Considere alquilar este condominio de 2 recámaras y 2 baños totalmente renovado en Carolina Beach con excelentes vistas al mar desde el piso superior y acceso a 2 piscinas. Este alquiler de vacaciones se encuentra directamente al otro lado de la calle de la playa y tiene 2 terrazas increíbles con excelentes vistas al agua. Esta unidad ofrece una lavadora y una secadora en la unidad, cocina totalmente actualizada y pisos de madera en todas partes. El dormitorio principal está bellamente decorado y tiene una cama queen size. El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales. Hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Puede caminar hasta el muelle de Carolina Beach para pescar, disfrutar de una bebida / refrigerio o simplemente disfrutar de las excelentes vistas. El muelle también cuenta con un restaurante y bar. El parque Freeman, que tiene acceso a la playa en 4 ruedas se encuentra a pocas cuadras al norte. Esta propiedad está completamente amueblada y lista para su disfrute hoy.

No es necesario que pase por nuestra oficina y espere en la fila para recoger una llave. Esta casa está equipada con una cerradura de entrada sin llave para que pueda comenzar a disfrutar de sus vacaciones desde el momento en que llega.

Beach Vacation

My family and I rented this condo for the Memorial Day weekend. The pros: location was fantastic. The view from the top unit is an ocean view. We got to experience a film crew filming a Netflix movie with Kate Bosworth right in front of the unit! The unit was clean and stocked with paper towels, laundry detergent and coffee filters. The cons: the mattresses need to be desperately replaced. Every time I moved or my husband moved the bed and springs in the mattress squeaked very loudly. We didn’t sleep well at all during our stay. Also, if you bring bagels for breakfast beware of the toaster. It’s old, broken and needs replacing. The bottom piece of it was broken when we arrived and fell off. You are only provided 1 trash bag in the unit. I bought 3 extra with me thank goodness. Also, no signs or directions on how or where to haul off your trash. No bins on the property. It says on the check in form trash day is Tuesday. We stayed Friday- Monday so that didn’t help at all. We made the best of it but we will not be renting this unit again.

Abt 50 steps away from beach!

We stayed on the top floor of “at ease” and the rental was perfect. Clean linens, simple yet beachy vibed decorations. The onyl bad thing was the bugs on deck at night and the flys in hallway. Other than that, perfect.

Great!

This was a fantastic location and condo. The beach access was easy to get to. The view was wonderful as well. The street was quiet and felt very safe. The beach was wide and beautiful. The only downside to our stay was the construction going on right beside us. This was not disclosed. I know it's out of their control; however, it was very loud all day long. Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone, and I would rent this condo again!

Too Little Too Late

The morning after arriving we noticed that the washing machine was broken. I contacted the property manager and was informed that they already knew it was broken. I was angry because no one bothered to mention this when they called me prior to check in or upon check in. I was told someone would be out to fix it when a part arrived. So, the washing machine was never fixed during our entire week stay and communication with the property manager was hit or miss for the entire week. If you have ever been on vacation with children at the beach, you know that a working washing machine is essential. Otherwise, I would have just rented a hotel room. Earlier in the week my daughter made a comment that she couldn't wait for the vacation to be over because she was tired of sleeping on a box spring. I thought she was joking. However, when I was gathering the linens I noticed that she had indeed been sleeping on a box spring the entire week!! The day after our vacation was over, Kelly, the property manager called me to apologize. This was the first informative conversation I had with someone from Carolina Retreats. However, for me it was too little too late. I had just spent 1 week on vacation with 4 kids, limited clothing, no washer. I had to take time out of our vacation to tackle the laundry at another location. This meant time away from my family as well. When I informed the property manager, Kelly, about the box spring situation, she told me it must have been an accident. Interesting accident, considering that the box spring was covered with a mattress cover. Ridiculous! Overall the condo was nice. It was equipped with basic kitchen essentials necessary. There was even a crockpot. The property is very near the beach. We walked over each day. I learned that I need to read the small print about the appliances in rental agreements and never book myself into a situation like that again. I will probably never book with Carolina Retreats again due to how poorly the communication was handled throughout the week and excuses were made for poor customer service.

Rock Beach

We knew was on 3rd floor but with the number of steps--the view was not worth the climb. The beach had a barrier of large boulders so made beach access very difficult and there was no sandy beach area during high tide. Would not return nor recommend this beach to anyone. Lastly--reported problem with washer beginning of week--never got fixed (towel was stuck in it ) and they only gave one small bath towel per person so we had to go out and purchase towels for personal use

Good place

Clean, Quiet place to stay. Short walk from beach. Needs a little TLC, hopefully will repair living room patio door, some areas of ceiling, an umbrella on deck table would be nice, no hose to wash off sand. Glad others talked about stairs so we were expecting them. A little pricey for the quality but overall we had a very nice stay.

quick family get away

Comfortable stay. Clean and cheery beach decor. Nice view of the ocean from the front porch. Easy access to the beach. Had an issue with parking pass but management corrected the problem in timely manner. Only negative was the hot stairwell and the many steps to climb to top floor.

It was ok

The place is ok. There are some definite things that needs some attention. The place could use a new washer and dryer. Washer had some problems while we were there. There was a short in a wire that was known but we weren't told about it prior to arriving. The furniture on the deck needs replaced, its old and cracked. The back deck also needs new carpet.

Wanted to like the stay a little more but...

This was our first trip to Carolina Beach. On the plus side, the unit was clean and it had more supplies than other beach condos we've rented (coffee filters, saran wrap, extra towels, etc.). That was a nice perk. The beach is also cleaner than other beaches we've visited. We also found the property management company to be helpful and responsive. However, there's construction going on around the building that causes noise (even beginning early in the a.m.) and the actual unit does show some age/wear tear with trash in the parking lot, etc. You will not be staying in a luxury unit...it's basic. The fold out couch was painful to sleep on with a paper thin mattress and no bedding that fit and the bathroom that services the twin bedroom smells musty. Our car was towed the first night due to not having the parking tag out so that was a bummer. We didn't realize this was such a necessity and only flipped open the welcome notebook the morning after checking in over coffee. So, $200 later, we were left a bit deflated about the trip. Overall, the unit is located close to the beach so, if convenient location is your goal, then you'll like this property. The other details are good to know so expectations are realistic going in to a stay here.

July kids getaway

This was my first time at Carolina beach. I had my two kids with me. The condo is near the northern end of the island so traffic doesn't seem that heavy. There is a pier about two blocks north. The condo is across the street from the beach, but you have to walk about one block north or south to a public beach access. It is on the third floor, so be prepared for a climb. You can see the ocean from the balcony. You have access to a small pool at the condo next door. It is a decent condo with everything you need, but not luxurious. The maintenance man really helped when I needed a new coffee maker, and when the clothes washer didn't work. We had a great time!

Nice condo on quiet side of the island

This was a clean and nice place on the top floor of the building. I would have given it 4 stars but we did have some problems with little ants in the kitchen. The rental company was responsive when we called, came out and sprayed right away. However, it did not get rid of them completely and they returned the next day. Other than that we did not have any issues and enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to stay on Carolina Beach

The interior was cozy and clean. The front and back balconies had nice views, the living room was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I could ask for. This location is across the street from the ocean, close to the pier, plus there is access to two pools. This location is far enough from Carolina Boardwalk to enjoy peace and quiet, but also a very short car ride away from the Boardwalk. It is the best of all worlds. The property managers were very helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

We LOVED it!!! It was the perfect summer vacation!

This condo was so relaxing even with three kids. The two decks were the place to be. Emily was very helpful and responsive the whole time. We all enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back..
