Wonderful stay in a tranquil village

We spent a lovely week in villa Alexandrine, everything was as described and very clean throughout. The aircon in the upper bedrooms was very welcome during the hot spell. The large pool was fabulous and maintained excellently during our stay, we used it every day. We would love to return in the future as we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Beautiful house but quite a difference between the upstairs en downstairs appartment.

+ Beautiful location + Pool is lovely + Nice and clean kitchen + Nicely polished + Pingpongtable, jeu de boules,... - Can not sit outside in the evening because of mosquitos. It is IMPOSSIBLE. - Downstairs appartment has no airco and a moisture problem. Leaking water tap in toilet wich lead to mold in the walls downstairs. This problem must have been there al long time before we arrived. You could see it on various walls. It did not smell OK! Plumber came to fix the water tap so that we didn't have to clean the toilet every 2hours but the mould problem was the same.It was not nice for me to have the beautiful appartment upstairs and my parents and sister had to sleep downstairs in that smell. Because of the musquitos they were not able to open the windows in the evening/at night so they were realy steamed after a night...

Nice property on edge of quiet hamlet in the Gard

We stayed for 2 weeks in June 2022 as an extended family (4 adults and 2 young children). Antoine was very helpful before our arrival and the property itself was very clean, well stocked with kitchen utensils, pans etc which is always welcome. The house is actually 2 proprties together - 3 bedrooms, , 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living area downstairs and the same upstairs. Both can be locked independently. This would have worked brilliantly for us but unfortuantely there is no air conditioning in the downstairs of the property, only upstairs. This is mentioned, deep in the details section of the property, but we only realised this on arrival and meant we all had to stay upstairs as there was a heatwave (39C+) during our stay. We all felt that the listing should make this much clearer in the main text and we wouldn't have booked if we had known 3 bedrooms had no air con. Also, we were told on arrival not to use the upstairs kitchen (no reason given) despite this room being in the listing. Because we were all staying upstairs, and had paid for the whole property with 2 kitchens, we felt this was unacceptable and used the fridge, coffee machine etc but cooked downstairs when needed. The property is on a nice overall plot and the pool is heated to a lovely 28C; we used it throughout our stay and other than it lacking a smooth lining (some rough concrete steps) it was very pleasant to use. Overall we had a pleasant stay in an area we know and like but because of the air con issue in particualr wouldn't return to this particular property.

Se situe dans un beau cadre, grande capacité (jusqu'à 13 personnes), grande piscine, grande cuisine, bonne communication avec le personnel...Rapport qualité prix moyen à notre avis. Odeurs du vide sanitaire trop fréquent (à l'intérieurde l'habitat), qualité / fixations d'élément moyen (radiateur mal fixé, wc qui bouge à chaque assise, piscine sans liner (maçonnerie) .

De l’espace, encore de l’espace ! Dans un environnement verdoyant et paisible cette propriété ne présente que des atouts. On pourrait citer de manière non exhaustive la superbe piscine parfaitement entretenue, la climatisation, les terrasses, le terrain de pétanque et le parfait équipement pour…cuisiner! Rarement vu une villa aussi bien. Idéal, avec tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Très moderne et confortable. J'avais peur qu'on manque d'ombre avec les 35° qu'on avait, mais ce n'était pas du tout le cas, au contraire la terrasse reste toujours à une bonne température. La maison aussi d'ailleurs.

Des vacances merveilleuses dans une maison parfaite.

Nous etions 8 ; 6 adultes et 2 enfants de 3 et 5 ans.nous avons passé une semaine en famille..au programme, sport ,ballades. Piscine ,farniente ,aperos et bons repas. La maison est un peu a l'ecart du village de saint alexandre. Elle comprend 6 belles chambres, 4 grandes salles de bain ,2 cuisines tres bien équipées , 4 toilettes . L'équipement menager et de cuisine est plus que complet.une grande terrasse ombragee permet de prendre les repas a l 'ombre meme pour 12 personnes. La climatisation au 1er étage est tres efficace .au rez de chaussée un ventilateur equipe chaque chambre completant si nécessaire la fraîcheur naturelle de la maison. La grande piscine est sécurisée, l'eau a 29 degrés ,limpide ,d'une propreté irréprochable permet des bains prolongés tres agreable . Les 8 transats sont protégés du soleil parfois intense. Le parking permet de stationner 5 ou 6 voitures . Table de ping-pong et baby-foot s'ajoutent a l'ecran grand format . Nous y avons passé une semaine parfaite, accueillis par la gentille cindy. Vous pouvez y aller tranquillement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa super équipée. Rien ne manquait et tout était au rendez-vous pour de superbes vacances entre amis. De la réservation, jusqu'au remboursement de la caution, en passant par l'accueil sur place, tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe de manière agréable. Verblijf Villa Alexandrine

We verbleven met 4 families (8 volwassenen en 5 tieners). De villa is net onderhouden en biedt alle luxe, comfort en uitrusting die nodig is voor een aangenaam verblijf. Keuken is praktisch en alles in aanwezig om te koken voor een groot gezelschap. Groot zwembad. Minpunt is geen airco op benedenverdieping en ligzetel te kort. Antoine is zeer behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar. We hadden er een zeer aangenaam en aan te raden verblijf.

Great house

Everything was great, we had wonderful two weeks at Saint Alexandre. The house and pool was excellent! We like to play pétanque, so the only thing we werd missing was some light to play in the evening. Thank you very much for everything and especially to Antoine who is a very nice person and very helpful.

Un petit coin de paradis

Superbe villa très fonctionnelle, isolée ds un cadre de verdure reposant, au sein d'un petit village qui a beaucoup de charme...idéal pour promenade VTT. La piscine de belle taille et le boulodrome nous ont permis de passer de belles heures de jeux agréable s avec tte la famille... A spécifier l'accueil très chouette et naturel... Bref, je recommande sans restriction ! PS: il y a la clim dans très les pièces a l'étage
