What makes this Condo unique
Humpback Whale calving and breeding grounds during the winter months (November through April) right in front of the property! Ocean swimming, boogie boarding and surfing (during south swells), and windsurfing! The Pacific Whale foundation is a 10-minute walk from the property so you can walk to your whale watch tour, or take educational classes without a car! There is a charming local store called 'Tradewinds' AND the Harbor General Store with espresso, groceries, and deli. 5 minutes by foot, for local meat, fruits, and vegetables, liquor.

clean and well-appointed. convenient location
we enjoyed our stay. location was perfect for getting around all parts of the island in time efficient manner. clean and well-provisioned. nice perk of a great beach outside your door. parking appeared safe even when one couldn't find a spot in the condo's parking lot. very detailed instructions for check-in. If back on Maui will stay again here.
We liked the location close to water and beach. No central air and would be nice to have a bureau, no place for clothes and no place to put suitcase up.
Place was amazing !! Just like the photos and the beach was so beautiful.
The place was well taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. The views were amazing. The park at the beach let us see the local life as they spent a lot of time at this beach fishing and grilling. The pool was cold but the ocean was warm. The grills were in great condition. The people were all so friendly. The beach equipment was great and allowed us to walk the few steps to the beach fully prepared. The condo was decorated beautifully and the fans and air conditioning kept it just the right temperature. The last few days it was cool enough to just open the windows.
Fantastic place right on the beach.
This 2 bedroom condo was everything we could have asked for. It is on the second floor of the building. The main floor of the condo has the kitchen, living room, smaller bedroom and full bathroom. Upstairs has the master suite including a walk in shower. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation. No need to bring a beach towel, boogie board or chair because they have it but make sure you bring your snorkeling gear for the awesome snorkeling directly off the condo property. The kitchen and pantry are also well stocked to allow cooking each night but who wants to when there are so many fantastic restaurants to explore. This condo is on a bay on the south side of Maui and is an easy drive to Lahaina, Kihei and Wailea. I would highly recommend this place.
Lovely location, ok condo
The condo is in an ideal location, half way between Kihei and Lahaina. It is very quiet and steps from a gorgeous sandy beach that stretches for miles but is totally uncrowded. The balcony had a good view of the water and the adjoining park. The pool was nice and was shaded in the afternoon, there is a good barbecue area and a grassy area with loungers overlooking the ocean where you could watch the turtles playing in the water.
The condo itself was well stocked but a little dated. The kitchen had very limited counter space, no fan over the stove and was really dark to work in. In fact the whole condo was dark. This was especially true in the downstairs bathroom and the stairs to the upper level. Worst of all, there was no air conditioning in the downstairs bedroom which, even using the fans, became uncomfortably hot. However, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It would have been nice if the sheets could have been changed once a week. There was no washer and dryer in the condo unit.
So, we enjoyed the location and the condo was basically fine but could be improved.
Centralized location, everything you need for spending the day at the beach.
Maalaea is the most central location on Maui a reasonable drive to all points of interest. Only 10 min from the Kahului Airport & Kihei and 20 min from Lahania & Kaanapali. Nearby Maalaea Harbor provides guided boat tours such as snorkeling, scuba, snuba, fishing, dinner/cocktail cruises and whale watching (when in season).
