This beautiful, gated community, marsh front property has amazing, unrestricted views of the inter-coastal waterway. It is located less than 5 minutes away from the beach and equally as close to the historic downtown for shopping and dining. This property boast an amazing pool with custom stone grotto with two waterfalls and a water slide that spirals inside of the grotto emptying into the pool. The property is 6,000 square feet and can easily accommodate 10-12 guest comfortably with four bedrooms with king size beds and one bedroom with a queen size bed. Additionally, there is an upstairs one bedroom pool house apartment with a king size bed room overlooking the pool. It is complete with a full bath, kitchenette, an additional built in day bed, and separate garage space, that can easily accommodate 3 additional guest. This house was featured in the "decision scene" on an episode of HGTV's Beach Hunters; the episode featured our beach front home which is also available for weekly rental and can be found on VRBO #1620169.
The pool has two different types of heaters - one is a heat pump and the other is a gas heater. There is a $30 per day pool fee for unlimited use of the pool which includes unlimited use of the heat pump. The heat pump is able to adequately heat the pool as long as the outside temperatures are in the mid 70's during most of the day. During the middle of the winter and when the outside temperatures are below the mid 70's the gas heater will need to be used for several hours per day to heat the pool until the temperatures increase to the point that the heater can be switched back over to the heat pump. The gas heater cost $20 per hour to operate. If you intend to rent in the winter months and wish to use the gas heater when needed please mention that in your reservation request. All gas fireplaces are non functional due to insurance requirements.
This property only rents for a 7 day minimum in the months of June and July, during holiday weeks, as well as the week of the Ritz Concourse car show and the week of the Shrimp boat festival. You can always inquiry if less days are desired, which may be possible at times due to other existing reserved dates.
