This family-friendly escape is easy to find and makes experiencing Saugatuck a breeze. You'll be two miles northeast of shops, eateries, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Saugatuck and only a mile further from downtown Douglas. The sparkling Lake Michigan shoreline of Saugatuck Dunes State Park is two miles northwest, and two of the area's most beloved beaches - Oval Beach and Douglas Beach - are within a four-mile drive.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The cabin itself was plenty big enough for our family of 7! Our kids had plenty to do to keep themselves occupied. We loved spending time out on the back screened in porch with the hot tub. It was walking distance to the community pool, ice cream shop, dune rides, and coffee shop. If you are a jogger/biker there is a nice paved sidewalk going into Saugatuck.

Great ladies weekend!

We enjoyed staying here for a ladies weekend. Lots of things to check out in Saugatuck and Holland. We hiked the stairs at Mount Baldhead to see the view. We checked out Lake Michigan. We walked the downtown in Saugatuck. We hit up some great thrift stores in Holland. The hot tub was fantastic!

Perfect space for a group getaway

Really cute cabin! It was the perfect space for me and 7 of my friends to celebrate my birthday. The cabin only allows 2 cars to park in front, which was originally a concern since we had 3 cars coming. But to our pleasant surprise, there were 2 overflow parking passes available to a lot close by.

Great Cabin!

We had a great weekend in saugatuck at the kingfisher cove cabin. The home was extremely clean and looks better than the listing photos! Almost anything we needed was provided - trash bags, paper towel, linens, seasonings and kitchen / grilling supplies. Only down side was we requested early check-in and it was not available and we didn’t know until the morning of check in. Great property overall! Would love to visit again.

Fall Cabin Getaway🍂🍁🏕️

It was one of the most peaceful and relaxing getaways we have had. We loved everything about this place. The location, the hot tub, the porch, the bonfire pit, the furniture, etc. were perfect, and we had the most magical time. We hope to come back here for our wedding in June because it is and was everything we are and we’re looking for. The price of this place during this time of year was also a huge plus! Highly recommend staying at this cabin!! :)

Very beautiful cabin that was quite comfortable. It is well built. Had most of what was needed. Would be five stars if we had pepper, baggies and foil, and the couch were newer. Very comfy bed. Nice hot tub and fire pit. We would definately return. Interaction with Vacasa rep was great.

Peaceful Gathering

This was our second visit to a Kingfisher cabin in Saugatuck and again it was another ideal trip. Upon arrival, the cabin was spotless and well-appointed with everything we would need. It has the feel that you are set off into the woods of southwestern Michigan, but your actually so close to wonderful hiking, beaches, shopping and restaurants. The home is big enough to find some private spaces, but also cozy enough to enjoy the company you are sharing it with. Again, another fantastic experience.

It was a beautiful cabin and the kids loved it

The cabin is was very clean and beautiful. We loved our stay. The kids and I enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. One of the smoke detectors started beeping low battery in the middle of our first night. I called first thing that morning and someone came and took care of it within a few hours since I was unable to reach the smoke detector myself. Overall it was a great stay and we will probably go there again sometime next year.
