Äskettäin uusittu ja täysin kalustettu 2200 neliömetrin 3 makuuhuoneen, 2 kylpytalon kanssa täysin valmis kellarikerros ja 2 auton autotalli. Apuohjelmat, langaton internet ja kaapeli-TV mukana, kahdella 55 ”TV-huoneella. Elmhurst tarjoaa viihtyisän esikaupunkielämäntavan samalla samalla kätevästi lähellä Chicagon keskustaa. Elmhurst on sijoitettu parhaimpiin asuinpaikkoihin Illinoisissa ja tunnetaan vankasta keskustasta. Nimitykset talon näkemiseen ovat saatavilla jo huomenna aamulla.

SIJAINTI: Kävelymatkan päässä Elmhurstin keskustasta. Vain 30 minuutin itään Chicagon keskustasta ja minuutin päässä O'Haren lentokentältä. Kätevästi kävelymatkan päässä Elmhurstin keskustasta, joka sisältää putiikkeja, ruokailu- ja viihdepalveluita yli 275 kauppiaan ja 40 ravintolan kanssa. Apuohjelmat, langaton internet ja kaapeli-TV mukana. 2 makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuodetta ja 1 makuuhuoneessa on kerrossänky ja toimistotila. Kaikissa huoneissa on huoneen tummuvat verhot. Upouusi ruokapöytä, jopa 7: lle ulosvedettävällä penkillä, televisioon päin. Valmiissa kellarissa on uusi LVT-lattia ja siinä on TV-alue, pelialue (arcade-koneet, foosball-pöytä, elektroninen tikkataulu ja mp3-soitin), kuntolaitteet (juoksumatto, elliptinen ja kuntopyörä), toinen ruokapöytä, puoli kylpy ja pesutupa, jossa on upouusi Kenmore-pesukone ja -kuivaaja sekä suuri pesuallas. Kaikki uudet Andersonin energiatehokkaat ikkunat. Suuri, aidattu takapiha tarjoaa turvallisen pelin ja viihdyttävän alueen.

Our child goes to Elmhurst University and we loved the location and the house was perfect. Mark was great and always answered our questions promptly. Will definitely satay again.

Very Clean/Great host

We stayed in this house for two weeks for a work trip. The house was VERY clean and Mark was an excellent communicator. There is every thing anyone would need both in the kitchen and bathroom, along with extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms. Mark even supplied drinks in the fridge, coffee pods for the Keurig, and snacks on the counter - a very nice touch! The only reason I did not give this a 5-star rating was because of the location of the house (which is unavoidable). As many of the reviews said, there is a very busy road that runs right next to the north side of the house. If we had only stayed for a weekend or shorter trip, this probably would not have been an issue whatsoever, but due to the length of our stay, it was more difficult to manage day after day. Finally, there is one full bath on the main floor which is quite small, and one bath with only a toilet and sink in the basement. Again, this is probably something I wouldn't have noticed if we hadn't been there so long, but if several people are staying in the home, it might be something to consider. All in all, however, our stay was very pleasant because of the cleanliness of the home and Mark's clear communication - things that are very important to us.

Fantastic house in amazing location

Mark's house is beautiful, and he is a wonderful host We flew into O'Hare's International Airport and it was a short drive of 12 miles to house. After a long flight from Ireland we arrived to find the house as beautiful as the photos and a much appreciated welcome pack of drinks and snacks. If you forgot your toothbrush or shampoo Mark has it covered with a wonderful range of bathroom essentials. House is along the busy North Avenue but Mark has provided eye masks, ear plugs and noise machines in each bedroom, we didn't need any of them to help us sleep as the beds were so comfortable. The basement was a great entertainment area and we loved all the board games, arcade games and gym equipment. It was also great to have a second TV so the boys could watch their own movies. Coming from rural Ireland it was wonderful to be able to walk to Elmhurst City Centre and enjoy a morning Starbucks or a movie in the evening in the fully restored historic movie theatre. The house is just a mile away from Walgreens and Jewel-Osco grocery store where you can get anything from sunscreen to a whole cooked chicken. It is only a 20 mile trip into Chicago City Centre and the wonderful Millennium Park. Parking is available under ground close to all the wonderful attractions. The neighborhood is very safe and clean and we had no worries letting our teenagers walk around it on their own. If you are travelling to Chicago you will struggle to find a nicer house in a better location.

