Rústico moderno 1BR en Sunny Seabright

Nuestro lugar es un dúplex de estilo único con esta unidad de 1 habitación (633 pies cuadrados) ubicada al nivel de la calle, mientras que la otra unidad se encuentra arriba y es de 3 habitaciones. Ambos con entrada independiente. Es un plano de planta abierto con cocina recién remodelada que se abre a la sala de estar. La sala de estar cuenta con una silla reclinable motorizada y nuevos sofás cómodos que incluyen una cama queen size con colchón de espuma viscoelástica. Nuevo baño y bañera con barras de apoyo instaladas. El dormitorio con una cama king size, se encuentra en el extremo opuesto del espacio, cerca pero no conectado al baño. Nuestro lugar de playa ha estado en nuestra familia durante más de 50 años y, aunque siempre nos ha parecido acogedor, una remodelación reciente agrega más luz y comodidad, muy agradable. Nos encanta que puedas escuchar el rugido de la montaña rusa Big Dipper, los gritos de los jinetes, los leones marinos que ladran y el choque ocasional de las olas. También camine a la playa y al paseo marítimo y a nuestros restaurantes favoritos.

We ask for quiet hours to begin at 10 pm or when the Boardwalk closes at night. Out of respect to the neighborhood and upstairs residents.

Kindly leave shoes out front. I encourage you to bring a pair of indoor shoes. This helps keep our place better sanitized.

This place is absolutely perfect in every way. I can’t stress enough how great the location was 8 minute walk to the boardwalk, 10 to Seabright beach. Everything we needed was there. Beach chairs, sand toys, parking. The bbq and outdoor area is amazing. We will be back!

All-around great stay!

Our family of four had a wonderful weekend stay at Susan's place in Santa Cruz. The place was super clean and had all the amenities that you could need. It was a perfect size for our family, with two adults and two elementary aged kids. I think it would be totally fine with teens as well. The location is amazing - very walkable to many different areas and so close to Seabright beach and to the Boardwalk. You can hear the people above, if that unit is occupied, but that is very clearly stated in the description so it was expected and it was honestly not that bad. We had such a fun weekend and would absolutely love to stay again, and for longer! Susan was a great host and very easy to communicate with. Thank you Susan!

This adorable cottage is well appointed and super clean. Nice king sized bed was comfortable. The location was great within walking distance to the boardwalk and other local attractions. It was the perfect place for our long weekend.

Fantastic

We frequently visit our son who lives in Santa Cruz, and we've typically stayed in hotels. We decided to try a Vrbo this time, and are so glad we did. This home is just lovely. It's beautifully decorated with beach and seashore theme appointments. We just loved the vibe. The home is spotless and has everything you can think of that you might need for a beach vacation. This is a spot that is ideal for a small family. It's a very short walk to both the beach and the boardwalk. You can faintly hear the excitement of the roller coaster! The bed was comfy, and the living room and kitchen area are nicely laid out. There is an very nice outside sitting area that we didn't use because the weather was chilly during our stay, but it would be a nice spot for a glass of wine by the fire pit. Communication with the host was outstanding. I highly recommend this spot. We'll definitely be back.

Seabright Cottage

What a beautiful little apartment! Up-dated with modern amenities and so clean........spotless! The space was perfect for my husband and I as we visited the area - even stayed in one night and had our own little dinner while we watched "The Lost Boys" movie which was filmed nearby. The owner Susan was the perfect host, always staying connected and answered any questions we had via text. The bed and linens were so comfy, even the bathroom had an amazing shower. Never had time to use the little outdoor space, but how relaxing it looks with the mini fire pit and patio lights! Would recommend it for small parties....living room area is very large, but perfect for a couples get away. Thank you so much Susan for sharing your family's legacy and renting to us!

Perfect Location

Had the family stay here for a quick weekend getaway to Santa Cruz. Great communication with host prior to arrival. Perfect location of the small cozy apartment as it’s a few min. walk to the boardwalk and nearby walking distance to food spots. Definitely will be returning.

