Completely remodeled 1950's cottage in great location for boaters. After a long day of fun and sun on the lake, come spend the night in comfort. Air-conditioned home with internet and cable offers relaxation in beautiful outdoor surroundings. Bright white paint and solid wood flooring give the cottage a fresh clean atmosphere. Lovely family room with gas fireplace and new kitchen with ample counter space and seating for 10. Main floor hosts 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with 2 twins. Full bathroom nestled between the bedrooms. The private master retreat occupies the entire 2nd floor with a king bed, TV, sitting area, with gorgeous built-in cabinetry, full master bath, and laundry. Cottage contains all new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Come wind down from your fun-filled day under the shade of large mature trees on the spacious patio as you enjoy your backyard BBQ on the outdoor furniture and dining table. Great parking on site that accommodates large boats and several vehicles. The cottage is situated on the edge of a beautiful 50-acre farm with open fields that boast ample wildlife to view along with amazing sunsets as well as chickens that roam the yard, providing the most natural form of pest control. This cottage truly offers the best of both worlds. Only 0.9 miles from Smith Ridge boat ramp, 1.7 miles from Emerald Isle Marina and beach, and 4 miles to city center and Campbellsville University with access to restaurants and grocery.

Receive your own personal access code for entry to the main door by using the keyless entry system. This allows your arrival to be convenient and contactless any time of day or night. Ask about our Watersport rentals; Kayaks, paddle boards, and our 26 foot Sea Ray Sundeck with driver and all the toys so that you and your guests can relax and enjoy the water!

Perfect Country Home

We visit family in Campbellsville often and this is the only place we stay. The Hosts are incredible and the backyard is perfect for our family to fellowship. We are so grateful for the wonderful place to stay!

Very nice place to stay!

We loved the place. The owners were great and available if needed. My daughters loved feeding the chickens. The fire pit in the back was perfect for sitting out in the evening and relaxing. We loved the place and will be back on future visits to Green River! Highly recommend.

Home away from home

Unfortunately, we came to Kentucky for the passing of our father. This house provided us with the warmth and comfort we needed during a difficult time. It was exactly what I needed! Under better circumstances we would have enjoyed the wildlife. I am hoping to stay here again. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Amazing location for boating and a very relaxing property

Owners were so accommodating and friendly. Property was so very nice. Will rent again in the fall and make this a property to use during fishing season each year. Plenty of place to park several cars and boat. House was so clean and had everything you would need to have a relaxing weekend. Felt just like home. Plenty of wildlife to see.

Great Getaway to Get Off The Grid & Relax

This property is very well maintained and gorgeous inside. It is such an adorable house. The surrounding area is very simple but we went to get away and relax and it was perfect for just that. The kitchen had very nice accommodations as well. We were pleasantly surprised by the hose and the hospitality of the owners. Very nice people who were super helpful! Looking forward to going back for a couples weekend or even to bring the kids - it would be perfect for both.

Amazing Home, Wonderful Hosts!

We had the best experience. The cottage is well-stocked, very very clean, and cozy. We will most definitely be coming back. We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit, warmed up by fireplace inside, made homemade lasagna in the beautiful kitchen, enjoyed family meals around the table, slept well, and loved seeing the Deer and chickens. The host was very kind and responsive! It is a lovely place and we cannot wait to return.

Great getaway!

The house was so clean, neat, and comfortable - we loved it! The owners were very helpful and nice and we appreciated the welcome letter and gift. The cushioned chairs and the fire pit made for a nice outdoor space. We were able to roast marshmallows and hot dogs at the fire pit and they provided plenty of firewood. We used the grill one night and it worked well. We had a wonderful day at the lake, renting a pontoon boat, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. It was a great, relaxing getaway and we would go back again. Thanks to the owners for providing a great place to stay near the lake.

Family Thanksgiving

Perfect location! Very responsive host. Sleeps 6; dining table seats 6; outdoor table seats 6. Kitchen is well equipped; knives can use a good sharpening though. Dishwasher is quiet when running. Master suite is spacious, beautifully decorated, and on a separate thermostat from the main floor...and the space has 2 ceiling fans! Main floor bedrooms are also spacious; beds are high. We loved the big back yard and the little ones enjoyed the chickens and running in the field. Any issue was handled quickly by Kelly. Our only issue was the living room furniture: high arms obstucted setting a coffee cup on an end table and deep seats were stiff and uncomfortable. There were many throw pillows to support seating; however, we could not use the pillows due to significant allergies to feather down. The furniture did allow ample space for 6 persons. Overall, this was a beautiful home, we enjoyed our week, and will definitely keep The Cottage on our list of places to stay when visiting Campbellsville.

Beautiful Farm Cottage

Great spot

The house is fantastic - great space for a gathering of family and friends. Minutes from the lake and the owner offers great options for getting out on the water (boat, kayaks). We have been twice and will be going back.
