Lovely Guest House near the Beach and River

Isabelle is a pleasant, attentive, and informative host. Her place is about a 15-min walk (~1.5km) from Taharu'u Beach, or closer if you wade through the river. Lovely place (safe & quiet neighborhood) to spend some time surfing Paparā and exploring the south-side of Tahiti.

Riverside Retreat

This property is in a nice location on the island of Tahiti. You couldn’t ask for a nicer or more helpful hostess than Isabelle. She helped us with finding the places we wanted to go to. She also brought us fresh picked fruit. Thank you Isabelle for your hospitality!

Papara Stream Fare

Staying here was a good experience. Isabelle was a wonderful, kind and knowledgeable host. The fare was a lot bigger then I had expected, and was very clean. Isabelle had many spices available to cook with which was nice not having to buy them. The only thing is if you attract mosquitoes, you will need mosquito punks or spray. Besides that we will differently stay again on our next stay on Tahiti.

Best host ever!

Isabelle was the greatest host ever! The house and property was amazing and nestled back in Tahitian paradise but our host made our entire trip great. She helped us out so much and gave us many recommendations to make the absolute most of our time in Tahiti. 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful Place to Stay!!

What a great place!!! It was just perfect for our needs. It was away from the hustle and bustle and heavy traffic of the city. There was a king-size bed that was very comfortable. With Tahiti's great weather, it was nice to have the kitchen in a covered patio area open to the outside. The kitchen was well stocked with stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, silverware, and other cooking tools. There is a nice private fenced-in yard. It is right next to a beautiful clear stream with a path leading down to it. It's close to the beach. Isabelle is a wonderful host!! She was so friendly and helpful. She suggested activities that we were interested and told us how to find them. She speaks perfect English, which was a big help to us since we don't speak French. She went way beyond the call of duty for us.

Un beau gîte

Isabelle, la propriétaire, dès notre réservation du bungalow était prévoyante et a été sans bornes en répondant à nos questions et en nous conseillant sur les activités à faire à Tahiti. L'emplapcement du bungalow est idéal - 45 minutes en voiture de Papeete, 2 minutes de la belle plage de Tahau'u et son petit resto, 30 minutes des fins des routes à Tahiti'iti et proche de la montagne. Il y a, en plus, des autres bons restaurants à, ou près de, Papara - le Vahine Vata à Papara et, à 2km à l'est du bungalow, le Hoanui ; un autre resto recommandé est le Resto Musée Paul Gauguin qui est à l'est à dix minutes. Ces quatre restos ont, presque, les pieds dans l'eau. Le bungalow se trouve dans un quartier calme, à cinq minutes du centre de Papara, au bord de la rivière Tahau'u et avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne. Notre séjour d'un mois est très bien passé.
