The apartment was charming. Both bedrooms and the main room had balconies. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. There is a mini mercado right across the street which was handy for coffee, fruit, and picnic supplies. The couple who run the market say their English is better than their Portugese. The famous 28E tram goes right in front of the apartment and it stops about a block and a half in either direction from the apartment. Is was not crowded to ride it home from town in the evening. We found wonderful food all around us. We highly recommend the sharing menu at Sal Grosso Sao Bento just up the street a couple of blocks across the street from the Parliament building. One of the bedside lamps was inoperable, but other than that it was lovely and I would book it again if back in Lisbon.

Nicely appointed flat - clean and comfy beds. Excellent, central location to explore Lisbon. Host was very responsive - probably the most responsive I’ve experienced. Note they do not provide dishwasher or clothes washer detergent.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great neighbourhood in Lisbon, close to many restaurants and cafes. The host was caring and responsive, even advising within minutes of local clinics to address a minor medical issue during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer!

Perfect location. Master bed was broken! Was fixed after the first night. Showers are only hand held and quite low. In general we found all our rentals in Portugal lacked or were very poor in amount and quality of bathroom amenities provided.

The apartment was as described. Conveniently located with lots of little restaurants and shops. Right on the route of Tram 28 with the closest stop being less than a block away. You can pay right on the tram but we decided to get the Metro pass for the day which allowed us to use the tram and buses for 24 hours. The road is loud, but we chose to embrace the liveliness of it and opened the balcony doors to listen to the Tram 28 and other street noises. No problem with noise at night. We took a Tuk Tuk tour with Pedro and what a great find he was. Pedro knew so much about Lisbon and was passionate about his Country. We had only a couple of hiccups, the hairdryer didn’t work and it was replaced quickly. The main issue was insufficient towels. We received only 1 Bath towel per person for 4 days stay. There were no hand towels provided nor were there any left in the bathrooms. I reached out to the host and was told it would be an extra charge. However, they did send 4 hand towels ( no charge) when pointed out this was not acceptable. We also noted that although a washing machine was present there is no drying space or rack provided. I would rate this stay a good 4/5 and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The building is 150 years old and has a uniqueness that is undeniably special.

Great location and neighborhood. Spacious, bathrooms very good and master had king bed which was very comfortable. Little snag with management company but resolved. Definitely recommend.

Great apartment in a great location

The apartment had plenty of space with two big bedrooms and a nice living room. It was in a great location within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. The check in process was really easy as well!

Great Stay

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Lisbon. Great communication from the hosts and were very accommodating when we arrived early on our first day. Would highly recommend, also, make sure you try the bakery on the corner near the apartment... unreal!