Excellent Experience

This property has so much to offer!! First I must acknowledge that the road beside it is busy. Did that cause any problems for us? None at all. The owners provide a sound machine in every bedroom plus blackout drapes. Even without the sound machine we had no problem sleeping. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was so well stocked, even with some snacks and water. Plenty of towels, and the bedding and pillows were immaculate. The garage parking is a real plus. And then there is the basement. The ground level living areas are comfortable and convenient; the basement is pure fun. Arcade games, foosball, the sectional and TV, the dart board and all the games and toys for kids make me wonder if the kids would ever want to come upstairs. Add the laundry room and workout area and half bath make it absolutely perfect. Then there is Mark, the outstanding owner. I reached out to Mark on a Saturday afternoon that the home was showing available Sunday on, and asked if there was any way we could get it that day. Talk about accommodating, he actually cleaned it that night so we could check in. Did I mention what a good price it is? You should seriously consider this property if visiting the Chicago area. We will definitely be back.

Spacious house is a quiet neighborhood in Elmhurst

Mark’s place was very spacious and having a lot of windows made is felt airy and lit. Mark was very responsive and always available for any questions. Nice place to stay with your family. Beds were comfortable and nice. And commute to and from Chicago downtown was not too bad.

The house was in an excellent location for our needs. All communications with owner were handles effortlessly. Other thank minor repair issues (one bedroom door is loose at top hinge) the house is well maintained and has everything a quest would need. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place in good location

We had a great trip and Mark was really proactive and available if we needed anything (which we really didn’t because he stocked it up in advance of our stay with snacks, toiletries, towels, etc). Thoughtful owner also because he left several extension cords and multi plug adaptors because the house doesn’t have a ton of wall outlets. And he has noise machines in the bedrooms which I’m guessing is because the house is on a major road ( but you get quickly used to the sound when sleeping).

Great stay for a family

My family plus my parents stayed at this rental while in town for a wedding. The house had everything we needed including additional baby items that Mark provided so I didn't need to rent. After flying all day with two kids, exhausted, and thirsty, we were so surprised to see a stocked fridge with water and snacks! The location relative to parks, restaurants, and activities was great, and while we didn't take advantage of them all it was nice to see it all there. The location of the house on the main street, as noted from other reviewers, was quite noticable and so the noise machines helped. Mark was super responsive, helpful, and a great host. Would stay here again!

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND FUN

This VRBO is immaculately clean from top to bottom and is exactly as described in the "Lodging and Amenities" section. The finished game room is awesome and has games and/or activities for every age. The house is located in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. The spacious backyard is fenced in and was great for our young grandchildren to kick the soccer ball around while we sat and relaxed. The owner is friendly and pays attention to detail. The house is well stocked with everything we needed including things we did not expect to be supplied like snacks and beverages. We were very pleased with our stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mark’s property. It was the perfect location to travel to see friends and family who live all over the Chicago area. It’s also super clean and feels like home. Mark is an excellent host, and we can’t wait to return in the future.

Great house stocked with all the necessities. Forgot a charger, toothpaste, or extension cord? Mark's got you covered! Hungry? Stocked with water and snacks. Bored? Not likely. Books, games, toys, badminton, soccer ball along with games pictured. Tons of pillows and blankets. WiFi and smart tv. Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry are STOCKED. The one thing I will say is it is a bit tricky arriving/leaving from the garage side. Side street parking is another option. Lots of restaurants in the area. The house has nearly anything you may need. Recommend checking in before hitting up the nearby Walmart or Target.

Nice family house

This is a nice, updated location for a small family. Lots of upgrades and amenities. Only drawback was being on a main roadway that caused some issue talking in the backyard. But yard itself and house are very well maintained. Recommend.

Property was well kept, extremely clean and amazingly comfortable. All the amenities to think of were also available in the event someone forgets a small item. Beds were comfortable as well as couches. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great overall experience!

We loved our stay here! It was newly renovated, 10 minutes away from anything you could ever imagine, and very clean. The check-in process was seamless and Mark was great to work with. Would definitely stay again!

Just as described

Our family fo 5 was very comfortable in this home. The home was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. One side of the house is on a very busy street, but the home has upgraded windows, block out curtains, ceiling fans and white noise machines if the little traffic at night is an issue for you. It didn't bother any of us at all. The beds were very comfortable. Whenever we had a question, our host replied right away with an answer. We would stay here again and recommend it.