Pristine, cozy and beautiful house

It is a very beautiful cozy house, we loved our 2 day stay and wished we could have booked a longer stay. The property owner was very easy to communicate, she sent emails about the details about the property, check in details and everything regarding other rules. I will definitely recommend this place.

Great Condo, perfect location

We really enjoyed this condo and its location. It’s a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and there are good coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The check in and out process was easy. We will be looking to stay here again.

Eager to return

A just about perfect little apartment. Snug, but very comfortable for two—and big enough to accommodate a half dozen relatives who swung by for a couple of hours and a bite to eat. Full of thoughtful and excellent extras. Very quiet neighborhood, very convenient to the main town and boardwalk.

Great location in Santa Cruz

What a fun little place with an easy walk to the Boardwalk! Our teen slept on the pull-out and the two adults had the king bed. Great accommodations and I enjoyed sipping coffee on the outdoor patio. Our host was quick to respond during our stay and the listing is clean with cool modern decor. For the area, a covered carport was a bonus too.

Excellent little space in SC

We had a great stay. Myself, Husband and 4 year old really enjoyed the space. Has all the amenities you could need and there was complimentary snacks. Perfect location, walking distance to the Boardwalk or a few shops , cafe and corner store. Great communication and check in / check outs. I have nothing but positive things to say.

Excellent stay at a lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan's place, which was our last stop on a long California road trip. The apartment was very bright, fresh and modern, with lots of thoughtful touches such as snacks, plenty of towels and a bottle of wine. We also really appreciated the warm welcome from Susan's family members. The place is located very close to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, and within easy walking distance of several beaches. Highly recommended!

Perfect beach getaway with the teens

This beach bungalow is just immaculate, modern while still being cozy and charming, and perfectly situated! The owner is so gracious, and she has thought of every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I took my 16-year-old daughter and her 2 best friends for a Santa Cruz getaway. The kids divided their time equally between the beach and the Boardwalk, all within easy walking distance from the bungalow. They also ubered to downtown Santa Cruz for dining and shopping. I barely had to lift a finger! While the kids were out doing their thing, I read, slept, walked around the Seabright neighborhood, went down to the beach for a view, treated myself to lunch at the Seabright deli and dinner from Tramonti, and sipped wine back at the bungalow. A perfect getaway for mom and kids alike! We all had a wonderful mini-vacay!

I am the one of the 2nd generation of family vacationing in Santa Cruz. First my grandparents who immigrated from Italy came here for their vacations bringing my father and his siblings. Though my grandparents and father are no longer here, the tradition lives on in our children and theirs. We enjoy the place being near the Boardwalk and walking down to Seabright beach. The biggest change in the neighborhood is the addition of some amazing restaurants, Tramonte's, the Brewery,
(now the Seabright Social) Betty's Burgers, Enfar Pizza and La Posta. As a child those did not exist, only Days Market and a hot dog place. (Days is still there!!!) As a teen, my friends who had families that vacationed on the beach in Aptos would always stay at our place because of the easy access to all that the Boardwalk has to offer and because often in the summer there was sunshine in Seabright.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Those who have been staying at our place over the years say that they love it because of the location and comfort. They like walking to the various interest points, (wharf, harbor, light houses) restaurants, bars, or getting around on a bike is really fun. They enjoy sitting out on the patio or relaxing inside. The neighborhood is usually pretty quiet unless it is the summer and people are there to vacation then there is a lot of fun energy. We love that we are close to the Boardwalk but not right down next to it. Crossing the newly remodeled train trestle over the San Lorenzo river is a short distance. You can still hear the Big Dipper Roller Coaster, barking of sea lions from the wharf, and when the surf is right, the crashing of the waves.

The keyless entry is nice so that you don't have to worry about sharing keys, losing keys. You can park a car off the street or in the carport. Of course again, the location is great being so close to everything fun in Santa Cruz. Since our family also enjoys the place, we try and keep a variety of amenities available that are for your use as well. Our place has been completely remodeled to make it aesthetically pleasing as well as comfortable, with all new furniture, lighting, kitchen, bathroom, flooring.
