Huge 2 bedroom at North Beach with pool!

This first floor two bedroom one and a half-bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Living room features 65” smart tv with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows.

Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park.

Enjoy a short walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill.

Free off-street parking for 2 vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests.

There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.

Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

Wonderful!

Large, beautiful first-floor condo in the Barracks with great view of local park from rockers on the front porch. Location is an easy walk to the beach and to the lighthouse. Be sure to rent a golf cart for getting around! We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The Barracks is a very cool place to stay! The apartment was beautiful and spacious, beds were comfortable, bedding was luxurious, theAC worked perfectly, and having that pool (though it's small) was a godsend in 100 heat index all week. The bedroom blackout curtains were such a great touch for someone who has insomnia, too. There were a few very small details that could use improvement - the dish soap was empty, one of the toilet paper holders kept coming apart, and the kitchen tap leaked - but overall it was a lovely accommodation. The walk to the beach was a little hairy at times due to traffic, but it was short, so not a huge deal. I do regret getting a golf cart - parking was very costly, you can't drive it on the main roads, and we barely used it. But that's just a lesson learned. The host was very responsive and helpful, too. The Barracks definitely ended up being a comfortable and beautiful place to stay for our time on Tybee!

This rental was super cool! You could feel the history of the place. Beautifully restored. Heating swimming pool was lovely!Found a stain on the mattress pad, cleaners came next morning to fix this. However the pad was no replaced, but rather just replaced the fitted sheet. I thought it odd to be sleeping just on a sheet (however the bed was UBER comfy)

Wonderful Stay!

Our time at the Barracks was enjoyable! The location was an easy walk to a few restaurants, the lighthouse and North Beach. The rockers on the porch offered a peaceful place to read in the evening or early morning, and the unit was large with two comfortable sitting areas. The heated pool was perfect way to end the day after biking the island, or even riding on the beach at low tide. The property was restored beautifully.

Relaxing stay

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay at the Barracks. The host was very attentive and the condo was well stocked. There was a rowdy crew staying in some of the other rooms as it was St. Patrick's day parade weekend. We still had a great time.

The Barracks, revitalized.

Clean, large, and spacious unit for my family of 3. Easy to access and communicate with the property management group. Walking distance to beaches and has heated pool. Highly recommended and will book again if on Tybee.

Beautiful place, not ideal for working remote

Loved the condo/apartment and location. Next to park and 5 minutes from beach. Place has pretty much everything you need. Only downside was internet speed, we had to leave our stay early because Zoom calls kept dropping and VPN access was spotty. Apparently this was due to island wide internet issues, but just know you will not get a refund if you leave early.

Lovely setting

We had such a wonderful stay, as did our family that joined with other units. Sitting among the oak trees, overlooking the park, gave us such a respite. Interior spaces were spacious. Decorated very tastefully. We will definitely rent again.
