This non-smoking, (on balcony only) no pets 1 BR, 2 room apartment is 55 m2, on the first floor with warm furnishings, carpet and adjustable central/floor heating. Fans in summer. 1 sleeping room with EU double bed, single bed and single sofa mattress for lounge (more comfortable than sofa beds) Also travel cot available if needed,(Max 4 people plus baby) drawers & view to Staubbach Falls from pillow. Watch the water chase itself down the cliff in foamy cascades. Beautifully illuminated at night, the Falls go on tumbling. The Living room has coat cupboard space, 2 lounges (Leather) Internet Wi-Fi (20Mbs) and TV set for you to play your own media on your PC. Secured hard drive with 400 + English movies. Speakers for IPod, drawers & more cupboard space and view to Staubbach Falls.
The convenient, open kitchen (Dishwasher, 3 hotplates, oven, micro wave, rice cooker),has fridge freezer and exit to balcony. Shower/WC (shower gel and hand soap), hairdryer, iron & board (rare in Swiss hotels), table tennis bats/balls. It is also our home, so there are lots of extras, like power boards, phone charging station, pens, pads, colouring books etc
Balcony covered and facing Staubbach Falls, with uninterrupted views. Curtains and block out metal shutters for long rest time (also rare in most apartments). We have created a space for rest.

On the bus line to either Schilthorn Cable station to ski Mürren/Schilthorn, or to Lauterbrunnen for train to Wengen/Kleine Scheidegg. Free ski bus in winter. Walk is 15 minutes to Lauterbrunnen station and is well serviced with amazing cheese, meat and bakery shops as well as ski hire, bike, hairdressing, watch and gift shops, restaurants, cafes, 2 banks, Post, petrol, Tourist office (super helpful), adventure sports booking, swimming pool, mini golf, tennis, (Cross Country ski track to Stechelberg), geocaching, and supermarket. The walk will take you longer when you take time to enjoy the Lütschine, the pretty views and sit to paint the mountains from the South facing seat near the EWL. (We think J.R.R. Tolkien painted from here for his inspiration for Rivendell in ‘Lord of the Rings’.)

With Interlaken 12.4km bike ride or just 30 min by train, there are many other things to enjoy as well as the mountains. Interlaken is always an experience – whether it’s taking a walk along the Höhematte, taking in a open-air rock concert, market, festival classical music or taking an excursion up into other regions of Switzerland or the direct train to Berlin.
