Lovely space with gorgeous views. Comfortable amenities - lots of great details from.salts and soaps in the bathroom to essential oils and diffuser in the living space.. Fast communication. Loved bringing our corgi for the weekend too!
Absolutely gorgeous property! Exactly as described, and even more relaxing in person! I loved the fire pit, the view from the porch and the sounds of nature in the backyard. The inside was so cute and cozy and made me wish I could live there permanently. 10/10 would stay here again. Elizabethtown is also a quaint little town that was close to great hiking!
I had an extended stay that was a combination of a solo work retreat mixed with family weekend adventures. The property is ridiculously gorgeous, the hosts were so warm and welcoming, communication was great, and it’s in the middle of way too many options for getting out and enjoying the Adirondacks. I miss seeing those mountains every morning and can’t wait to return!
The property was beautiful, totally loved it. Bed was comfortable, sitting room small but comfortable and loved the outside. A lot of amenities. Two things to be aware of, as mentioned in the description, there is no shower just a tub and there is no hose attachment to the tub faucet (I assume to prevent people making a mess with the water), so could be tricky. And second, the stairs and/or path to the space is a bit rough, steps are big and steep (mind u I am only 4'9), and if u go around the steps there's a slant on the hill. Other then tgat the place if terrific and we're hoping to stay there again on our next visit.
We had a wonderful stay in Elizabethtown! The amenities were fantastic! We loved the deck and the view of the mountains! All the information regarding the property was very helpful and easy to understand. We especially appreciated the information regarding the local restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the area. The place was very quaint and cozy especially when the weather turned cooler. We made great use of the fireplace! Wi-Fi worked great! We are planning on coming back next fall!
Lovely property; lots of room for dogs to run if you want them off leash. House had minimal but adequate kitchen and bath accommodations. No shower which I wish I'd known beforehand. Soaking tub was delightful but not easy to wash hair. Kyle was onsight to help as needed. The view is unparalleled!

LOCATION … LOCATION … LOCATION!!! That’s what we look for in a VRBO and Kyle’s place nails it! It’s hard to imagine anything better in a VRBO than sitting on that deck taking in that glorious view! Now the space has some limitations … no AC … no shower … limited kitchen facilities … uncomfortable fold out bed … but that all was ok with us. We look for location above all else and this place delivers in spades!
Kyle’s place has a lot of class … it’s tucked in the woods and feels remote and peaceful … it’s located on the edge of the high peaks … just 30 minutes east of Lake Placid … and Kyle was an exceptional on-location host. Staying there was an extraordinary VRBO experience and we are grateful!
