Cozy cabin on the river #6024

(New in the Spring of 2025! a second bedroom). Spacious cabin only feet from the Big Thompson River and walking distance to Breweries, Restaurants and shops. Let River Bend Retreat be your home away from home while you explore Estes Park and RMNP. Ideal for a couple or a couple with 2 children.
The private bedroom has a queen bed, and a new second bedroom with a King bed.
Large bathroom with Jetted tub and separate shower and stack-able washer/dryer. The Kitchen has full size appliances ready to cook the perfect meal or BBQ some steaks on the gas grill on the deck. Separate dining room has plenty of room for 4. Ramp access allows for easy to the decks and home. New gas fireplace in the living room, Perfect for those cool nights or just because. This home is not secluded and is among other cabins.

This home is fully stocked with bed linens, towels, extra blankets, soaps and shampoo. The kitchen has pots, pans and dishes plus silverware. A standard coffee maker and a Keurig, toaster, blender, crock pot too. A washer and dryer with laundry pods to use.

This home is managed by Rocky Mountains Property Services, a family owned and operated business local to Estes Park.

Traveling with another family but want your own space? Contact the host about renting the neighboring river front homes.

Rocky Mountain National Park will implement another pilot temporary timed entry permit reservation system from May 23 through October 20, 2025. If you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park during your stay please visit their website for details about reservations.

No Pets, No Smoking, No Events, no more then 4 people at the property at any time, no more then 2 cars at any time. The person renting/name on the account must be present.

Check in time is 4:00pm, Check out time is 10:00 am. If you arrive early enjoy the town, no early check in's or late check outs.

Wonderful vacation in Estes park!

This was our second year staying at this cabin and we had such an amazing time! The cabin is beautiful and the location is perfect. Can't wait to go again next year!

Perfect cabin

We stayed here for a week and it is close enough to main st and RMNP and just far enough away to relax. Would definitely go back and stay here again

Great place!

Really enjoyed our stay! Property was clean and well furnished. Loved the room darkening shades in all the rooms. Easy to get to and close to downtown. Would definitely stay again!

Spring Break

Overall, wonderful little cabin. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town, but perfectly located to all amenities. A little light on supplies (two rolls of toilet paper and being anowed in three days with runny noses was a little tight), but seriously a wonderful little cabin to spend time with family.

Right next to the river

Clean cabin and comfortable. The river is much closer than it appeared in the photos. Sitting on the deck listening to the river was very nice and even though other reviews said it was noisy, we found it to be perfectly fine. Beds were comfy, even Murphy Bed. Nice comfy cabin and we would definitely stay there again.

Rocky Mountain Retreat

Just what we were looking for

Everything about this cabin was perfect. From the location, near town and the river right behind it, to all the personal touches and how comfortable it was. All the extras provided in the kitchen and bath and the fresh flowers made this place feel like home. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck for meals and coffee, listening to the river.

Comfortable and convenient

We completely enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We had to work around a little road construction, but this was of little consequence. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The owners made the process very easy. I would definitely be glad to stay there again.

Great Place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's very close to downtown Estes Park - which is nice. The location is a little odd - in the midst of storage facilities. Being by the river was really nice. However, you could sometimes hear the traffic. The house is well stocked and very clean. The washer and dryer are a big plus! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location in Estes

We stayed for five days and wish we could've stayed longer! We enjoyed fishing and sitting by the river each day. Getting to town or into the park was very easy from this cabin but it also felt private and secluded. The best part is hearing the river at night! We would love to return someday. The host left flowers and has the house stocked with coffee and teas, an added bonus. Thanks so much!

Vacation 2023

We had a great experience with our stay at your property. The pictures online don’t do it justice. We were very pleased overall. The only exception was the bed. Not very comfortable for us but may be comfy for others. Overall, our stay was wonderful!

Great place to stay for a Rocky Mountain National Park getaway!!

We absolutely loved staying in this wonderful home during a seven day visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. Besides a generally great property, additional nice touches included fresh flowers upon our arrival, epsom salts for a daily hot soak in a great whirlpool bathtub, a very well stocked kitchen, a library of DVD's, games,. a riverside patio for end of day relaxation and a very reliable and strong wifi signal. This was a place that truly felt like home at the end of our hiking days. The location is great - close to RMNP and Estes Park, but removed enough from Estes Park to escape traffic, crowds, and tourism.

Beautiful updated cabin very close to town and easy access to park

The cabin is very, very comfortable and inviting. Just what I expected in a mountain cabin. The kitchen and bathroom have both been updated with quality and appeal. Everything was according to the description with very easy check-in. Loved having the cabin right next to the stream. Very peaceful. Also easy access to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Living room and its furniture was very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely Wonderful "Home Away From Home" !!

My husband and I spent another week at the River Bend Retreat this year and loved it even more than last year!!! It is wonderfully cozy, has fantastic, new amenities, is private, and is so beautiful and peaceful! The back deck was also a wonderful retreat, right on the Thompson River! We saw 3 elk right out back our first night there and saw many bunnies, dear, and hummingbirds during our stay. This beautiful retreat home is within minutes of the town of Estes and also Rocky Mountain National Park! We had so many wonderful days hiking, fishing, shopping, dining, and exploring -- all with breathtaking views!! I would recommend this get-away to anyone and look forward to going there again!!
