Haraki beach is located 36 km south of Rhodes town. It is an idyllic waterfront fishing village with crystal clear waters suitable for numerous activities, interesting water excursions and dining. Excellent restaurants, tavernas and cafes are found in the immediate walking distance offering traditional food and fresh local seafood dishes. Walking along the promenade leads towards the ruined Feraklos Castle, which overlooks the village. From Feraclos castle you can have a panoramic view of Haraki, the sandy beach of Agia Agathi, and the town and acropolis of Lindos.
Haraki cove offers beautiful waters a picturesque landscape as well as nearby access to neighboring beaches with dreamy waters, rocks and caves, such as Kokkini Ammos and Agia Agathi (golden sand beach).


Haraki's crystal clear beach is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is mainly coarse sand. Where the pebbles end and the sand starts changes year to year depending on the action of the sea in winter...

A two minute drive (or a fifteen minute walk) takes you to Agia Agathi, on the other side of the castle hill; a wonderful soft sand beach. Agathi also has three informal beach tavernas and many sunbeds so it's an excellent place for a day trip.

Evening entertainment consists of eating and drinking in the nearby tavernas and cafe bars, most of which overlook the sea. Haraki provides a lovely atmosphere created by local people and tourists alike, enjoying the natural beauty and unforgettable landscape.

The village is served by a regular bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town.
