The hosts were great, communication excellent and really helpful when I sent a message to them. Really could not have been better.
Amazing views from the flat, right on the coastal path.
Flat clean and tidy with everything you need. Thank you
This property is absolutely stunning. The views are to due for.
The property is spacious and decor is cute for the location.
Beds are very comfortable.
Balcony is a positive bonus on top of an already positive space!
We enjoy our stay in the apartment very much. View from the kitchen & lounge was stunning, and there was a small balcony where we could enjoy the sea view, dinner and sunset.
Both bedrooms were spacious; parking was easy plenty of parking space next to the building; Liz is very friendly and helpful, very good communications and fast responses before and after arrival, we left our coats in the apartment when checking out and Liz helped to post them back to us. Thank you
Stunning views of the water, fun nautical decor, very clean. Liz was very responsive and helpful.
Take note that you must bring your own linens. I missed that under the Covid disclosures. Liz arranged for us to rent linens for £20 so it worked out.
An amazing place, the views and location need to be seen to be believed. Beautifully presented and staring out to sea and watching the birds at breakfast time was very special. Owners were very helpful and John, next door, was also extremely helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was that we only had three nights, could have had three weeks! Hopefully we'll be back for a longer stay soon.
Great place to stay as a base for exploring Dorset. The property is set in a dead end and far from a main road so was very peaceful. All the basics you need were available and the incredible sea view makes it a super place to stay.
Great comfy apartment in a super location to explore the Dorset Coastline.
Amazing sea view with coastal path right on your doorstep for walking.
Easy check in and communication , would definitely stay again .
We had a great time at the apartment, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, we were blessed with clear blue skies and wonderful sunsets, more than we could have hoped for after the storms of the previous week.
Had a fantastic few days in Portland. Property was great and it's situated perfectly to head out along the coastal paths. The views out to see are absolutely beautiful. We had a sunset on one evening which was absolutely magical!
The property was very clean with plenty of room and easy to park. The views were incredible - when the clouds & rain cleared
for long enough to see them! Unfortunately I chose the wrong week to visit, but I did manage to see a couple of sunsets.
I can definitely recommend it.
interesting area we hadnt explored before, weather very kind, the break was just what we needed, only problem for us was the stairs as we both have slight mobility problems, but it was worth it for the views.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Perfect views/sunsets
Wow is the best word I can use to describe the location of this apartment,I have to admit when we drove through the estate and parked outside I did wonder what the hell I had done and wondered if we would still be there tomorrow.
As they say ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’,a fantastic apartment, the walks and the sunsets and especially the view from the balcony were out of this world we will definitely be going back.
Lovely apartment with fantastic views, with (almost) everything you need (couldn’t find a potato peeler!). It is very well and tastefully decorated and in a quiet and peaceful area. We spent a lot of time on the balcony which is a great sun trap, although sometimes it did get too hot. However it was 2 minutes downstairs to the cliff top where you’d enjoy the same views.
When I first found the apartment on the website it didn’t have WiFi but after contacting Liz, she decided to install it and we found it very useful for staying in contact with the family, etc. So thank you for that, Liz.
The only slight issue was that I missed the requirement to bring our own bed linen and towels, etc, until the very last minute, but that was probably my fault.
Due to family circumstances, we almost had to cancel, so glad we didn’t as we had a wonderful stay. Thanks.
Apartment very clean and well equipped for all your cooking/ washing needs, if required. Very quite and coastal walks can be started from your front door.
A wonderful little flat. At first, the stairs and unpacking the car was tedious but the view and apartment soon made up for it. With 2 small children, there was plenty on the island to do and with Weymouth so close, it was a great base to explore the area. The flat was very clean and well equipped, and did I mention the view?! The sunsets were spectacular, and our boys loved looking out over the water through the binoculars, checking out boats and 'looking for whales'. Brilliant all round.

About the host
Hosted by Liz Bishop
We have visited this part of the world for over 20 years, and decided to buy a holiday home as it is perfect for a place to 'get away from it all'.
Why they chose this property
The second floor flat is on the very edge of an ex naval estate, but it fronts straight onto the cliff with stunning ocean views. The area is very quiet, and perfect for those who want to walk, bird watch, cliff climb etc.
What makes this property unique
The sunsets from the balcony are absolutely fantastic - a peaceful evening with a glass of wine to 'while away the time' - what could be better.
