Villa Chimera is a splendid historical villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps 16 people. From Villa Chimera you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of Positano. Villa Chimera is 330 square meters (3550 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two wide private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops and the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi-Sorrento line. You will find the closest beach at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles). You will reach Villa Chimera from the street level going up a 200-meters (660-feet) public walkway that includes approximately ten stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Chimera. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and external showers. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea. The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.
Garden
The garden is partly shaded by olive trees. You will be able to reach it from the swimming pool area. In the garden you will find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a view of the sea.
Middle Level (Entrance Level)Terrace 1
The first terrace is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea.
Living Room
You will be able to enter the living room from the main entrance hall. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include sofas and armchairs. There is an age-old and impressive fireplace. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through three French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room
The ceiling of the dining room is high and vaulted. The dining table can accommodate 14 guests. There is an age-old fireplace. From the dining room you will be able to enter the first terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a gas oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and other small appliances.

This suite is made up by three interconnected rooms: a sleeping area, a sitting area and a bathroom. The seventh bedroom has a king-size bed (200 cm/79 inches), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches), located in the sitting area of the suite. An additional twin bed (80 cm/32 inches) is available (if requested in advance) to make it a quadruple room. The room has a Juliet balcony with a view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid handmade majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to reach the laundry room from the toilet in the pool area. Here you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.
