Probably our favorite spot yet! The house is adorable and beautifully decorated. So, so clean! We were happy with the parking situation. We loved everything about it and would HIGHLY recommend.

The house was perfect! Clean and cozy. The bed was so comfy and loved the claw foot tub. I had such a relaxing time. The host was good at communicating and was just a phone call away if I needed anything. Great area with a lot food a shopping near by. I would stay again

We are repeat guests. This cottage meets all of our needs when we visit family in KC. It is dog friendly, has an enclosed porch with a daybed which is cozy for reading/napping, a small office for zoom meetings and a full sized washer & dryer as well as a comfy couch with a lounger.

Cute house, GREAT location!

My mom and I and our two dogs stayed here 5 nights while visiting friends and attending a wedding. Originally from the Overland Park area we found this a perfect location to all the places we wanted to visit. Would stay here again!

Cozy Little House

This little house was amazing! Very clean and very cozy. Has everything you need. Communication with owner was great and check in was super easy. My husband and I and our little dog were very satisfied and would stay again.

This was a perfect little house for me. Especially since I was traveling alone with my dog. It worked much better than a hotel would have been. Very clean and cozy. I was also happy that the A/C worked really well since we had a heatwave going on. I'd definitely stay again!

Perfect Little Spot!

The Little House was perfect for my almost week-long stay solo. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood felt safe and had easy highway access. The bed was comfortable and the porch area and grill would be great in the summer!

This home worked well for me, my son and our dog for a long weekend. It's very well kept and because it sits so far off of the street, it's great for pet owners to have space to walk around the yard-almost like a small park!

Hi, we're Mel and Ryan! Ryan is a lifelong Kansas Citian and Mel has called KC home since 2012. We're a local family who are passionate about hosting and genuinely love welcoming guests into our spaces.

We know what makes a great stay because we love to travel ourselves and that's exactly the experience we aim to create. We want every guest to have a comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming home that we'd be happy to stay in ourselves.

We run two small short-term rentals in the KC Metro, and these homes mean a lot to our family. Beyond providing for our family, hosting has created meaningful opportunities for our son, who has profound disabilities, to learn real life skills.

The clawfoot tub, the cozy sunroom, the pergola and fire pit, every detail was thoughtfully considered for guests who appreciate charm over square footage.

The lot sets it apart from your typical small rental. You have real outdoor space to breathe, relax, and enjoy nature. The birdwatching is wonderful, and the chipmunks alone have won over more than a few of our guests!
