Aiken- Downtown Historic Cottage- Golf, Horses, Tennis, Bruce's Field
This adorable cozy cottage home was purchased in January of 2020, freshly painted inside, and decorated by a local well known Aiken designer from Nandina. At that time it also was updated with all new furnishings and bedding. It has plenty of on- street and some off- street parking, a charming private courtyard all on .5 acre lot. Sit on the porch swings, take a walk to the famous horse district, downtown or to the fabulously popular Wilcox Inn. Its all right around this home's location. Whiskey Road is just a block away which is the main commercial corridor of Aiken. The location just doesn't get any better. NOTE: Cottage is not suitable for children 14 and under due to antiques, designer decor, glass possessions, etc. The cottage retains its original 1923 footprint, so bathrooms are modest in size while still offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The back bathroom has a walk-in shower for easier access.

Amazing historic Aiken cottage! So cozy and wonderful! This cottage is so close and within walking to downtown. The hosts have this home fully stocked with everything you need but your personal items! Beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Definitely worth staying! We will definitely do so! Thank you again !
This adorable cottage was the perfect landing spot during our ladies with horses trip to Aiken. We kept the. horses at nearby Whitney Barns Group and it was an easy walk over each day. The cottage has a very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and room to spread out . Wish I had more time on that front porch swing!
We enjoyed staying in this property again. The home is cozy, well stocked, comfortable and perfect location for horse shows and downtown activities. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay and perfect location! To us it was in walking distance to some of the area attractions and it was also walking distance to family I was visiting.
House is in a perfect location and an easy walk to downtown Aiken. House is large and spacious plus fully equipped (and the owner keeps it stocked with some goodies). Only minor drawback was the place could use a couple more pillows. Overall 5 stars and would recommend.
This is an ideal property for a stay in Aiken: well-maintained, well stocked, and a terrific location close to the business and the horse districts. The management team was committed to ensuring a stress-free stay.

This was our third stay and we’ll be back—we love this house! Squeaky clean, nicely decorated, beautifully equipped, in a super-convenient location. Look no further!
This is by far the best property at which we've ever stayed.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m thrilled you enjoyed your stay. We love having our guests return to Sunnyside!
This was our second time at this adorable house. Scrupulously clean and very nicely decorated and stocked, in a super convenient location—a pretty and quiet neighborhood close to the horse district and downtown. It is our home away from home when visiting Aiken. Highly recommended!
