Fraud location

No contact from owner or host. We called vrbo and told them and they said we had to wait until check in time to verify it was a fraud location. I called multiple times because I did not want to go to Mexico without the location being confirmed or how to access. Nothing was ever provided and we had to get another location to stay through another provider. Customer service said we would get a refund on checkin day if we didn’t get a response from the owner. It is now 5 days later and still no contact from vrbo and no refund. Vrbo says they have a guarantee and they are not honoring it to date. Very disappointed.
