an excellent choice from the East Coast - with short direct flights and enough time left after travel to find the house in the daylight hours! You will need a rental car for this home but there are good deals to be had and it's part of the experience to drive on the left hand side of the road. Interesting to say the least! Watch out for the chickens and iguanas!
Upon arrival we were greeted with the most spectacular ocean front view - our own private little beach area - a large patio with loads of comfortable furniture and loungers - even a basin with fresh water to remove the sand from your feet. Melinda provided us with excellent information on the house and the area prior to arrival so we were well equipped to enjoy our time to the fullest.
There are excellent restaurants a short drive from the villa - we especially enjoyed Tukka - not to be missed for the views, the food and the atmosphere. Right across the street is a wonderful little art gallery with great deals on local crafts and jewelry. Don't miss it!
We enjoyed lunch and drinks at Rum Point (mudslides!) and the Kaibo Yacht Club - meals are on the pricey side but we didn't have one bad experience anywhere we went - the quality was consistent and delicious.
The villa is appointed with comfortable furniture - the kitchen is well supplied although a couple of good, sharp knives would be a welcome addition - the wifi worked like a charm as did the AC, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Previous guests have generously left many condiments and other non-perishable supplies and we did the same. We enjoyed using the supplied floats in the ocean - did not get out in the kayak and unfortunately we had some pretty rough water so our snorkeling wasn't as great as other reviews have stated.
We took a private charter with Bayside Watersports to StingRay City - do NOT miss this experience - had an authentic Caymanian meal cooked for us by Chef Rosie Parris - villachefcayman.com - and enjoyed a day of massages with Phyllis of Blissful Touch Mobile Massage.
After a day exploring the 7 mile beach area we appreciated the quiet retreat that is the north side even more - it's a completely relaxing environment and the ideal home base from which to explore and enjoy the wonders of Grand Cayman.
Thanks for sharing this island paradise - we hope to return someday!
We a group of 4 adults stayed here 2 weeks in January 2015, what a wonderful vacation. This home is located on the quieter side of the island which we all preferred. Melinda was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning of my booking and right through to the end, providing us with so much helpful information.
Being able to snorkel right in your backyard was a dream. The house has everything you could dream to feel like your right at home. All you really have to do is bring your bathing suit and your set. We all found the beds and furniture to be extremely comfortable. We cooked most nights and found the kitchen well stocked.
All I can say is we would return in a heartbeat!
Thanks Doug and Melinda for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Amazing place!!! Very clean on a beautiful beach. My family had a wonderful time. My son's 25 ,23 and 16 said the snorkeling out front was second best to scuba diving. They saw puffer fish , squid , and so many tropical fish. The reef right out the back door is amazing. We loved the privacy and being away from it all. The house has all the amenities you will need and the master bedroom is huge. MeLinda was a great source of information and a wonderful hostess , through all of our e mails. She answered all of my question. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back.
We spent a week here in early March 2013 (sorry for the delayed review) with our whole family (young adult sons). It was perfect! We were so happy to be on the north side of the island. Very quiet and less touristy. There were days when we never left the house, just relaxed in the hammock or beach, went snorkeling, ate at home (very well stocked kitchen). Loved Rum Point! Beautiful beach, great beach bar, and the restaurant is a wonderful spot for dinner. There are a lot of great local spots nearby to eat: Kurt's Corner (behind a bar just before you make the turn on the north shore road. Water Boyz?), Tukka, Kaibo(great for lunch on the beach), Water's Edge for breakfast. Enjoyed exploring the island, stopping at public beaches for snorkeling, rented a boat for a day and explored Sting Ray City, swam with the dolphins and rented jet ski's. All of the information left by the owner was great. The house has everything you need. Plenty of towels and supplies. Extremely clean house. Very peaceful and relaxing spot. Owners were very accommodating.
You will need to rent a car. Great information from owners for shopping.
We will absolutely return to Grand Cayman. Beautiful, safe island, people are warm and friendly.
