Nice three bedroom close to the heart of the city.
We could have stayed closer to the Acropolis but this little gem was close enough to walk to most things. Right on a neighborhood park which has some local flair it was refreshingly more authentic. The owners need to fix the leak in the bathroom though. Other than that it was more than fine for my family and I.
I book this location over two months prior to check in. The property was 3 bedroom 2 bath, terrace balcony, sleeps 13. Upon arrival and standing outside the address, the host met us and told us we can’t stay at that location. He claimed “something was wrong.” He had us walk with all of our luggage to a different location. It was a two bedroom one bath. There was a worker finishing up the renovations, windows and doors were wide open. The heat was unbearable. The host’s assistant messaged me to confirm arrival. I was never told we couldn’t stay in the location that was booked. I asked to see the place and he would not allow it. I’m not even sure if the place I found on VRBO WAS THE PLACE WE ARRIVED AT. We traveled all night long just to be redirected to another location. The host never offered to refund me any amount of money due to the smaller size apartment. All he kept repeating was it was brand new and no one stayed in the new place. I didn’t care about that. I wanted the place I booked or at least notification that the address I booked was no longer available. 6 of us had three pieces of luggage that we had to walk to the new location. Something just didn’t feel right but we had no choice but to stay.
