Super cosy and beautiful apartment, very well decorated, with A/C (with heating option) available, this is truly the perfect spot for 2!
It is ideally located in the heart of the city, literally 2 mins away from Rossio square, where you'll find all kinds of services (train, tram, metro, restaurants, etc...) and all the important sites at walking distance.

Charming atmosphere in typical Lisbon neighbourhood. Perfect for couples, city break. Well appointed and provides the perfect place to explore all that Lisbon has to offer. It's in a traditional building from the beginning of the XX Century, with a quite charming architecture, on the 2nd floor with a small balcony and around the corner is the famous Rossio Square. A 1 minute walk takes you to downtown and lots of historic places. The apartment have all kinds of perks, such as cable tv, wi-fi, stove, microwave, toaster, fridge, freezer, expresso machine, iron, hair dryer, heating, and all the other appliances we usually have at home. Towels and bed linen are provided. Also we keep coffee and tea at the apartment, for your use during your stay. In the apartment you will find 1 Double bed, Dining seating for 4, Lounge seating for 3 and a baby cot.

We are here to provide all the advice for a pleasant stay, and will do our best to help in anything you may need!

All monuments, attractions, restaurants, little typical cafes, Museums, transports, taxis and the 28 Tram are within walking distance right outside your private apartment. A perfect base to explore the magic of this romantic city!

The convenient location to the train station, metro or taxi also allows you just as easily to visit the surroundings like Cascais, Sintra, Belem and Parque das Nações.

In less than 2m walk from the apartment, in Rossio Square, you will find Metro (green line) and Rossio Train Station to take you to Sintra.
In Figueira square, also 2m walk from the apartment you have several buses and the TRAM 15 to take you to the beautiful district of Belém, where you can visit fantastic monuments such as "Torre de Belém" "Padrão dos Descobrimentos" and "Mosteiro dos Jerónimos".
In Martim Moniz square you can take a ride in the popular TRAM 28 and visit all the historical districts of Lisbon.
Also in Rossio you have Taxis and a bus stop where you can take the Aerobus!
Better Location...really impossible!

Important aspects to take into account:
- Check-in between 9pm and 11pm has a fee of €25. Between 11pm and 1am (after 1am we do not check in), the fee is €35.
- Despite being very central, the apartment is at the top of a hill, to get there you have to climb a steep street and some stairs. The apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator.
- At the moment the building in front of ours is under construction, causing some noise during the day (until 7pm) and between Monday and Friday. Please take these aspects into consideration when booking this unit.

Nice flat, comfortable bed, warm water…all is there. Juan was really kind and helpful and I was honestly informed about the construction site at the front of the building before. It turned out to be noisy, even on Saturday. The surrounding was dirty and not really welcoming. Ok for some days…

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie ist großzügig, hat ein schönes Bad und die Lage war ideal, mitten im ursprünglichen Lissabon. Der Kontakt zu Juan war hervorragend und unkompliziert.

Once inside the apartment it was excellent! however the 2 flights of stairs are very Steep. Taxi's do not come down the road in front the apartment! To get from Rossio square to the apartment, the walk is very steep and include long stairs.The area around the apartment is in transition.The cleaning lady picked us up in the square and helped us carry our bags into the apartment! we were so thankful for that !! Central location!

Great stay!

Thanks to Juan and Joana we had a wonderful time in Lisbon. We arrived at 20h30 and were warmly welcomed by Joana. The appartement was very nice, clean and well located near Rossio station. Morever Juan and Joana gave us lots of advices on where to eat, to listen fado or to rent bikes. We really appreciated our stay and will probably back soon!

