We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! Brea, the host is amazing, and has decorated the place so much like a comfortable spa, you can't help but to relax. It's secluded and very romantic, offering 3 fireplaces, a hot tub, and a spectacular view. We truly recommend The Loverly!

Thank you so much for this lovely review! Creating a space where guests can truly unwind and reconnect is exactly what we hoped for with The Loverly, so it means a great deal to hear it felt like a spa retreat to you both. There's nothing quite like an evening by the fire or a soak in the hot tub with that view. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime. Warmly, Brea

The Loverly was just what we needed for a quiet weekend away. It was remote enough that we could almost believe we were alone on the mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the decor was perfect for a mountain home.We loved the fireplaces, especially in the bedroom, and the bed was super comfortable. And to top it off, the owner provided great communication and was super responsive to every question we had.We will definitely visit The Loverly again!

It is an ideal cozy romantic getaway in the mountain forest. Asheville and Biltmore and Chimney Rock were all about 20-30 minute drive away. There were some nice trailheads only about 5-10 minutes away. Returning to the hot tub after hiking and easing one's sore muscles in the water was indescribable. Brea was an amazing hostess. She was a treasure trove of helpful information and was very responsive to any questions that came up. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We had a wonderful time there and hated to leave the mountain sanctuary.

Sounds like you found the perfect mix of adventure (Asheville, Biltmore, Chimney Rock) and peaceful forest time right outside your door. It was such a pleasure hosting you two. Come back and visit your mountain sanctuary anytime! Warmly, Brea

The Loverly is the most lovely fully equipped cottage in the woods, just minutes from downtown Asheville. The host truly thought of everything—the cottage is chock-full of thoughtful little touches everywhere you look. It was cozy, comfortable, (most comfortable bed!), and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful wooded setting made it feel like a secluded retreat while still being conveniently close to all that Asheville, Chimney Rock and other fantastic hiking areas had to offer. You will love it there, I promise!

Pictures don’t do The Loverly justice! We had an amazing stay, all the little details were so wonderful. Fireplace in bedroom was very nice on the cold mornings! Hot tub was great, very private, even enjoyed the morning we left. Brea is a very gracious host and very attentive! We were lucky to be there the day the road to Chimney Rock opened back up and got to patronize all those folks hard hit by Helene so that was an added bonus! We will definitely be back!

Brandon, your words genuinely made my day! I'm so glad The Loverly exceeded expectations — that's exactly what I hope for every guest. Those chilly mountain mornings are just made for a bedroom fireplace, aren't they? And the hot tub privacy is one of my favorite features of that property, so I love that you enjoyed it right up until the moment you left! What a special bit of timing to be there when the road to Chimney Rock reopened — that community has shown such incredible resilience after Helene, and every dollar spent there means so much to those folks rebuilding. You were part of something meaningful that morning without even planning it. We'd love to welcome you back to The Loverly anytime. The mountains will be here waiting! 🏔️

Richard, Thank you so much for the wonderful review of my property! I'm thrilled to hear that you found it to be the perfect romantic, private retreat. Providing a clean, well-appointed space for my guests to relax and unwind is my top priority. I'm so glad the location worked well for you - close enough to local attractions, but far enough away to feel like your own private oasis. Being able to come back at the end of the day and enjoy the hot tub or cozy up by the fire was exactly like the kind of experience I aimed to create. Hearing that the best part of your stay was simply spending quality time together in this peaceful setting is music to my ears. That's truly what a vacation should be all about. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience - it means so much and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon! Brea

Brea was responsive and assisted in every way before, during, and after our stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and each area is spacious. The experience couldn’t have been better executed: Brea’s pre-visit communication, stocked items (the bath salts, soaps, and lotions are all lovely, the linens are delightful, and the coffee was delicious), thorough cleanliness, and total location privacy.
