Perfect getaway for us with our pups! Having the fenced in yard was ideal, even bowls, towel and shampoo for them. The home is perfectly appointed, soft towels, pillows and sheets. We loved the easy access to sopping, restaurants and hiking! Our host so quick to respond to any question. We will most definitely be back!!

Hot tub was amazing in the cold weather, Karen was awesome with any questions we had and let us check in early, which was so helpful to start off our honeymoon. Such a great place to stay and so close to everything in town! It was so nice to walk to everything. Karen also had the place stocked with anything we could’ve needed and the decor just made our experience so much nicer. 10 stars!

Quaint Hideaway

A lovely hidden spot in the heart of Blowing Rock. You are steps away from everything in Blowing Rock but a quite retreat when you want to escape and recharge. The outdoor amenities are excellent, and the indoor area is very comfortable.

Fantastic 4th of July trip at Two Steps Down

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful stay at Two Steps Down. It was perfect for us - clean, cozy, well-stocked and (best of all) right in the middle of everything in downtown Blowing Rock. We loved the fire pit! It was great to have a fenced in yard for our dog. We will definitely be back!

Karen does a beautiful job with her properties. They are well appointed and she is meticulous with cleanliness. I highly recommend any of her properties for visits to Blowing Rock.

Foggy and Rainy but Awesome

I always enjoy my stay at this location. Everything was provided that I needed. I’ve stayed on this property several times, it’s fenced in and just a block from Main Street.

Diamond all the way!

Beautiful accomodations with all the extra thoughtful touches. Loved the courtyard area that gives you a private outdoor space, and the hot tub is a nice bonus! Just has everything to make a getaway a wonderful experience! We have stayed in four Diamond properties and you just cant go wrong with any of them!

Excellent location and well maintained

This place was perfect for my wife, our dog, and me. The fenced in yard and great location. Right on Sunset Dr, right downtown. The interior was tastefully decorated, very clean, and as advertised. Fairly new appliances and everything was in top working order. We would stay here again on our next visit to Blowing Rock.
