Nice house in good location

Nice clean house in a lovely quiet location. Everything you would need on a holiday and a short walk into town of Houlgate, which is lovely. The owner and lady that look after the house were very helpful to us. We would visit again

Pleasant house in nice area

This is a lovely little house in a peaceful area, it is well kept, clean and has all you need. The owner is very easy to communicate with and quick to reply to messages. This is the second time we have stayed here and would happily visit again

Nice house

The house is little but all you need is there. You can walk to the center of Houlgate what is a nice place to visit. We will book it once again.

Great location, house needs attention

A very nicely located property at walking distance from the nice Houlgate centre. First Floor seems to have had some renovation giving it a fresh and modern look. Ground Floor needs serious attention in bathroom and kitchen. Equipment is dusty and sticky which made us not cook at home at all. Living room could be made more spacious when putting in a smaller table for 4 people max instead of 6. When entering the property a damp smell came through. Extra fridge in garden is nice but needs solid cleaning.

Poor communication and extra charges

We had an issue with not being able to connect to the WiFi, as the manager spoke no English we didn't bother with it and just used our own data. unfortunately after we left we have been charged for breaking/disconnecting the hub An email from the owner said we broke it the night we arrived even gave us the time it stopped working but he never informed us of the fault untill after I queried the charge. I don't mind paying for something I broke but unfortunately this feels Iike a set up This was a great place to stay but you need to speak a little french to stay here to avoid unpleasant surprises

Nous étions deux adultes et deux enfants (4 ans et un bébé) la maison est agréable et correctement équipée et propre avec un très grand jardin idéal pour les enfants. L'espace est correct pour une petite famille! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour avec un petit bémol sur l'estimation de la distance jusqu'à la plage: les 15 à 20 minutes relèvent ont plutôt ressemble à une bonne demi heure option sportive (avec les petits en poussette), d'autant qu'il y a quelques marches sur le trajet donc difficile en poussette. Je ne connaissais pas bien la topographie des lieux mais il faut anticiper pour aller à la plage un certain dénivelé avec une belle montée sur le retour au gîte. Nous ne sommes pas de grand sportifs donc avec les enfants et l'équipement de plage la voiture a du être systématique. Avec pas mal de difficultés pour se garer après une certaine heure. Heureusement le coin a d'autres points d'intérêt que la plage mais si vous venez pour ce point précis il vaut mieux être informé et s'organiser en conséquence!

logement très agréable. Vraiment bien équipé. Le jardin est vaste. Nous avons gouté d'y manger et d'y faire la sieste en toute tranquilité. A proximité du centre et de la plage même a pied. Expérience à renouveler.

Fijn huisje in een rustige onmgeving

Het huisje was netjes en schoon. We hebben er als gezin een heerlijke tijd gehad. De Wifi was goed. De slaapkamer met stapelbed was wel klein en warm. Op de bovenverdieping was het erg gehorig; elke draai, kuchje en snurk werd gehoord. De andere twee slaapkamers waren verder goed. Mooie grote tuin met grote heg eromheen, dus voldoende privacy. De omgeving was rustig. Op wandelafstand van een mooi en schoon strand. Wel moet je terug weer heuvel op. Niet veel parkeerruimte bij het strand.

Kleines Ferienhaus nahe Zentrum und Meer

Houlgate ist eine schöne Stadt am Meer. Zentrum und Meer sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Objekt liegt in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage, deren Pflege nicht ohne Geräuschkulisse stattfindet. Die Verwalterin des Hauses vor Ort ist ganz besonders freundlich und herzlich und gibt einem sofort ein heimisches Gefühl.

Nous avons ete surpris de trouver refrigerateur congelateur et machine a laver dans un cabanon de jardin plus que poussiereux. Le frigo pas nettoyé nous balancait un relent de poisson. Inutile de dire que nous ne l avons pas utilisé. Pas plus d ailleurs que le lave linge. Sehr gute Wahl für Familien zu fünft

Das Haus ist klein, aber durch drei Schlafzimmer sehr gut für uns geeignet. Als Familie mit drei Kindern findet man alles, was man braucht. Sehr sauber und ruhig, in einem Ferienhaus-Park direkt an der Ortsgrenzen, großer Garten zum spielen. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar mit Waschmaschine und großer Wäscheleine. Die Schlafzimmer haben viel Charme, aber das Zimmer mit dem Etagenbett ist wirklich nur für zwei jüngere Kinder passend.
