This is my husbands '74 Alfa Romeo GTV. We love vintage cars and traveling. My husband has been to all 7 Continents, I have yet to visit Antarctica. We started coming to the desert when our son moved from LA to take a job in Palm Desert. Upon visiting him in Joshua Tree, we fell in love with the area. We are renting the home now to enjoy time with our grandkids who live near us in the Phoenix area. We are looking foward to the time we can retire and move to LaQuinta full time where we hope to retire. I have a backround in real estate related fields for over 40 years and have been doing vacation rental properties in Arizona and California for over 10 years.
Why they chose this property
The area this home is located is quiet and we love the mountains that surround it. We bought the home for my son, to live in while he worked as adjunct photography professor at College of the Desert. Upon receiving a full tenured position in San Diego, and moving there, we decided to do short term rentals so others get to enjoy the ambiance and beauty of the area.
What makes this property unique
This home has so many unique features such as the vaulted ceiling in the living room, the large windows and the fireplace. We love the french doors and the way the light shines in in the morning. Sitting in the courtyard in the evening to watch the sunset into the mountains has become a favorite evening ritual
