We had a great time at Gibbs Glade: its a beautiful, well equipped villa with everything you could possibly want for a perfect holiday! The whole process was made so easy by Bruce and Lorraine which meant we had a relaxing time from the moment we arrived Would thoroughly recommend this villa !

We had an amazing time here, the villa was perfect for what we wanted. Each room having its own ensuite was a real bonus. The pool was the real highlight of the villa. Our host and the property manager were easy to communicate with and accommodated our late check out. We had a hire car making it easy to get to the beach and the shops. We went to a lovely quiet beach just the other side of Speightstown which was perfect. We had monkeys visit us at the villa a couple of times and it was great to watch them playing in the garden.There is air conditioning in every bedroom and in the lounge and fans everywhere else which was a god send when it got really hot. Would definitely recommend for families and would stay here again.

Great Stay for Crop Over

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Barbados property! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Lorraine and the other gracious hosts, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s perfectly located—just a short drive or walk to stunning beaches, delicious restaurants, and charming local attractions. While it's a bit of a distance from the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown, that actually became one of our favorite parts of the trip. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the noise and crowds, this spot is absolutely ideal.The only small note is that the main living area doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can get warm during the peak of the day—but the bedrooms stayed incredibly cool and comfortable the entire time, making it easy to relax and recharge.All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better home base during our time in Barbados. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again!

Great experience

House was as advertised and easily accommodated our six person group. Location great and a relatively short walk to beach and beach bars. Property Manager Lorraine could not have been more helpful - in advance with options for transport and experiences - and during the visit when I had considerable difficulties with lost luggage. She called BA on a number of occasions herself which was very much appreciated (even if in vain…). Can recommend our drivers also - Charlie and David.

Great house, location and communication

I would highly recommend staying here! It’s a fabulous spacious house in a great position, a short ride to some fantastic restaurants and beaches. Bruce was informative and responsive pre trip with any questions we had and Lorraine the property manager was brilliant once we were there. You’ll need to hire a car while you are here to get about the island but there are also local buses aplenty up and down the coastal road.

Ideal location.

Beautiful property. Lots of space for extended family. Spotlessly clean and in great condition. Lovely people, very helpful and speedy communications. Very easy to get to 2 fabulous beaches. Highly recommend this property. We're hoping to return.

Barbados Villa near Mullins beach

Accommodations were completely as advertised. The manager Loraine was very accommodating. She hooked us up with a baby high chair , crib at the house was a full side Pack n play , so up to all safety codes. Lorraine also assisted in securing a Chef for one evening. Delicious. Also housekeepers cleaned every inch of the house

Simply Gorgeous

The property is above and beyond all of the photos. It’s very spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Our grandchildren loved the large pool as did we. Lorraine, the property manager was so helpful in answering all our questions before our arrival and after.

Such a wonderful property and close to 2 amazing beaches. Bruce was very responsive and accommodating. Lorraine, the Property Manager was prompt and informative. The house had everything you could possibly need to feel at home.

Another great stay at this wonderful villa!

This is our fourth visit to Gibbes Glade, property is just as wonderful as the first time. Immaculately maintained, and in a fabulous position for two of the best beaches on the West Coast. Lorraine, the property manager, is extremely helpful, and the owner, Bruce, communicates incredibly quickly. We are already looking forward to our next trip to the villa!

Beautiful Villa and great Property Manager

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property Manager Lorraine was extremely helpful. On our first day while driving to the supermarket, our rental car hit a pothole and damaged both front and rear left tires. After many phone calls to car rental company it took about two hours to send help. In the meanwhile, Lorraine was kind enough to drive to our location, help us with car rental company and then went out of her way to take us to the convenience store and then back to the villa.

Close to the beach

Loraine, the house manager,was very professional and attentive. She helped us set up a cook to come to house and cook local food. We so enjoyed it. We loved that we could walk to the beach and the buses run nearby so we didn’t need a car.

Beautiful Barbados Villa

Everything is as described in the listing Very close to great beaches and restaurants. Overall we had a great family trip and would happily stay again ! Pros: - Very private pool and property - Very clean and well presented villa - some of the best beaches and restaurants are close by if you are driving - Very safe 24/7 - Host is very helpful - kitchen, bedrooms, family room etc. are all fit for puropose - we had a fantastic photoshoot at this house, given the lovely trees and interior. This exceeded our expectations (photographer was booked by us, not host) Points to note: - make sure you have a rental car if you intend to dine out, get to the supermarket or visit multiple beaches - internet is slow, with poor range. Working on anything other than documents online, from this location, will be a struggle. Host would do well to upgrade this - confirm beforehand whether soap (and shampoo etc.) will be provided - bring mosquito repellant or ask for citronella candles to be provided before your stay - if you want to use the pool at night - check that you have blankets etc. at check in - be prepared to cook if on a budget

Recent stay at Gibbes Villa with myself and 4 friends… The place was clean and tidy and the reality was very much in keeping with the images on line. The Property Manager, Lorraine was very helpful before, and during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble. Perfect for our needs, and we would definitely return… Excellent value for money…

A great stay

This property was amazing, we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful place. The owner and the manager were so helpful and made the stay really relaxed. Lorraine helped us book some great outings and was available throughout to contact if we needed anything. I'd totally recommend this property.

The West Coast of Barbados, otherwise known as the Platinum Coast, hosts the best beaches on the island. Sandy bays with easy swimming in the warm Caribbean sea.
Gibbs Glade is in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to two of the best beaches, Mullins & Gibbs, which between them offer sports & solitude.
Being one step back from the busy coast road makes it quiet & private but still convenient for attractions.

The house is well proportioned, but its style & design gives it the presence of a much larger building. The gardens are private and match the size of the house, together with the pool.
The design, with the vaulted & galleried central hall gives for a spectacular arrival and allows the sea breezes to circulate through the villa.
The living areas are spacious throughout, including bedrooms, kitchen & balconies.
