Cow Barn converted into a beautiful spacious home.

Our place is located in a valley surrounded by the Green Mountain National Forest, Dorset Mountain and Danby Mountain. There are several major ski areas within 30 minutes and Killington ski resort is 45 minutes away. There are many hiking trails and fishing spots minutes away, as well as Emerald Lake which is 5 miles from the place. Our place is an old cow barn converted into a beautiful spacious home. The recreation room has a ping pong table, pool table, dart board, foosball table, poker table, Karaoke machine, and much more available to make for a fun filled stay. The living room has a huge 65" flat screen TV and plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Four of the bedrooms have a queen size beds, the master bedroom has a king size bed and private bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for preparing your meals.

Wonderful place

Our extended family enjoyed a week at the Cow Barn and loved it. Lots of space, fantastic game room in the basement, very clean, and Donna was great - very helpful.

Wonderful week

The house has plenty of bedrooms and kitchen equipment for a large gathering of friends and family. The house is spotless and the yard is great for playing outdoor games. Plus a terrific game room. Wonderful owners - they have thought of everything. Highly recommended property for a great week in Vermont.

Great stay!

The house was fantastic and had everything we needed! The game room was in the basement of the house and was awesome! Super nice pool table and had numerous options for the kids. Donna was proactive with communication when necessary and very responsive!

A Goddess Road Trip

We are a group of 5 women ages late 50 to mid 60 who travel each year on a Goddess Road Trip! This was a very roomy house for each of us to share and also have our own private space. The property was beautiful and there was much to do right in the house itself and surrounding area. Lake Emerald only about 4 miles down the road was absolutely beautiful.

Family Fun Property

Loved our stay! Plenty to do for everyone. Ping pong, the pool table, and the electronic dart board were a huge hit. We played corn hole and enjoyed the horseshoe pit. This place is HUGE! All the beds were comfortable. The living room can accommodate a large family for movie night. We enjoyed the quiet isolation. Next door there are goats that we enjoyed watching. Also, we saw a bobcat on the property one night, amazing! Two thumbs up!

New Years ski trip

The barn is as advertised. The game room is amazing, the kitchen is stocked with pots pans and appliances. I wish the host would have explained the hot water limitations as much as she did the importance of using place mats and not placing anything hot on the home made table. After a long day of skiing we ran out of hot water after 3 showers. After that being said the barn is an amazing place to stay and am looking forward to going back. I highly recommend it especially for a large group. Happy New Year

Picture Perfect

Our experience at Donna’s property couldn’t have been better. The pictures of this house do not do it any justice. Donna and Jack met us at check-in and gave us a thorough walk through of the home and offered up information on things to do to keep everyone entertained. There is so much to do on the property that you will probably never leave. The house was spotless and Donna and Jack couldn’t have been more welcoming. Donna was always a text message away and always responded quickly. Thank you Donna for being so accommodating! We will be recommending this to friends and would love to stay again if we are lucky enough.

Amazing Stay, Could Not Have Been Better

This barn lodge is as amazing as it seems in the photos. I will try to do it justice in this review. First, the grounds are immaculate. Very well maintained grass and landscaping all around. It is set back on a dead end so you don't see anyone driving/walking by. It is very quiet with amazing green mountain views all around and plenty of room for any outdoor activity (horseshoes and corn-hole provided!). The interior is also perfect. You walk into the basement/game lounge and immediately get excited for all the fun to be had. It is a huge open room with all the things listed so everyone can hang out. There is so much room for all the games too, no one is in the way of the ping pong or pool, everyone can play at once with plenty of space. And everything worked and had plenty of supplies like cues and ping pong balls. And CLEAN, so very clean! Everything was, including the rest of the house but I just want to put that in caps again, everything in this lodge was very CLEAN! The bedrooms were comfy and great, no complaints from any guest and we used them all. Bathrooms were the same way, spacious, clean, good water pressure. Living room fit a lot of people for hanging out and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals, as well as a large fridge, a bunch of appliances, and a great deck. There are a whole list of things provided for you that aren't listed which is so awesome and you get a nice tour of everything when you get there. It is a big property and there are certainly things we would have missed or not have known we could use without it so thanks Donna! They provide a whole bunch of towels if needed, minimal check out duties (strip linens from the bed and take out trash), working laundry, and a bunch of supplies in closets if needed. You have everything you need here, we barely left except to hit the country store around the corner for more food/drink. There are major towns 15 minutes away if you need more robust shopping. There is a reason this place is booked almost all the time, it is fantastic! I've rented other ski lodge type places and other times they are run down but you can tell this place is loved and well taken care of by the owners. No need to look any further, book this place now!

Amazing property!

We had a lovely time. The home is stocked with everything you need! The game room downstairs was a huge plus! Every room was clean and cozy. The power went out due to weather, i contacted Donna who was very quick to respond and let the power company know. Overall we had a great time! Thank you for Making this possible for our large group!

Can't describe what the hosts have done with their barn. They greeted us when we arrived. They have been great to us with understanding they were very good in communication and replying via text messages.

This property was perfect for our family get away. It's very spacious and very clean. Plenty of entertainment options for everybody within the property, so rainy days weren't bad at all. Gorgeous mountain views from the house and plenty of hiking trails around the area. Donna was very nice and professional. I would stay here again.

Great Home

Had many attractions not listed: karaoke machine, golf putting room, workout machines, basketball arcade game, ping pong, darts, pool table, smart fridge. Very fun! Plenty of room! Owners were very nice! Only negative was that they showed up 45 minutes before check-out.

With the many ski resorts in the area you, your family and friends can ski together or go to different resorts, then come back to our place and relax and enjoy all the amenities we have. There are several hiking trails nearby as well as fishing spots. Lake Emerald is just minutes away for swimming, and boating.
