Enjoy your stay in Poitiers for a memorable experience in a simple and warm 50s style decor. This semi-detached house of more than 120m2 covered (including 35m2 of basement) includes the ground floor, 1 floor, 1 basement and 1 garage. It has been totally renovated in a charming 3 *** urban gite in 2015 with "old-fashioned" wooden floors on more than 80% of the surface.

This place steeped in local history will be told to you as soon as you arrive. The hosts will share with you the history of this district which the abbot "Pierre Brossollette" was at the origin.

This cottage is just minutes from the historic city center. All the gardens of the neighboring houses converge in the middle of this district which creates a particular atmosphere. The cottage is thus facing an island of greenery of more than 2 HA, without opposite, exactly as in the countryside. Formerly cultivated for the needs of the inhabitants, the 500m2 of the eco-responsible garden of the cottage are now left "natural". No harmful products being used you will see throughout the year following the seasons of butterflies, turtledoves, pollinators and squirrels come to greet you from time to time in the morning.

This "favorite" is "Refuge LPO" since the end of 2014 so do not be surprised if the song of birds accompanies you every morning under the old arbor of ivy.

4 free car parks are possible including 2 locations in the property (1 in the garage + 1 in front of the house).

To stay as much as possible with natural products, this house, identical to the other 15 of the impasse consists of 90% polished floors as before, which are quite slippery: attention to the elderly and children. "Be at home ... put on your slippers". The floors are polished as in 1950 and can also stain if a material or a liquid is not immediately wiped (dining room and / or bathroom exit) at the risk of sanding and reloading. The murals and those of the frames are eco-labeled, with water. They therefore have no varnish, no protection and are without VOC emanation ... and as before they are quite significant.

The calculation of the stay is offered "to the person" (equivalent to 3 in low season or 4/5 in high season & holidays) and up to 8/9 with extra bed.

This house, owned by Patricia, Véronique and Didier, has been labeled with 3 Clévacances keys since the end of November 2015, Tourism and Handicap (mental and auditory) since March 2016, Ecolabel Européen Tourisme from 2016 to 2018 and Qualité Vienne since 1 July 2016. She was also awarded with the trophy "Top Tourism Vienna 2016 T & H" by La Nouvelle République on November 07, 2016.

Several options are available according to your needs:
- a complete set of beds at 12 euros per person (duvet cover + mattress cover sheet + flat sheet + pillowcase + bolster cover). We have 5 beds of 90 + 1 of 140.
- a panoply toilet 6 euros per person (1 large towel + 1 small + 1 glove)
- three tea towels for 5 euros

If you have selected options you will pay locally on arrival and the tourist tax of 1.40 euro / ppr / day.

When you arrive you will have to give us a deposit check of 800 euros (materials and cleaning) which is returnable depending on the state left to departure.
As an Eco-responsible guest house, departure cleaning is your responsibility. If the time to refurbish was too much at the departure of passengers, the CESU cost corresponding to the time spent would in fact be deducted from the deposit.
