We were very happy at this place. Clean, quiet and easy access to all the chateaus and wineries in the Loire Valley. I would recommend this place for anyone that is planning on visiting this area.

Amboise, a lovely town

Friendly and welcoming. As described, with plenty of space, not far from the town in a quiet location. All good, would go back again

Lovely house

This is truly a home from home in an excellent location with lovely views to the Chateau. The property was very clean and very well equipped having everything we needed to enjoy our stay here. It is, literally, 20minutes easy walking into Amboise so we didn't need to take the car which is fortunate as parking isn't that easy, and there is a Carrefour Connect and a Boulanger less than 10 minutes walk. Aurore, thank-you very much for the welcome gifts, which we enjoyed, and for making us feel so welcome.

Staying in Amboise

The property was excellent though the curtain to cover the second bedroom was interesting. Terrace and cover was lovely with a view of the balloons over Amboise morning and evening. Property was quite a walk from the town, better to use a car, parking good at the property and Amboise. Would struggle to drive in and turn a large vehicle our car was fine. Property owner was lovely welcoming and helpful!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison d'Aurore qui est très attentionnée ! La maison est parfaitement équipée de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin notamment pour cuisiner. La literie est très confortable, la vue sur le château d'Amboise magnifique. La situation est idéale pour visiter de nombreux châteaux alentours. Nous recommandons vivement !

Fietsen langs de Loire vanuit Amboise

Het huis was in orde en ruim, mooi gelegen op de top van de heuvel met zicht op het kasteel van Amboise. Minpuntje : zeer veel spullen van de eigenaar in de woning dus bijna geen opbergruimte voor onze eigen spullen - ook in de keuken geen enkele vrije kast voor onze boodschappen. Uitstekende ligging voor fietstochten langs de Loire en bezoeken aan de vele kastelen. Zeker een aanrader !

Gemütliches Haus mit tollem Garten

Wir würden von der Eigentümerin freundlich begrüßt. Das Haus ist sehr wohnlich eingerichtet und voll ausgestattet, auch mit Verbrauchsmaterialien, was ja nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Lage mit dem direkten Blick auf das Schloss sowie den sonnigen Garten haben wir ebenfalls sehr genossen.

Great location and beautiful house

We really enjoyed staying at Aurore's house. The location was perfect for us to use as a base to visit the chateaux in the area. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of power strips for us to plug in our cpaps and electronic devices. The wifi was great, and they had a new washing machine. Jean met us at the house and showed us how to use everything. Both he and Autore contacted us to make sure that everything was okay. We would definitely stay here again.

Catherine et sa famille ont été des hôtes très respectueux de la maison , tout était en ordre pour accueillir les personnes suivantes. La famille s’est également bien occupée du jardin , ce qui n’était pas une mince affaire pendant la semaine d’août très chaude , il a fallu beaucoup arroser et j’ai apprécié l’aide précieuse de cette famille discrète et efficace.

Michelle et Josette ont été deux personnes très correctes et très serviables; elles ont spontanément accepté d'arroser le jardin par ces temps de fortes chaleurs. Elles ont laissé la maison en parfait état, on peut leur faire entièrement confiance. Par ailleurs elles ont vraiment profité de leur séjour pour découvrir et apprécier notre région , ce qui est toujours agréable à constater !
