House of land in the middle of the palm grove of Drâa

"Dar Kadima" is a mud house recently built in the traditional way by the inhabitants of the small village of Zaouiet El Faggous. House of the association Terre de Zagora whose objective is to maintain the pottery making in the village. It allows to welcome families, or people curious to discover this traditional life, living near the inhabitants. Warm and simple welcome by the family of potters. Meals served on site. Many activities to do.


Entirely built of earth in formwork, in the old part of the village, overlooking the palm grove.
Respecting a know-how that is passed from generation to generation with a touch of modernity for our comfort. Running water with toilet, shower, sink, washbasins ...
Hot water is not yet available at the tap, use their method (heating water with gas or fire).

Near the Sahara and dunes.

Village located in the Draa Valley, 200 km of date palms. You have access to the gardens of all the palm grove that surrounds the house and goes to the river. You can benefit from their culture (dates, vegetables ...). And do not hesitate to accept the invitations of the neighbors and visit the Habach family and their animals: chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, mules.

Welcome by the Habach family. A family of potters anxious to keep their tradition and know how. Happy to welcome you to transmit their way of living in rhythm with nature. The goal is to live with them and participate in their work: pottery ...
