About this property

Lakefront townhome with amazing views! Private Oasis in quiet neighborhood

Just steps from the lake this 3 bedroom/3 bath condo is nestled in a quiet community in Monoacan Shores. Our community has a private beach and dock for the community to enjoy the lake. We also have a kayak/paddle board that can be used by any guests. We also provide towels (shower & beach), beach chairs, floaties, fully stocked kitchen, tons of board games and a beautiful deck with grill & screened in porch. The deck is a great place to enjoy the view of the lake- enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the deck to see all the wildlife in the morning or enjoy looking at the stars in the evening! We are minutes away from Smith Mountain Lake State Park which has a public boat launch, beach & wonderful hiking. Mariner's Landing Golf (public golf course) is steps away, as well as 2 restaurants- Bruno's & The Landing. Looking for a night of fun? Head over to Bottles & Bites for a glass of wine and some fun games. You will enjoy the quietness of the community but only steps away from lots of activities. Lots of walking trails and a mile walk to the State Park which has beautiful hikes and a public beach for swimming and a boat launch. There are also several local marinas that rent boats and jet skis. We recommend Mitchell's- they also have a great little restuarant that has lunch and dinner items, gas for the boat and snacks for the day! Mariner's Landing also rents boats and they have a restaurant on the water called The Landing, as well as small market with provisions and Starbucks! This is a 15 minute walk from our townhome.

The townhouse was fantastic and the owners were a pleasure to work with!

The townhome was done exquisitely well and the view along with a thread beautiful sunrises made it perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice - we will definitely return!

Pictures of property do not do it justice, we were so pleasantly surprised regarding the size and decor. A big bonus was we found the master bed trul comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay her again.

We truly enjoyed this property with a family bbq while watching the kick off to the college football season. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment. Comfortable beds and furnishings. The view is spectacular nestled in a bucolic neighborhood.

Great house in a great location!

This is definitely a wonderful lake property if you are looking for some relaxation and fun on the water. All the amenities you might want to enjoy (boat, jet ski) are super close and the house itself is very well stocked with things to enjoy your time there - pickleball paddles, water floats, outdoor camping chairs, all the beach towels you would need, so much! Our family had a wonderful time and we all want to return. The hosts were very quick to respond with little questions we had too, great hosts!

Great location for lake visit

This condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped. We appreciated the amount of beach towels and the beach chairs. The kitchen could use a little update. We will definitely rent again

Perfect Lakefront townhome in gorgeous area!

This spacious townhome could not be better! 3 separate bedrooms, 3 full baths, fold-out sofa, 2 living spaces, fully stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated throughout, and the shining star might be the expansive deck with great outdoor furniture or maybe the screened in porch…this place has it all! Not to mention it’s on the golf course…AND it’s on the lake too!…AND you have access to community pool, tennis courts, and private lake beach. I could go on and on, but I need to mention the owners. Michele is very kind, responsive, helpful, and a wonderful host all around. Everyone would enjoy their time at this rental and beautiful Smith Mountain Lake!

Wonderful Vacation Home

Beautiful property. Excellent location. We rented a tritoon, Mariner’s Marina is right there. Saw several bald eagles 🦅 from the boat. Saw a lot of deer near the location. The beds and furniture are comfortable. Host very accommodating and communication great! We had a wonderful vacation.

Great Location, Well Stocked, A Pefect Week

The townhouse was just what we expected and more! The 3 floor layout provided good separation for grandparents, a teenager, and 3 younger children. It was well stocked from kitchen supplies, board games, and water/beach necessities. We loved the view down over the expansive lawn to the water. We enjoyed docking our runabout boat (day rental) at the dock while we ate lunch. There was great outdoor deck space, though we didn't have time to use it! We would definitely come back and recommend it to friends!

Perfect small-family setup

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Each family unit had their own floor and with two 21-month-olds, that was ideal. No one disturbed anyone else. It was very spacious and clean. The only complaint I have overall is our time there was too short. In the chaotic world we’re living right now, I wish we could’ve stayed in those peaceful surroundings forever.

Wonderful stay

We stayed at this property in mid-August and it was perfect. The weather was great and the lake was warm. The house was very close to the lake and the neighborhood has a dock and small beach where we hung out often. The house was great with a bedroom on every level and the screened in porch was perfect for breakfast every morning and other meals when the occasional rain shower came through. Highly recommend!

We loved the house and location. Had a wonderful stay. Lots of nice extras and a fully functional kitchen. The only thing that was a problem was the fridge was not turned on and took a long time to cool down, we lost a lot of food because of it

My husband and I live in Central PA and love sharing our lakehome with guests. Smith Mountain Lake is a special place for us and we enjoy the quietness of the lake and also like all the fun activities near by- boating, hiking, golfing and swimming to name a few! Mariner's Landing is right next door with a fabulous Wine Bar and 2 restaurants- The Landing and Bruno's.

Why they chose this property

We chose Monoacan Shores because it is a quieter community with a community dock and is close to the Mariner's Landing golf course- which is a public golf course. We also love being able to walk on the trails and walk to the state park. It's a peaceful area to gather with family.

What makes this property unique

We have an amazing view of the lake and also have lots of wildlife around- especially deer! We love having 3 sleeping spaces so the kids can enjoy there time and so can the adults. I previously owned a catering company so my kitchen is stocked with everything! We also have a grill on the back deck which is great for dinners. We often spend the night on the back deck eating dinner and playing games