Wonderful flat for two people

This is a wonderful little flat to stay in the heart of Lisbon. Juan was very easy to communicate with right from the start (when we made the booking several months in advance). Even when we had multiple flight changes and had to extend our stay, it wasn't a problem. He was incredibly accommodating when we weren't sure of our exact arrival time and met us in a convenient location to show us where the flat was. (It is in one of many little alleys in Lisbon and would have been very difficult to find without his assistance.). He even helped us get our luggage up the hill and two flights of stairs to the flat and had tons of information on the sites of Lisbon and how to get around. The location was great and very convenient to the things we wanted to see in Lisbon as well as shops and transportation. Mostly we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, but it was also very easy to take the train from Rossio to Sintra. The big hill up to the flat from Rossio Square was a little exhausting every night, but we managed and it was worth it. (That's just the way it is in Lisbon!) And it was very safe. The flat itself is exactly as pictured in the listing! And it was spotless when we arrived. Very quaint and very comfortable - it was actually the most comfortable bed we had during our month long stay in various locations throughout Spain and Portugal. We took advantage of the washing machine and clothesline (just off the little balcony). It was a great place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of Lisbon.

Great access to fun places with lots of cardio!

Property is typical of small place with a great renovation. Sadly it does lack the more homey touches of an individual owner. All that is listed is there. Could be cleaner and there are a few annoying maintenance items that need to be fixed. It is as if those who manage it never go in to really look it over 😃🤔. All that said this property is very well decorated, appliances are top notch and the area is quiet depending on who rents the unit above you!!!!

Cozy place with great central location

Cozy place with all that you might need for a few days. Great bathroom with towels and toilet paper, kitchen with all utilities, even coffee capsules. TV and air conditioning, comfortable bed. The only 2 small inconvenients were the fact that the persons that stayed above our apartment was a bit noisy and the fact that the street itself is on a hill (but this did not affect in any way our good opinion about the place itself). The owner left a lot of travel books and maps that are very helpfull and gave us a lot of info.

Beautiful apartment

Juan was very helpful explaining the highlights of the area and when any questions came up during our one week stay he was prompt in responding. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There's a clothesline outside the window and balcony....we found it handy. To be noted....the balcony is narrow and not the type to sit out on...typical of the area. It's a short walk to public transit and the buzz of Lisbon. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Modern flat a few minutes' walk from Rossio

This is a tastefully modernised apartment which the photographs reflect accurately. Clean and well maintained, it's in a quaint neighbourhood only a few minutes' walk from Placa Rossio (now renamed Placa Dom Pedro IV). Amenities are good, and the bathroom is excellent. We made extensive and continuous use of the internet, listening to UK stations, and found the wifi performance more than adequate. Travellers who stay longer than our five days might find the external clothes lines convenient. The owners provided good customer service, sending us reassuring documentation in advance and meeting us promptly when we arrived. They also booked a taxi for our departure at 5 a.m. and confirmed that they had made the booking. We dined at two restaurants in the immediate area, both of which we would recommend. Floresta de Santana is a family run business, and Solar 31 is larger and better known. Reservations are advisable in both cases. Attractions which we particularly enjoyed were: - the castle (if you don't want to walk up, don't bother with the overcrowded tram number 28 for which there were long queues. Use bus 737 which leaves from Placa Figueira). Splendid views, and a green and tranquil ambience. Surprisingly, it was easy to get a seat outside the coffe shop. - the Culture Centre in Belem. After a hot and crowded tram ride from Cais de Sodre Metro station, the restaurant here was an air conditioned delight. Terrific modern art gallery too. - Sintra, of course. We had lunch at Dona Maria on a terrace with a view over towards the Atlantic. This restaurant is a little away from the maoin centre, and so was not crowded. And don't miss the Moorish castle. Use tourist bus 434 which joins the sights on a circular tour. - a stroll down the Avenida da Liberdade, a wide tree lined boulevard. - the highly professional bands in the Praca do Comercio. In sum , we loved both the apartment and the location, and will certainly be returning. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Perfectly situated central location-all amenities

I have no hesitation to recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in Lisbon. The location is centrally situated with a walk of about 3 minutes to Rossio metro and easy access to bus, train and trams. Even with its close proximity to a busy major square the apartment is very peaceful and relaxing, away from the madding crowds! Contact with the owner was easy from the outset and he was keen to make our stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. The apartment however was the real gem of our trip-spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and contained everything we required including a good wifi connection. There was nothing extra that we needed-a real home from home. An additional bonus is the proximity of the oldest bar in Lisbon that serves the cherry based liqueur ginja-a must to try! It is popular from morning till night with tourists and locals alike.
