Quiet Getaway

Great location that is centrally located if you enjoy getting out to shop. Berlin is a neat little town in itself and within walking distance. There are many restaurants including all-you-can -eat style throughout the area. Go at your own pace on your time. It's a good couples getaway.

Celebrating our 3rd anniversary in Ohio's Amish country

The Rabbits Nest Lodge is a cozy retreat with a jacuzzi, and fireplace nestled in the heart of Ohio's Amish country. It is conveniently located close to Berlin Ohio's many shops. The check in and out were very simple. We actually never saw another person the entire time we were there.

Nice cabin / bad wifi

The cabin was very nice and in a quiet location. The fireplace is great and throws a lot of heat into the cabin. The WiFi came and went, so the YouTube TV kept cutting out and our phones losing signal. If you don’t care about that, it is great place to stay.

Cozy cabin

Inside was better than I imagined. Very clean and cozy cabin. Bed was comfortable. While the shower was very roomy and good shower head, some type of mat or slip strips are needed as it becomes very slippery when wet and soapy. Very nice cabin as long as you get someone above you who shows respect that there are people below them.

Rabbits Nest Getaway

Cabin was very nice and comfortable. Area was vary quiet and was wonderful for a quick getaway. It was close to town but not as walkable as I had hoped. Also there was a drive to the resort and not as close as expected. All in all it was a great getaway.

Nice Cabin overall, but the description is a misleading

I'll first say that the room was overall nice and mostly clean except for some potato chips on the living area floor. The description says "overlooking a pond". The pond is actually across the road on another property and can't be seen unless you walk down the parking area. The "cabin" is not a stand alone cabin. It is part of multiple rooms in one building. This room shares parking with the other room on this lower level. The two rooms share a porch and approach. So you can't leave the blinds to the room open unless you don't mind the neighbors looking inside your room every time they walk by. The Bad: The bed is three feet from the stove and kitchen. The small fridge is on the floor and you have to get down on your knees to retrieve anything. A/C worked okay while we were there on a cool rainy days. Not sure how well it would work on hot/humid days. Water heater is three feet from the bed and is loud. It ran a couple times during the night. So if you're a light sleeper this may be an issue. Internet is 2MBps. Just enough to run the youtube TV. The good: The bathroom was nice and clean. Large shower. Hot water hit or miss. Bed was comfortable Living area was nice with a comfortable couch.

Christmas Vacation!

Could use more signage to locate.. can opener was rusty and did not work could not open cans...did not turn.. Spa filled with water but controls did not work.. The cabin itself is beautiful ...comfortable...and peaceful..Nice & quiet...Overall we had a very nice & beautiful Christmas. Would return & recommend to friends. Thank You!

Relaxing

We enjoyed our 9 year anniversary here. Cabin was very clean and well kept. Would highly recommend for a weekend get away. Close to all attractions if you choose to go into town.
