Athena is a charming studio, homestead cottage high on the hill within gated Hidden Passage. Relax on the covered private patio with “to-die-for” mountain, canyon views. Amenities include a BBQ, a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with shower, queen bed with memory foam mattress, smart TV, air conditioning and heating. And a carport for your car. Pet friendly.

Enjoy spectacular star gazing, relaxing by the ranch's pool, leisurely walks and adventures in a pristine natural environment completely surrounded by protected Wilderness Area.

A mountain-water, infinity seasonal pool (swimming season is usually April thru September, based on night temperatures) with spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains anchors the ranch. The pool is shared among 5 cottages and is open year round for sunning in the lounge chairs when it is too cold to swim.

The mountain-water feed infinity pool for Panorama Pass Guests. The pool with 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains is open year-round for poolside lounging in the sun, even if the water is too cold for swimming. The solar heated swimming season starts when nights warm in Spring and usually goes through late Fall. Note: Due to weather conditions, in winter months the pool shade sails may be taken down.

Hike. Hidden Passage Guest Ranch is in a secluded 130-acre canyon – an island within the Sand to Snow National Monument - with miles of unforgettable hiking trails right outside your door. Both leisurely walks around the village property to advanced serious all-day hikes. Will rarely see a soul . . . unless our own guests. (Trail map in Apollo Community Center.)

High degree of privacy, the cottages spread across 25 acres so no worry about “too close” quarters. At the same time there is a community center, coffee café to hang out, meet others, get information about the area.

Hidden Passage of Panorama Pass is in the center of everything, 20 minutes to Joshua Tree, 20 minutes to Palm Springs, 20 minutes to Pioneer Town, 90 minutes to LA. Note: Joshua Tree National Monument is an exotic and wonderful place but is at the “end of the road” for most desert adventures. Consider a location that is more central so as to have access to more of the plethora of desert offerings.)
