Beautiful base to explore Provence

Gite Margot was the perfect location to experience all of the wonderful locations around Provence - everywhere from Monaco & other Cote d'Azur resorts, the Verdon & mountains, Avignon, the Camargue and many others are all within easy day trip range. St Maximin is the nearest town with a good range of restaurants and a great market on a Wednesday morning. The gite itself was very comfortable and has everything a family of 4 will need including several cool terraces and use of the owners' pool which was very private. Look out for the herd of goats which graze right outside every day! The bedrooms get a little warm in the height of the 40c+ Provencal summer with no air conditioning but the fans provided created a cool breeze. Our host Margot was wonderful and made us feel most welcome. Would recommend Gite Margot very highly!

Ruhe pur

Ein wirklich schöner Flecken Erde. Das Haus ist ca. 4,5 km von der Innenstadt entfernt. Es liegt sehr idyllisch. Die Vermieterin, Margot, ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Der Pool gehört zum Haus der Vermieter (direkt neben dem Ferienhaus), kann aber genutzt werden. Das Haus is für 4 Personen ideal. Das große Grundstück bietet sowohl ausreichend Sonnen- als auch Schattenplätze. Von hier aus sind Marseille, Avignon, Aix, Orange, St. Tropez etc. alle in 1-2 Stunden zu erreichen.

Na 15 uur rijden had ik gehoopt op een vriendelijker ontvangst. Misschien kwam het door de taal barrière, maar er waren een boel dingen niet echt duidelijk. Huisje en locatie zijn mooi.
