About this property

Charming Cottage, Fresh Eggs, Friendly Pets AND Pet Friendly!

Stunning sunsets, views from the cottage of pastures with a sweet horse that loves treats, on our historic Virginia farm. Our cottage, located in a private setting, with an outside hot tub with beach towels and a Solo stove for easy warm evening fires. The Cottage has a king size bed, fresh linens and towels, fully furnished kitchen, beautiful bath with a jetted tub, free WIFI, & central air and heating.
History abounds with a Civil War incident occurring right here at the farm ask Betsy or Ed we are happy to share.
To get you started we supply half a dozen eggs from our chickens and a baked treat for your coffee. There is coffee in the cottage too. If you would like eggs to take home they are $2.00 per dozen.
We are Dog Friendly there is a $20.00 per pet per night fee, and they MUST be crated if you go out without them. Ravens Roost has in residence 3 dogs all rescues, 3 cats, 1 horse and 100 chickens.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This property is beautiful and Serene, The hosts are gracious and very kind. My pup was welcomed by the hosts dogs which were a delight. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had all the amenities one might need. Perfect stay! )

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage! The peaceful setting here was just what we were looking for! We ate breakfast each morning while looking at the mountains, priceless! The location was convenient to so many attractions and restaurants. Ed and Betsy are great hosts!!! We also enjoyed learning about the history of this property and the surrounding land.

Bodhi (my dog) and I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful and perfect for exploring Luray. Ed was a warm and welcoming host, and although we didn’t get to meet Elizabeth because she was away on her own vacation, we truly appreciated them sharing their lovely cottage with us. We’re so glad we chose it and would happily stay again!

Awesome little cottage run by very nice people! Perfect for our couple's weekend away. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tob was fun too. We had a great time with our dogs, the tasty fresh bread and eggs were a nice addition as well. We'll definitely be back!

This was the perfect cottage for a weekend getaway! Beyond picturesque setting. We were greeted by the owner’s dogs and had fresh eggs and bread waiting for us inside. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the birds, loved watching the horse visit the field at night and especially loved seeing the bright stars every night. 10 out of 10, we will definitely be back to Ravens Roost!

This is the cutest place! It is so relaxing to look out to window and watch the horses running around and the mountains! The hot tub was a treat after a day of hiking and the hosts were amazing! I really enjoyed staying there and chatting with them. I highly recommend this place.
