A pretty self contained stone cottage, with use of pool

Situated on the edge of this authentic village, within 5 minutes drive of the cosmopolitan Port Andratx & nearby beaches at San Telmo and Camp de Mar. A perfect base to explore The Traumuntana Mountains on foot or bike, the culture of Palma or just chill by the pool in the shade of the almond trees.

A self contained 'casita' was fully renovated in 2015 and well appointed with 'fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, full electric oven and ceramic hob, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. A large bedroom with 180cm bed, (can be 2 singles) bathroom with large shower, sitting room & well equipped kitchen. Large unheated pool in owners garden next door. Locked storage for bikes / other kit if required. Linen and towels included.

Situado en el borde de este auténtico pueblo, a 5 minutos en coche del cosmopolita Puerto de Andratx y las playas cercanas de San Telmo y Camp de Mar. Una base perfecta para explorar las montañas Traumuntana a pie o en bicicleta, la cultura de Palma o simplemente relajarse junto a la piscina a la sombra de los almendros.

Una "casita" independiente fue completamente renovada en 2015 y está bien equipada con "nevera, lavavajillas y lavadora, horno eléctrico completo y vitrocerámica, cafetera, tostadora y hervidor de agua. Un amplio dormitorio con cama de 180 cm, (puede ser 2 individuales) baño con amplia ducha, sala de estar y cocina bien equipada. Piscina climatizada grande en propietarios jardín de al lado. Almacenamiento cerrado para bicicletas / otro kit, si es necesario. Ropa de cama y toallas incluidas.

Perfect

We really enjoyed our stay in Andratx at Jackies beautiful place. The rooms are very nice and lovely decorated. The garden next door with a terrace, a barbecue grill, a pool and much more is perfect to relax. There are also living a very nice dog and wo cats. Andratx is the perfect place if you are looking for a not too touristic place from which you can easily go to all nice places. We would love to come back and can really recommend this place

A casita on the outskirts of Andratx

Unfortunately no mention is made in the particulars of the significant early morning noise levels in close proximity to the bedroom window of the casita (the municipal bins are emptied at 7 am, and the workmen from the workshop, accompanied by their dogs yapping and barking, load their vans at 8 am). Nor do the particulars mention that the only access to the garden is via the road. The casitia has been renovated to an exceptional standard, with original features being retained so far as possible, and enhancements made to turn it into an extremely comfortable and modern home in sympathy with its historical origins. The property is incredibly well equipped for a rental property, probably the best I have ever come across; the furniture, the soft furnishings, the linens and the kitchen equipment provided are all top quality, with thoughtful basic provisions provided in addition. The outside space is stunning and in an enviable position, the garden is beautifully maintained, as is the pool area, and the dining area with high quality furniture is delightful.

Sehr fexibler Check-In und ein schön eingerichtetes und renoviertes altes Steinhaus, die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und aufgeschlossen. Toll hergerichteter Garten mit sauberem Pool. Der Wachhund auf dem Gelände gegenüber bellt nachts gelegentlich, ansonsten ruhige Lage und das Zentrum ist fußläufig erreichbar. Würden immer gerne wiederkommen!

Super Lage, schön ruhig

Wir waren nur wenige Tage in Andratx und haben die Ruhe auf der wunderschönen Anlage sehr genossen. Hier hat man noch das Gefühl in Spanien (bzw Mallorca) zu sein. Die Apartments sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Relaxing Short Stay

My girlfriend and I were looking for a relaxing 4 night stay and that is exactly what we got. Very nice property, clean and tidy with a big pool. Jackie was very easy to contact and the information provided was helpful. And the dogs were great and very well behaved!

Een rustieke woning aan de rand van een woonwijk, alles in huis aanwezig, hebben het hier heel erg naar ons zin gehad, wel auto nodig in plaatsje niks te doen. De haven is dichtbij daar is het vrij levendig. Vanuit hier met auto veel omliggende plaatsen bezocht, Palma Nova, Santa Ponsa, Costa de la Calma , Pequera., Magaluf, El Arenal en Alcudia. Kortom huis is een aanrader.

Mooie woning met alles erop en eraan.

