Pool area is great with an amazing sea view, fantastic BBQ area, nice seating area with a sea view. The villa was perfectly clean, fridge stoked with fresh fruit, soft and alcoholic drinks, milk, bread, eggs, everything you need for your first night! The host, Vas, is brilliant, booked a table for us at a local restaurant for a birthday meal and he arranged for a cake. We had issues with getting the hire car and Vas managed to sort it out.

Completely wonderful

The outlook from the property, and sense of space were wonderful, but the sunsets were incredible - each evening we all just soaked it up and tried to stop time.Being met by the owner was so lovely, and the tour and history and local recommendations were really helpful.We all relaxed into this place straight away, and it felt like a home away from home.Night swimming under the stars was another family favourite.

Lovely Villa in Thymira

Vas was great to work with and the owner who greeted me was so gracious. she waited for me when I was late arring late. She had fully stocked the kitchen with everything fruits yogurt, eggs, cheese, bread, olives, cucumber, peppers, greek bread, homemade cheese triangles and of course some. The villa was exactly like the pictures, it was beauti.

Beautiful place and incredibly friendly owners

The stay was amazing- the inside is large and outside beautiful. The welcome package was lovely and Vas was incredibly responsive. Do need a car to see the beautiful beaches etc. We took a 1.5 year old and it was a little difficult with steps and stairs but as long as you’re vigilant it works.

Wonderful holiday

Stayed at Sunset Villa for a week with my family of 6 adults and 3 grandchildren. We all had such a lovely time at the villa and didn't want to leave. The location was quiet with wonderful views of the sea and a great swimming pool. We were close to many beaches and supermarket and shops were just a short drive away. Communication with the owner was easy and he was always very helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay for an unforgettable holiday.

The property was lovely and the team who manage it was helpful and very friendly. we would definitely recommend hiring a car because of the properties location. It was remote enough, quiet, peaceful and the views breath taking. It had everything that you could need to make your stay comfortable. We would 100% recommend it.

Really a great family house

We - 10 adults and one 8 month baby - have had the most wonderful time at Sunset Villa. The house and surroundings were just grest - the beach/coast very near by was splendid for snorkling. We had two rental cars which allowed us to do quick shopping only a few minuts away and drive to the Metro in order to see Athen/Akropolis. We can for sure recommend the house and will be happy to visit/use Sunset Villa for another holiday at Athens.

And what a sunset!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Sunset Villa! We arrived late at night and in the morning, the view from every window and the numerous terraces, literally took our breath away! Blue, blue, blue! It was simply stunning and I can’t imagine ever tiring of it. The photos don’t do it justice. The villa itself had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay and the pool was large and luxurious, with several seating options and stunning planting and paving surrounding it and throughout the garden, which is very well maintained. The Villa is also very well situated - not far from Athens, a relatively short drive to Sounion, and plenty of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and fabulous sea swimming opportunities very near by. Finally, the communication, flexibility and responsiveness of Vaz and his team was second to none! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we’re lucky enough to return to mainland Greece.

Amazing Family Holiday

The Villa is even better than the pictures suggest. We were a family of nine adults and two children and there was more than enough space for everyone over the three floors. The Villa would comfortably sleep 12 adults over its 6 bedrooms. Each floor has its own kitchenette and living space so there is lots of different living spaces for a large party. The three kitchen areas in the Villa are fully equipped with everything needed for your stay. Our hosts had even arranged a travel cot, pushchair and high chair for a baby travelling with us . The air conditioning in the property was invaluable during our stay as temperatures reached 42 degrees celsius. The whole property is immaculate inside and outside. The outside and pool areas are beyond words , immaculately maintained and the views have to be seen to be believed - just beautiful. We spent the majority of our holiday by the pool. Our hosts had thought of everything and the welcome pack provided by Ava on our arrival was a beautiful extra. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Villa to others. Thank you Vas and Ava and we hope to get back some time soon.

Fabulous Villa

My family are just back from a wonderful week at this villa approx 45 minutes south of Athens in Thymari. After many years' of villa holidays, we all agreed this is the nicest villa we have ever stayed in. Everything about it was perfect. Communication with Vas prior to arrival was perfect and Vas dealt patiently with all our pre visit concerns. On arrival we were welcomed by Mrs Eva with the warmest hospitality and a fridge brimming with food. Thank you. The villa itself felt less like a holiday villa and more like a wonderful private home which we were allowed to use. The owners seemed to have spared nothing in creating a lovely environment. The villa is spacious and being high up not only has wonderful views but a lovely breeze in the morning. Beaches and rocky coves are accessible by foot or less than 5 minutes drive for swimming in the clear sea waters and local restaurants are available everywhere. We felt very rested and welcome and hope to visit your lovely villa again. Thank you Vas and Mrs Eva. Very best wishes Philip

Lovely villa with great pool

The villa is exactly like the pictures-very nice inside, especially the main living area and separate apartment upstairs, and a great pool area, where we spent most of our time. But the pictures don't do justice to the view over the Saronic Gulf which are glorious. with stunning sunsets every evening.

LOVED IT

everything was perfect and smooth. The handover for the property was fast and the host went above and beyond with accommodating us. The pictures don’t do the villa justice. It’s up on a hill with lots of privacy and beautiful views. The only thing is it’s not close to Athens and if you do not rent a car it is a little impossible to find your way around.

It was a superb experience!

We had a wonderful time! The hospitality was great! The house is beautiful and everything you need is there even a welcome food package which was very much appreciated with 3 little children. A good stay

The house and the pool area are really good. There is a magnificent view to the sea. The kitchen was well stocked. There is a lovely restaurant/taverna with great food close to the villa. Because there were so much mosquitos it should have been nice if the host had informed us that we need to buy the mosquito repellents put put to the socket. An other surprise was that it was impossible to get a taxi.
