Welcome to Simply Sailing, a charming one-bedroom cottage at Barren River Lake designed for a relaxing and easy getaway. Perfect for couples or small families, this cozy retreat sleeps four and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy simple meals with the provided cooking essentials, unwind with movies and board games, or relax in the bedroom with a Smart TV where you can stream your favorite shows.

The drive-thru carport makes bringing your boat or trailer hassle-free and even includes an RV plug for added flexibility. Whether you're spending your days on the water or enjoying quiet evenings at the cottage, Simply Sailing is the perfect home base for your lake escape. One small family pet is welcome with a $75 non-refundable fee.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Self Check-In With Lock Box Place all dirty linens and towels on the floor in front of the washer and dryer Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher
Only one (1) family pet allowed per stay with acceptable $100 pet deposit. Additional $100 fine will be billed if a pet is not disclosed.
No smoking in the cottage or on the decks. A $200 fine will be implemented if anyone smokes in the home or on the deck.

As always, this sweet little house is the perfect stay for fishing tournaments. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Simply Sailing and the fifth time booking with Tim & Shannon. They are fantastic hosts, super friendly, very accommodating. And their homes are always so clean and cozy.

Tim and Shannon are amazing hosts with an equally amazing property.

We've stayed here several times now. It's pretty much our favorite place to stay on that end of the lake. The proximity to the boat ramp, the property itself, and the other boating related amenities make this an amazing place to stay.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

Super clean cabin in the woods with all modern conveniences. Close to a small beach, lakeside walking trail and good pizza. A perfect getaway for couples. Would highly recommend this cabin!