Huis ligt gelegen op rustige locatie in Andratx. Dichtbij gelegen stranden: sant elm en calle cap falco. Tuin en zwembad buitenom te bereiken. Parkeren van auto soms zoeken. Honden wel wat aanwezig bij zwembad.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in Andratx

Wir haben 6 traumhafte Tage in der Finca verbracht. Alles war bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der Pool und der Garten sind großartig. Den Gasgrill haben wir auch verwendet - sehr lecker. Der kurze Weg (5m) über den Gehweg zum Eingang in den Garten sind nicht der Rede wert und haben uns nicht gestört. Abends kann man am Hafen oder in der Stadt toll essen gehen. Jackie war zu jeder Zeit per WhatsApp erreichbar. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt - gerne wieder!

Super location, très bien conçut. Il ne manque vraiment rien, grâce à la propriétaire qui pense à tout. La terrasse est parfaite malgré le fait de faire le tour par la rue, mais ce n'ai pas si gênant. Jackie à la gentillesse de nous mettre à disposition des bougies ainsi que quelques produits alimentaires et des vins de pays. Sa chienne Beth est vraiment très mignonne et très demandeuse de caresse. Le seul bémol serait les chiens de la rue en face qui à notre gout était un peu trop bruyant... Dommage!!! Nous gardons l'adresse et la recommandons!

Très bonne location avec propriétaire attentionnée

Location aménagée avec goût en respect de l'architecture locale. Très bon équipement et propriétaire aux petits soins (beaucoup de produits de base et même plus, ce qui évite d'acheter pas mal de choses). Petit inconvénient : le très beau jardin avec piscine partagés avec la propriétaire ne sont accessibles qu'en passant par la rue. Location à recommander !

A slice of real life Mallorca!

Nice holiday flat in a Spanish style

Far away from typical tourist centers in middle of the people of andratx. From the location you can reach quickly nice beaches like es camp de mar and st.elm. There is some noise in the morning in the street (cars and carpentry). A parking place is 100 meters away for free - a good bakery as well. Jackie has some animals (2 dogs and cats) - if you use the garden - you should have no fear for them. They are lovely and do nothing.

Great Spanish hideaway

A great hideaway in a local Spanish area , the cottage is perfect for 2 with everything you need for a relaxing breakaway. The pool area is great for lazing the day away with only one other cottage you don't have to fight for a lounger and it's nice and quiet!!. A car is a must so you can get around and dip in and out of the tourist areas as you wish, if you like quiet and seclusion this is the place for you .

Sehr schön renoviertes altes mallorquinisches Steinhaus

Zuerst waren wir begeistert, aber dann ....... Der Wohnraum hat kein Fenster, nur eine Lüftungsöffnung zur Straße. Die Küche hat nur ein Fenster in der hinterne Ecke. Wir mussten also bei Lampenlicht frühstücken. Die Küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünche offen. Zum Bad und zum Schlafzimmer führt eine steile Treppe hinauf, mit ungewöhnlich hohen Stufen. (Älterte Urlauber sollten dies bedenken!) Zwischen Schlafzimmer und Bad geht es zunächst eine Stufe abwärts und nach einem Meter wieder eine Stufe aufwärts, was besonders im Dunkeln nicht ungefährlich ist. Das Schlafzimmer ist hell und freundlich mit schöner Aussicht. Das Bad mit der großen Dusche ist modern und zweckmäßig gestaltet. Die Wohnung war gepflegt und sehr sauber. Zum Garten bzw. zum Swimmingpool kommt man nur über den Bürgersteig zum Nachbargrundstück, also kein direkter Zugang. Abgesehen von diesen kleinen Unbequemlichkeiten haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Nicht zuletzt auch wegen der außergewöhnlich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieterin.

English, but in love with Mallorca and planning spend time travelling back and forth. C'an Masingo was purchased in 2014 to give me a ' home in the sun'. There are two old cottages as well as the main house on site, and with a 'property' background I set about restoring and renovating all three, using an excellent firm of local builders.

Why they chose this property

A year ago the houses were in original condition, and they sit very nicely on the edge of Andratx, with a rural outlook to the rear, yet within 10 minutes walk of the bars and restaurants in the village square, and a few minutes drive to the fabulous Port Andratx.

Andratx is a real, living community, a little detached from the buzz of the better known holiday destinations but a perfect base to explore, to walk, cycle or just lie on the beach..
